I submitted on-line to an ad that I wanted some information regarding Home Refinancing. The next day, I went back to that site and un-subscribed from that request. I was told it took myname off the list for mortagers calling me.
Quicken Loans called my wife the day after I unscubscribed and was very nasty and un-professional telling her that he would only talk with me after she had told him I had unsubscribed.
Today, I get a call from Quicken Loans and I tell the caller I had unsubscribed from this service and he started quizzing me on what system I had unsubscribed from. He would not take no for an answer. I told him I was not interested and he continued to pressure me on refinancing my mortgage.
Never, in my life have I ever experienced such rudeness and unproffesional ethics. I would never deal with any Company that was so abusive.

I have the same complaint, only substitute "husband" for wife.  I can't get rid of these people.  Am considering a call to the Ohio Attorney General.  But first, I think I will call and harass them--ask them why they keep calling when they already know I HATE that type of company!

No kidding!  They average 3-4 calls a day to our home..for several days now  They also call from different phone numbers, and the Best now is the OUT OF AREA UNKNOWN NUMBER that they now call from.  I tell them over and over we are NOT interested.  They called 3 times today already..  Last night after 7pm and 2 other times early morning and afternoon yesterday as well.

The sad thing is: Do they not know how this turns people away from using them EVER?

Well let me try to answer this as best as possible the ad that you filled out charges other companies money for the release of your info.  So if a individual gets that lead he probably only has a few others.  He relies on this for income.  I would probably do the same thing if i didn't have anything else to call.  This is his livelihood.  You took the first steps in initiating what did you expect would happen. You inquired, the indivudal would have never called you if you weren't interested in something.  It's his job to figure it out....

This is known in the real world as sales. Some people work hard to earn money i myself wouldnt ever do it but i give credit to the guy for persistence not harassment.

And ? The mere idea of me submitting my information is to receive or inquire about services. Once I have/ haven't but decided that I no longer would like or am interested in your services, then all communications are to come to a halt. The same way I gave you my contact information to be contacted , they same way all communication should END when I tell you I'm no longer interested and have unsubscribed.

Unfortunately most sites online that offer instant information are lead sites that sell your inquiry to lenders, so unsubscribing to that original site does nothing because your info has already been given out the the lenders. Simple way to stop any unwanted phone calls from companies like that is ask to be put on the Do Not Call list.

Constant harasment and they can't even get my name right. 3-4 calls a day after I contacted a real estate agent and local lender. I don't even know where they got my number. I'd never do business with them.

Constant harassment even after I asked them to stop. Also misleading information. They claimed to be our loan servicer when they are not.

Steve, it may be his way of earning a living, and you may be posting that drivel just to piss me and others off but I say this: if I lose my job, well, I will just come into your home and steal everything you have, ok? Well, hey! Its my only source of income right now, so it should be juuust fine, huh? Sound stupid to you too? No! This may be their only source of income, harassing people 3 - 5 times a day AND using PRIVATE UNKOWN calls to get you to answer the phone but no matter how you look at it,  it IS harassment!!! I will be filing complaints with the BBB and pissedconsumer.com! I HATE that quicken loans! Anywone who sees this, DO NOT use their company!

"Do not use their company"....Easier said than done when your loan servicer sells their loans to Quicken.  That's what Ocwen just did so we're screwed having to deal with the harassment by quicken because they now own our home loan.

Whitey pay no attention to Steve he was probably one of the loan sharks that called you and me!! Get the message loan sharks if we don't freaking answer we DON'T want to talk to you. I started to fill out a loan survey, because I am generally interested in finding out more about refinancing.  I stopped and got out before finishing,  because there was no way to say that I didn't want phone calls and because it had switched mid survey from a third party to quicken loans. Thinking I had dodged a bullet with that one, I deleted it. That was a half hour ago. They have called twice and emailed me at two addresses, one of them that I didn't even submit in the first place. I will be ignoring them, but if this keeps up I will be filing for harassment.  I didn't even hit submit!  I ignorantly thought backtracking and deleting was enough! I certainly won't be doing buisness with quicken loans!

I went to Quicken Loans website to get a mortgage rate quote. After I completed the fields and submitted the information, I started to get phone calls. I was literally panic after they kept on calling me from morning to afternoon while I was at work. I started to question the business practice of this company. If I was thinking of getting a loan from Quicken Loans before, now I won't even consider it any more because of the fear of its irrational and inconsiderate behavior.

Obviously, Quicken Loans has not changed their business practices and feel it's a good strategy to harass potential customers.  I did they same thing; made a general inquiry online and now I get 4-5 calls a day....and this is after I've asked them not to call, both verbally and on their website.  And when I am ready to get serious about shopping for a loan, I won't even consider QL.

They've been harassing me with at least 2 calls per day. I always ask to be taken off the list. I don't even own a home and I don't know how they got my info. Like an need another excuse to HATE Intuit
