I did not approve any kind of billing or payment for this company.  I have contacted my bank to halt the process of billing our account for this supposed purchase.  This needs to be reversed and deleted.

        Yeah it’s for ancestry. I clicked on the link and got 2 free weeks free then they charged me

      I just happened to me also. $74.90. I called the 877 number and was put on hold but I couldn't stay cause I had a ride picking me up so I will try calling again in a little while

    I received the same charge of $74.90 even though I had been put down as a “non-subscriber” on the website, this needs to be disputed and returned to my account.

    I've received a charge of $74.90 USD -  I don't know what this is for  -  I need to know as it has come out of my credit card.

    Same charge for me in January 2019.   This is some type of scam run by Ancestry.com to bilk extra money from unsuspecting subscribers.  If you signed up to receive any archived newspaper articles online, the fine print gives them the ability to bill you this.   Maybe legal, but a scam none the less.  My advice is NEVER sign up for anything on Ancestry.

    The ANC Newspaper charge is a fraud and I found it necessary to notify my credit card company and request a new card. It is obvious from the above complaints, many other people are being victimized as well.

    The ANC Newspaper charge is a fraud and I have notified my credit card company and requested a new card. It is obvious from the above complaints, many other people are being victimized as well.

    This started happening to me too. They keep trying to bill a bank account that has been closed!
