Charged $69.90 without authorization

I purchased the Google Home Business Kit for $1.95 from Pacific Webworks.com, Profitstudiolearning.com. Supposedly this is a legimate company that sells these kits. They turned around & charged me $69.90 without previous authorization. The terms only said a charge of $1.95 one time setup fee. This is a scam & Google is also a party to this for allowing this company to sell with their name.

There is your answer to how "legitimate" they are. This is exactly how this sort of scam operates: make a "teaser" offer for a "free-trial" or just "shipping and handling", to get account information, then pile on the charges until the "mark" (you) catches on.

Google has nothing to do with them. They just "borrow" their name to make them look legitimate. Common fraud tactic. Just like the "Wal-Mart shopping spree" scams.
Although you might as well send a complaint to Google's legal department, there is no legal obligation on Google to stop all unauthorized use of their name. Fly-by-night scammers use legitimate companies' names all the time. If they are engaged in one form of fraud or deception, you should not be surprised they are engaged in others.
Dispute the charges as fraud with your bank and closes the account to prevent additional fraud.
If you can't verify who a company is, you can't assume they are legitimate just because they have a web presence and can take your money. Just because you authorize a payment doesn't mean they won't take more.
Contact your bank immediately to dispute all unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and close the account to prevent future fraudulent charges. Follow up by sending your dispute IN WRITING to the dispute address on your bank statement, and make sure they get your written dispute in less than 60 days from the statement date showing the fraudulent charge to preserve your FCBA dispute rights.
It is important to cancel the card number they charged, and not just block charges from that company, or you may find additional charges under this or other names, later. Also, be sure to watch you statements for your replacement card closely, since unauthorized charges to your old card can roll over to your new card for a few months even when they don't have your new card number.
william, close your card bank account today.
