I just wanted to let you know sand Castle field services havent turned out to be a very good company to work for.I have worked several yaers for them and  helped them out by running some long distant inspections including south alabama and Mississippi.I ran one to Woodville,Ms and they stated it was the wrong address and gave me Google maps ,which was also wrong. The orginal job i did, had a neighbor verify telling me i was at the correct address.I agreed to reun it free if it were my fault, but told them it would take a few days being it was 175 miles away. They decided to reassign and I guess they got mad and told me they no longer needed my services due to too many dissreptancies is how they stated it.I cant think of more than one or two issues in the last few yaers with addresses in which i completed as free if being my fault. They must have forgot about 2 years ago when i ran some loss mitigation work and they tried to scam out of paying me when thy said i didnt follow instructions but truth be know i did.I had to go to upper management to get paid for it.Now again i express they beg me to help on these long distant jobs yet they pay little like 40 or 45 for thse over 100 miles jobs. Not a good company to contract with.

I have done some work for them since January and have had no problems at all. The only thing I would like is more visits. I only get 4 or 5 per week which barely keeps me busy. I'd definitely recommend working for them. It's easy money. Just make sure that when you have jobs that require long drives that you are clear about the instructions. They have excellent customer service for agents...at least that is my experience. They are always nice to me and answer my questions promptly.

Sandcastle has been nothing but good to me. They offer many assignments and pay right on time. They call and email and ask about giving assignments. They are understanding and work with you.

I've done a dozen or so jobs for sandcastle now, and most of those needed a fee negotiation (I live very rural, drive times are further).  Every time, I feel the offer they made was fair, and I never have turned down a final offer.  I've gone "above and beyond" such as driving extra 15 mi to get to someone that sandcastle/client didn't know had moved, and every time I get a very nice response such as "thank you for going the distance".  I'm happy with my relationship with sandcastle.  I don't take jobs that pay too little, therefore, I have nothing to complain about!  I have completed jobs attempted by others and it is quite obvious, the effort just isn't there.  By visiting the local deli and spending 5 minutes of my time, I was able to locate someone who had moved.  A little effort does go a long way ...my feeling is it will ensure further work!

I also live in a rural area, can you give me any idea of what the jobs pay... I received an e-mail about one today that's about 60 miles from me but haven't been told what it would pay.

I have had a good experience with SFS.  They have paid on according to the contract signed.  Although I have no complaints about SFS  paying me on time, I have concerns about not getting work.  I cannot help it if the customer is not home when I visit, which calculates to a no contact which consequently hinders you from receiving work because of your contact rate and will assign the orders to those agents who does happen to find the customer at home.

SFS has been the best company to work for in this industry. They are relatively fair and my payments have always been on time. Now I get my check direct deposited. Good people to work with...thus far.......

I get periodic inquiries from Sand Castle Field Services asking if I will perform two and a half hour's work for the fee stated in their email...of $15-$25.

No complaints. They pay on time and always the fee negotiated. Since this is an extra job, the fee is fine. One could not live on this amount, but the extra money is nice to have. They also work with you on the day or time jobs can be done, so I can work for them around my schedule. I recommend them with no reservations.

Unless its within 10 miles anyone is nuts for accepting $25 to do any work for them. To these people saying how great they are don't have a life or haven't worked with other company's.

We have been working for Sand Castle a year now and they have been quite good to us...you say unless it's only a 10 mile away job, it's not worth it...the trick we use is wait until there are quite a few built up in the surrounding areas, and make a day of it. We map the jobs out so that we have a far point of maybe 3 hours and just take jobs in an area to do that section on the way to this point and come back another way to hit the ones on that side. When this is done it is easy to hit 12-15 inspections or field visits a day.....that makes it worth it....We have done so many they contact us first when they have one noone wants...We also do the property preservations such as securing, winterizing, trash outs and grass cuts. We have even done a few evictions for them.  We live in a small town and have traveled up to 250 from home for them and they have all been worth it with the exception of just a few hiccups. They have been very good to us.

They will  pay you apx $30 for one field visit. Sometimes the drive can be 15 miles one way. From my experience.

From March 2014 to October 2015 I've done 216 jobs for SCFS and been paid $6,222, doing mostly field visits and drive-by inspections.  They are very responsive whenever I have a question or need guidance.  The pay, although a little slower than I'd prefer, is predictable and reliable.  After I'd proven myself they signed me up for Direct Deposit.  I love working for SCFS and have no complaints, I use SCFS assignments to fill gaps between when I'm doing loan closing work for title companies..  The only thing you have to remember is that they have pay caps on the different types of jobs they assign.  Like Lauren said on August 29, they generally won't pay more than $30 for one field visit.  So as they limit how much they pay, you should limit how far you're willing to drive.  I set a 40-mile radius from my home office.  Occasionally they will contact me directly and ask if I can do a job in a certain distant city.  When I tell me the distance and quote them a fee, sometimes they accept and sometimes they decline.  That's business.  I enjoy the work though and hope to keep doing it.

I am retired and work for SCFS on a part-time basis, 2-3 days a week. I have nothing bad to say about them, they have been very fair to me and always pay on time. I agree with some of the above, $30 seems to be their cap on field visits, but you control how far you are willing to go to make that amount. Like Joe from Texas, I too have set a 40 mile radius, occasionally they will contact me to do something outside of that radius and will negotiate a fee with you if they can. Support when I am in the field, or general questions I may have at any time, has always been great. Being new at this, I have not worked for any other company, I have received calls from other companies to work with them, but so far I have turned them down. I am very happy here and am getting all of the work I want at this point in my life.
