I received a call the other day from a 062 area code. After researching this area code I found from other complaintents that they were offering lower interest rates. Today I received a call from an unknown caller offering lower rates and it was my personal telephone number that showed up on the caller ID.  Recognizing the prefix as a number from my city, I answered it.  After hanging up after they started their spiel, I checked out the number and it was my own. Is this a new type of way that of getting people to answer the phone? Have their been other complaints of this nature?

    From last two Days I'm getting calls from one numbers and they are harassing me. The no.s are 9873369203. I'm from Delhi and I request you to punish them. If any Police is reading this message, please respond and punish this people. Please...please save me.

    I am getting continuously calls from an unkonwn number in early morning, office time,midnight. He was threating which was really disturbing me a lot. I am trying to change my cell no. but there was no result. This person NO - +919014692046. (another two no.was +919090659602 & +919533060050) I am trying to send him messege, trying to say hard & soft word but their was no result. kindly take any type of necessary action against him.

    I have been getting calls from UNKNOWN--no name, nor phone number--does anyone know who these people are? I can block/reject a phone number, but phone company says an unknown comes from a multiple callers computer and can not be traced or blocked.These people want to find a person with my last name, but when I tell them that they have the wrong number--it doesn't stop the calls, which come in constantly from 8 AM to 9PM, weekends and holidays for one year and I am so tired of the calls.

    Here's another pain-441-115-914-2030; strange number but this is what comes up on caller ID.
