I found through review of my credit bureau reporting agency that i have a new collection debt through Stellar Collection Service, Syracuse NY for the amount 706.00.  I owe no one that amount of monies.  They have not provided me with an account number or a written statement telling me who it belongs to.  I have a fraud alert filed as of June of this year for information as my wallet was stolen in June of 2007.  I have reported this to the detective that is handling my case.  In the meantime there is a collection agency that is trashing my credit with faulty information.  Beware.

    Here is a variation of the letter that I sent to Stellar, please feel free to submit to them your own version today. Once you send them notice they MUST stop calls. You do not have to send the notice certified, unless you would like additional proof that the notice was sent. An Email and Fax should be sufficient to show proof of notice with a receipt.

    file or the email address provided in this letter. Violations of this demand will result in litigation
    as well as civil penalties & fines.

    I pulled my credit report and noticed that I had 6 accounts with stellar collection services. I am may be anal because I keep every bill that I ever recieve weather I can pay them right away or not. I found the bills for 3 out of 6 of the accounts in question the other 3 bills on my credit report total up to $4,597. I know these are bogous because I dont have the bills for them I will be sending out by certified mail request for them to send me all the information on them and I will contact the credit reporting agencies to have them investigate as well. Now I believe in paying my bills if they are mine but I will be darned if I am gonna pay for something thats not. Can they be sued if they put bogous accounts on my  credit report?

    This crazy company that keeps calling me asking for a Glen and I keep telling them that no Glen lives here and to stop calliny my phone number.
    They will not stop and I will sue if they callm e again.  What they don't know is my brother is a Federal Court Judge and of course a lawyer.  This company needs to investigated and I plan to make that happne!

      Thank you, please do.  I just checked my credit report and have  one from Stellar in Tennessee and the same one from Montana and both are for $331 each and I have no idea who the company is suppose to be that I owe. I sent them an email. hopefully they will respond. I am not negotiating by phone. If this doesn't turn out right I will sue.

    This Stellar Collection call came from a TX area code asking for Kevin Jones.

    It just stated if I was not Kevin Jones to hang up.  That is what I did.  They are calling on my cell phone and call it at least 1 to 2 times per week.  I figure if they ask if you are not Kevin Jones please hang up and that is what I do but they still keep calling back.

    I just recieved a call on my machine from Stellar and returned it. When the guy answered after a few seconds of static all he said was"...hello?" I asked if it was  this "Stellar Collection Agency" and he says "uh, yes.. who's this?" He verified my home address and said I owed money to a loan company. I have had no contact from said loan company or Stellar in the mail in the past year. He called my home number (that I NEVER give out) but could be easily found on yellow pages. Confused?

    I have received two robo calls for an individual I do not know.  The latest earlier this morning. I immediately called the following number, provided during the call 1 888 296-9859.  "Dexter" answered.  Makes sense that they hire serial killers.  Dexter was not receptive to my request to cease and desist.  I googled Stellar, with offices "strategically located" in Montana and Florida.  I sent them an e-mail again stating my request to not make any further calls to my home phone.  If they fail to comply I'll contact the State Public Utility Commission with a complaint, also notice my phone service provider and the District Attorney.

    This company filed a false claim on my credit report they caused me a serious amount of aggravation and
     money to clean up there mess. I going to sue them.

    this happened to me today. I am very pissed. I contacted co I supposedly owe to and i have NO account with them.
    they now know and I reported them to the BBB

    Keep getting a call for these people about a debt, when I call the number left on my answer machine get nothing. The thing is the only people  I own money to is my house payment and it is a month ahead. NO OTHER BILL!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Same for me in regard to Stellar, placed many calls, none returned. I call the medical provider listed and they have nothing on file for me, NOTHING!!
