I have received six calls in the last month from Card Holder Services wanting to lower my APR on my credit cards. I am on the do not call list. Two calls back I talked with a representative and told them I was on the do not call list and please remove my number from their solicitation list. I also said I would take legal action if they called again. Well, they called today!

I got one too many calls from Rachael from Card Holder Services.  I hit 9 to speak to a rep.  Questioned him about which credit card balance he was referring to and knew right away he was phishing for card #'s.  He asked me what my balance was.  Made him wait while I "looked it up".  Kept him on the phone for several minutes while I played a computer game.  Finally I came back on the line and was surprised to find Rep. was still there.  I told him my balance was about 11.  He said "Eleven Thousand?"  No, eleven dollars.  He got angry with me for wasting his time but I was able to invite him to go screw himself before he hung up on me.  Probably did no good at all but it made me feel better!!!Z9Z2

I just got a similar call on my new company cell. The listed number was 316-305-4782. A call back only went to a voice mail box where the owner seemed to have passed their hand over the mouthpiece of the phone to distort any possible name entry.
I have received several similar calls to my home phone and my cell phone. Both are on the do not call list.
The FCC and congress should be helping to clamp down on the phone services who allow this garbage, then clamp down on the scammers.

I too have received many, many calls from these scum-bags.  Finally, I decided I should as least have fun since I can't stop the calls.  I wait for a rep and the conversation may go something like this  "Hi, this is John.  Do you want to lower your interest rates?  Me - I'm not sure, is it snowing?  John "huh?"  Me - Do you know how to fix loose dentures?  John "uh" .  Finally John will hang up, but at least it's not hanging up ON me!

Really ready to shoot Rachel!  She had the audacity to call my cell phone.  The strange thing is that it just happened after adding my cell phone to the Do Not Call list.  Coincidence? I hope so, Or the other calls may start.

They call from different numbers each time and each time i press 3 to get off the list, but they are like a bad disease that won't go away. They will only give you an 877 after they qualify you. My number this time was 305-304-9999

The DNC complaints are not reviewed unless a company is under investigation. I have had poblems with these people for ages. The numbers they call from are bogus and when you press a key it switches to another exchange. I have seen 'cellular call', names close to companies and agencies I know of, it has shown 'unavailable' and 'out of area' and jus plain 'unknown'.

I tried the button to remove me from the list. I wasn't expecting it to work figuring it was like clicking 'remove' from a SPAM mailing list- it just confirms you are a live one.

I also tried talking to a 'human' and was met with an obscenity laden tirade with every word ending in 'ucker' you can dream up as well as 'stick it up your a**' and a number of f*** yous' before being hung up on.

I've tried to milk them for info to try to find out what banks they supposedly represent and they will hang up if you start asking questions.

These people are all over the 'Net for bugging people and have had several judgements against them. Still, nothing stops them. My exchange happened with them last August 2011 and here about 4 months later I have over 45 calls from them using 10 different numbers, 5 just the last week.

I would recommend in addition to filing the DNC violation complaint, contact the state Attorney General Office Consumer Affairs where you live. Also file a complaint directly with the FTC. It's more of a hassle, but the DNC complaints are as useful as complaining to your kitchen sink.

I have received two [***] calls from "Cardholder Services" in the last week.  I wish they would stop, but I guess not.  It's time for a class-action suit!

Perhaps in a courtroom, they will see the light!

I've been getting these nuisance calls for well over a year. I'm so mad I want to spit nails when it gets me up out of the easy chair with a pile of papers on my lap or during supper.
Just today I called my local phone provider and here's what he says:
Blocking unidentified calls may inadvertantly block calls you DO want. But if you have JUST received one of these "Rachel" calls, hang up, then pick up the phone again and emmediately dial *60. That will block the LAST call from ever calling back.  Of course, it's to be understood that this problem may not go away that easy. They obviously use different numbers. But, it's a beginning.
Call your own provider and see what number they suggest using. It may not be the sames with all companies.

They might have caller Id and probably screen their calls to only answer calls with a 407 area code. I know of a # you can call to change your id # to show a 407 area code.

Unbelievable!!  All these complaints over all these years!!!  I just can understand why nobody can trace these phone calls...I have tried with my phone company several times and they can't help, they just offer to block the number from calling again...What good does that do when the A**Holes just rig up another false number!!  Somebody has got to take a stand against these JERKS... I am a stay at home mom and would be willing to give all my energy into finding these FU*****!!!!  The way that I have been verbally harrassed over the phone by them us an unexplainable gut wrenching feeling, that makes me want to vomit....The one call the man was asking me age and telling that I sounded cute and wondered what it would be like to F*** me.  If this is not sexual harrasment I dont know what is. When they call now I give them fake information!!  Fake credit card, fake expiration date, fake bank info, fake account number....I guess I get a little satisfaction knowing that they are ready to run to the bank and rob me blind only to find out that the info that I gave them is fake!!!  HA HA F**CKERS!!!!
