I did not approve any kind of billing or payment for this company.  I have contacted my bank to halt the process of billing our account for this supposed purchase.  This needs to be reversed and deleted.

    The ANC Newspaper charge is a fraud and I found it necessary to notify my credit card company to block them from further charges.

      Did u get ur $ back??? I just got a bank statement n they took out 139.69. the bank told me to call and newspaper but I'm getting vm.

    I never authorized or was aware of an automatic payment $74.90.  I was inconvenienced to call and reverse an unauthorized charge. Makes me wonder how many people oversighted this charge.

    I was billed twice using a credit card that had expired.  Notifying my bank as to why the charges were allowed to go through.

    I did not approve a charge at $74.90. I have called and spoken with ancestry. They were no help. I called 1-877-519-0129. I have left 3 recordings and with a promise of reporting to BBB  CALLING BANK TO  dispute

    I'm now dealing with the same problem. Why did I get charged 74.90 and never have I inquired about ancestry. Com but another question maybe more important is how in the hell did you get my information? Ancestry.com can not be a legit, trustworthy company being you allow this to happen so often.
    I need my money back.
    I need someone to contact me ASAP....better yet. I'll start my calls in less than 8 hours to start my refund process...sad to know the other post have no positive remarks in regards to refunds so I hope like hell that is fixed by now

    Someone bill my account after I paid my Entergy acct... 74.90... anc...newspapers....I DON'T know what the hell or how they hacked my account...06/11/2019.

    I had the same random charge pending from newspapers.com for $74.90 . I looked into my ancestry.com account and I did not have a subscription there for newspapers.com through them. However, as it turns out, I did for newspapers.com. (I had to change the password, which was easy to do with my email) once you do that, you’re in. Go to Account > Subscriptions > Cancel Subscription & Refund Charge . It even gives you a Confirmation Number.

    I also got a charge of $74.90. Interestingly, I just got a new credit card and credit card number (because I lost my old card) 2 months ago so I have no idea how they got my credit card info.

    Today I received bill from Master Card for gas purchases and also listed was 74.90 charge for "ANC*NEWSPAPERS.COM. I called M.C. indicating I had never heard of this company & certainly hadn't bought anything from them. ...they said I've have to call ANC & get them to remove the charge. I called the number listed by the charge(877-519-0129) & they said they were FRONTIER.COM. & had no record of me. SCAM is right..so has anyone had success in dealing with this fiasco???

    I never authorized this transaction, called my bank and was told it could not be reversed ,  had to open a fraud case and my card had to be cancelled. What an inconvenience!!

    I had this happening to me today - $59.90...I contacted my back...hoping it is resolved.

    I was charge also.  After I looked at the add a guy called me. I told him I wasn't interested at this time. When he called and asked if this was Kimberly,  I said yes, and I've heard you aren't supposed to say yes they will record that and claim you said yes to wanting their service.

    I got the same charge on my Credit Card also for the equivalent in Philippine Peso of $74.90. what are we supposed to do?

    Just go charged from my debit card. Never authorized this, called customer service to busy with other customers, ha, what a way, leave a voice message, yes, like they are going to call back. What an awful company to screw people like this during times we are all going through.

    I did not approve this card and contacted my bank and going to call the shieff's department and report  this company or what ever it is.
