I got a Call and Vitelity, LLC claiming they were Freedom Life Insurance.  They got a quote $200.00 per month cheaper then what I was paying right now.  I asked them to call me from a Corporate Number and they were unable too.  The numbers I was called from were as follows (321) 304-5058, (903) 368-3373 and (903) 956-6006.  I asked them to call me from a corporate number after I looked up them and they could not call me from there corporate number.  I looked them up on the TDI.Texas.org.

I too rec'd a call from Nolan Cooper 248-928-1228...said he was with Granite Financial and the company he works for "found" hidden money from a patient that he said owed us money.  He gave me a court case number as well as a dollar amount.  None of the info he provided could be paired with our patient information.  He has called 5-6 times following up...asking if I want this money or not...I have asked for more detailed information to be provided at this time.   Nothing has arrived.  SCAM!!!

Vitelity is a telephone company. It provides toll-free and US local numbers, some of which belong to legitimate users.

Vitelity isn't the entity perpetrating these scams, any more than Microsoft is the perpetrator of every scam and spam arriving with a @hotmail.com return address.

I received a call from Nolan Cooper (248) 928-1228 who said he was calling about a debt of one of our previous tenants that owes us money.  He said he was with Granite Financial and said he was able to identify an account that they had money in and could retrieve it for us.  I advised him that our lawyer is the one that handle that case and I gave him our lawyer's name.  He told me that he has already talked to our lawyer in the past about other cases.  I was asking him other questions, such as how their company works, how they get the money and what this costs us to retrieve our judgement.  He explained that if they are able to recover the judgement then we would get half of it and they would get the remaining half so it would not cost us anything.  I asked him how and what kind of account this was that he was able to locate that had money in it for these people.  And all he kept saying was that they have identified an account that these people had money in and could go after them for the money that is owed to us.  I asked him again what type of account this was that they identified and he said it was a cash account, which seemed very vague.  I advised him that we have done bank garnishments before on others that were unsuccessful because people were notified prior to the garnishment and would close their account and then he said he wouldn't need to send them any type of notice, but then said he would only have to send her a debtor's notice, which didn't make sense.  I told him I would have to check the records and get back to him the next day.  I asked for his phone number and once he gave it to me, I asked him if this was an office or cell number and he said it was an office number.  I asked him if he would be in his office all day when I called and he said only in the morning.  I immediately called my lawyer and he said he has never heard of this guy and never had any dealings with him in the past and advised me this was a scam.  I told my lawyer everything he said and he said it was impossible for him to retrieve money out of a bank account without notice and also without filing it with the municipal court.  So, I did not call this guy back and I'm not going to call him back.  If he calls me again, I will let him know about my conversation with my lawyer and call him out on this scam.  I will also block his number if he continues to call or harass.  There's a law against telephone harassment that I will utilize if necessary but otherwise he'll be blocked from my phone.  To whomever is reading this, please also note that I downloaded a free app on my phone called Mr. Number that will block numbers for you in addition to your cell phone provider.  It allows you to send a certain number to voice mail or it can just hang up that number every time it calls.

Thank you for posting about Mr. Nolan Cooper. Without your comments, I may have called him back. He just left me a voicemail inquiring about a judgment I received several years ago. I was surprised because the information he gave (though vague) was accurate. The entire voicemail was vague. He just wanted to ask me "some questions" about it. So weird. I blocked him, but part of me wants to return his call and play along for fun. What a dick.

I work for Granite Financial, our business is not a scam. We successfully recovery money on a regular basis.  Some records we get do not always match internal invoices, especially when it is involving medical. We acquire court documents.  I am often vague so as not to disclose the nature of the asset we found.  Which is what I am asked to do.  Please followup with me at 248-971-0057 or my email ncooper@granitefinancialonline.com  I will make sure I get to the bottom of each complaint.

I save myself by not answering these calls. I just had this show up on my caller ID and like always I never pick up is I don't know it. I know what my debts are, which are very few and keep track. When I see things like this I simply look on line and see all your answers. If I am left a message of harassement I call my local office and file a complaint with the DA office.

How many times do I have to get these calls? Caller ID show some from Vitelity, LLC, others from unidentified to some other scamming name but the recorded caller, Allison, is the same. Once again, I asked to be taken off their list to call but I won't hold my breath.  What is the use of a National No-Call list if everyone who wants to market anything still calls? Why isn't the FCC or FTC doing something.
