I have received countless phone calls on my cell, they have called a friend of mine many times, and even called my employer several times. Harry Smith, with a thick Hindu accent, from American Law Division says I have a suit filed against me and my SSN. If I do not take action on this I will be put behind bars. I told him he is not to call me, my friend, or my employer repeatedly, yet he has still been calling. He said it was about a pay day loan, which is total crap.

I just recived a call from this company and they had alot  of information on me. I have recieved calls like this in the past threating to arrest me and take me to court if I didnt pay. I was scary that he had my account number aswell. I looked through my account statements for the past year and saw that their were no deposits. He said I would have to travel to California to go to court. If your going to arrest me in my home state, why do I need to go to another state to stand trial? That didnt make since at all. Needless to say that they told me they couldnt give me any information on my case only that I needed to pay them now or suffer.
These guys are really making me mad!!!!! They are a bunch of fakes.

The same thing has happened to my girlfriend.  They call my phone asking for her. I told them that I don't know my girlfriend. They then took me off the list.

They called me and told me I had money deposited in my account, however, looking at it online nothing posted. They had my name, my employer the last 4 of my social and better yet the last four of my debit card. They all sounded like they were from india with american names. Officer Rox Murphy this was a time sensitive call I needed to go get a prepaid card from walmart and send him a fax authorizing him to use the card within 20 minutes, funny though he called me today. He was going to the courthouse to file a warrant for defrauding the bank,he could not tell me which courthouse. He said it was a cash advance america, so I went to the website they are aware of the scam and it says ask for documentation verifying the debt. I read this to him and don't give any information over the phone and report this to the Federal Trade Commission he hung up on me.

Had the same incident to happen to me Friday. But this time I asked for the name of the law firm plus a physical address.  Whenever I asked for a physical address, I was put on hold.  I had to keep calling back.  I did tell these people I knew that this was a scam and I was recording these calls and they are being forwarded to the FBI.  I also told them that I had cousin who was an attorney in the same city they was and all I needed was physical address so he could come in person to see what this is all about.  I was told not to call them back.  Go figure. In in terms told them if they don't call me then I will not call them.  I got scammed one time by them.  Periodically they call. Hopefully this will nip it for good.  It has got to be the same group of people.

i keep receiving calls from a recorder stating my name and ssn has been linked to fraud and I will be summons if I don't call them to handle the matter. I did a reverse search on the number located in providence,ri 401-223-3250 is the number and from what I see they are trying to scam plenty of people. I don't have any payday loans and don't know how they even got my information. But There's never a person attached to the call

To all those who are also receiving these calls, please see link http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2013/07/amg.shtm - I have done 4 things.  First is file complaint with FTC, second is register for National Do Not Call List, third is Opt-out, and 4th is saving the threatful messages left in case FTC requests it. - There a thousands of people who have experienced this threatful collection tactic, as indicated in the FTC link above.  The most recent message was we'll see you in court.  I'm debt free, these people don't even state where they're from or where the debt is from, and messages left only say they're from a legal department but don't specify with which company.  Real debt collectors will send you a notice and give you options to settle, and also do not call you to threaten about settling out of court without Identifying who they are or reason for their call.  Now they have to settle with FTC.  If they believe they are not bound by laws, just keep saving your complaints and keep forwarding them to FTC.

    It's a scam!!
I've been getting calls for the past 3 day's from a guy I can't even understand. All I can make out is that my SSN has been used on my computer and the want me to get a green dot card and put $160.00 on it, give them the number off the card and they'll collect that as their payment to remove my SSN from the internet and they informed me 12 people done got my SSN and is attempting to use.... I have never put my SSN on the computer for anything, but somehow this guy knows a whole lot of information on me. It's actually very scary he knows so much but I know it's a lie and scam. I just don't know what to do to get them to stop calling me, I've done threatened them in every way I know how.

I received a call that I have 4 charges and the police will be coming to arrest me.  They asked me to call them back so they can discuss the charges before I am arrested.  I received a similar call a few months ago.

I have been receiving calls saying a fraud claim had been filed against my ssan and to call before legal action was taken against me.  This started several months ago.  Yesterday they called in the morning. I blocked the call and they called on that number in the afternoon.  They called again this morning using a different number. Calls all from TX.

The exact same thing keeps happy me. I block these numbers but still get calls. Now the voicemail messages are computer generated. So annoying!
