Please look into the background of Jim Shead or anyone else before handing your money over for "coaching" services to assure they aren't a professional scam artist. Words are great, but actions speak louder. I would personally feel more comfortable handing my money over to be a party to do an actual real estate deal.
Jim Shead travels around the world doing his scam coaching services. So far, there's only one "Jim Shead" real estate coach that has an online presence. Every time I google "Jim Shead" real estate, all the links that come up are regarding this one individual.

Do I blame only him? No! I also blame those who left their respective place for greed in hopes to make more of a buck. I went to see Jim and I grant you he made me believe, but when I got to see and know what he was really doing, I wouldn’t recommend anyone work with him. A warning to all-no REIA is absolutely perfect and anyone telling or saying it is that should be your first clue that it is a sham. I don’t care if anyone on here believes me on either side of the isle of this argument. It is what I know and saw! What I know for now is as long as Jim is the way he is (I do like to try and find the good in people even when they are wrong) I will make sure to tell anyone I know that is thinking of joining him in business, doing deals with, or going to his seminar to stay away and don’t bite. Find someone who will have your best interest in mind and want to work with you to make YOU better at real estate deals, and as of now Jim Shead isn’t one of those people.
Any area Jim goes into, and no I am not Jim, but I do work with him, we establish a fully supported infrastructure. Is it perfect, no it is not - and that's one of the first things we tell people.
We initially tried to work with a local REIA in Charleston who promised they could bring people to events. They couldn't. Then when their keynote speaker cancelled at the last minute they begged Jim to bail them out and promised a certain number of registrations. He did, and they lied. We even ran another event with them where they promised they could put people in a room - they lied again. They then asked us to run our own event and prove we knew what we were doing when it came to marketing. We put over 70 people in that room and donated all the proceeds to charity - Clause for Cause - which pissed them off immensely. Since then we were encouraged to go out on our own - which we never planned to do, and were repeatedly slandered by the REIA and Duncan Weirman - who has a pretty bad rep himself. Don't believe me - google him.
Does Jim promote internationally including Canada - yes he does: https://www.facebook.com/canadianinvestorsassociation?fref=ts There's the link.
Want to come to a meeting and see for yourself? It's free - what have you got to lose?
This is just more signs that you're a scam and you, some how, are always surrounded by other shady people.
Guys; "Jim and Rob" ....of you ever want to Scam anyone again and I bad deals, don't spend a year with someone training them on everything about you. You did that with us. I'm not the only one who has awakened to this. Everyone else seen it, heard it, straight out of both your mouths. Therefore there is no reason to try and lie and mislead or manipulate anyone of us anymore. All of us know what you did.
Here's the deal; you can't go around acting like a skunk without someone catching wind of you." And there is always damage everytime you scam someone of fraud them. This is why Jim has a google alert set up for Jim Shead Scam. He expects this to happen all the time. You got what you got. You will get no more. We all know what you did. You took what you could under false pretenses. Shame on you Both.
Truth... Whoever that is. Is being truthful. Another thing Rob, you brought him to us in Charleston. To believe you were a friend. That's not what friends do.
Also, what you say above is false, without the list we gave for a JV, you had roughly 15 people in a room of 70. And the reason why they came out to see Jim, was because he was a new flavor. People like new things. Period. It wasn't because we don't know how to market, or because people don't like me personally, if that was the case, they have other groups in our area to attend. The fact comes down to you guys had no clue other than social networking, which is what you do for Jim. And you aren't good enough to fill a room. Neither is Jim. Here lies the problem for you two as an organization. Men other of you know how to fill a room. Therefore you must scam
Producers of events Just like Jim scammed you as a producer up in Canada. I love his famous words he likes to say when he tells that story about meeting you. The quote should have alarmed us from the beginning. "You know I'm about to [***] you right?" Jim is notorious for saying this quote. Also, Jason's comment earlier about another Jim Shead quote is true as well. Jim's other quote: "you have to sell your mother to be a speaker" was the true quote. It had nothing to do with any reia other than he used that quite to belittle our newer speakers to make them believe they could t do it on their own. It was a terribly suppressive comment that Jim uses on people. Just like he said earlier in a post that "people do t like Robert" ...as if that has any bearing on anything.
Bottom line, you can't trust anything that he says. He talks about people using fake profile but let me assure you, Rob, you are certainly to Biff, Buff, air anything close to that. You follow around Jim like a lost dog. Go rent the movie called: D-Train with Jack Black. This is a perfect case study for you. You are essentially Jack Blacks character.
I also contacted Tony Larsen and he refused to refund me my money but offered to sell me a house and "deduct the $5k off the price". Yeah right!
