WE ARE GOVERNMENT CONTRACTORS WHY WOULD WE NEED YELLOW PAGES ONLINE. HE CALLED THE OFFICE AND ASKED ME TO VERIFY ALL INFORMATION HE HAS AND THEN RECORDED ME AND MADE IT SEEM LIKE I ORDERED AN AD. HE TOLD ME HIS NAME IS RICHARD WILSON AND HE IS CALLING FROM COLLECTIONS AND NEEDS MY MONEY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER FOR IT NOT TO GO TO MY CREDIT. I TOLD HIM TO SEND IT TO MY CREDIT THEN AND HE SAID NO I NEED YOU TO PAY THIS. HIS NUMBER IS 646-351-1239. THIS IS REDICULOUS SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING, BECAUSE WE ARE OUT AROUND $500.

    Received a call from this number as well as others and they leave a voicemail talking about the major crimes unit or the fraud department and try to scare you into calling them back because you've allegedly committed a crime. I most certainly have not and an automated voice recording on my voicemail is not the way a legitimate government agency would be trying to reach me. So annoying.

    Had a recorded computerized voice mail from this number if I don't call right away they will send a lawsuit to county clerk.

    Two phone calls from these people. First left a message to call them back as it "was urgent." Called them back after a second call and a person with a Middle Eastern/Indian accent answered. Stated it was the IRS. I asked "the who?" He repeated " THE I.R.S." My response was "f*** off" and I hung up. Background noise sounded like a large call center with many indiscriminate voices doing the same as this guy. They did not return the call. 646-351-1239 from NY.

    left VM  recording "...legal matter and will send this case to the local county courthouse.  Kindly call this number."

    I received a call from the same company.  Go to https://www.ftc.gov/ and file a complaint.  I didn't answer the scam call.  It was on my voicemail several times.

    It is 2016 and they haven't shut this IRS scam down yet.  Crazy.  A computer calls you and says you are part of some IRS problem and to call back at 646-351-1239 (same number as the robo call).  I called back they answered IRS.  I told them they were frauds and they hung up on me.  Now when I call it appears that they blocked my number.  However, have they shut down the robo caller, no I keep relieving calls and messages.  I reported it to the IRS, but since this number has been in use since 2011 I seriously doubt anyone is going to do anything from the government.  I am going to have to block this call.  I did report this scam to the local news in hopes that they'd share the information.

    A pre-recorded message saying I am in trouble with the IRS and returning the call immediately is required before further action is taken.
