My bass player was ripped off by Star Sounds. Its a good thing this house of crooks is being busted.
Hello everyone,
I've decided to take the initiative and do something about Steve Leflar and Star Sounds Productions. He has quite simply taken advantage of the bands and entertainers that he claims to represent as well as his fellow agents.
He thinks he can play loose with all of us, asking us to accept jobs and then 1) not paying for our efforts and 2) disregarding the lawful commission allowed for services and finally, feeling that he is excempt for the requirement of securing a license as required by the California State Labor Commission.
I'm again asking for your help ... not for me ... I already have judgements against him. I am asking for all of us to act in concert and take the initiative and file grievances with the California State Labor Commissions.
I have called the Labor Commission and received complaint forms and have filled them out. Here's what I'm asking you to do...
1) Send me your address and I'll forward blank copies to you
Your job is to:
1) Fill out the papers (I'll send copies of my complaint so that you can see how they are to be made out)
2) Print one copy
3) Send them to me. Iwillprint the 4 copies requested and take them to the labor board asking for a hearing
I will ask for one hearing date so that we can jointly appear
I will have all our complaints served on him at the same time.
That;s it ... let the chips fall ...
I look forward to your feedback both pro and against.
Thanks so much in advance,
Gig

Please consider the environment before printing this e-mail. Ask yourself whether you really need a hard copy!
I am now urging my band to sue Leflar.
Leflar keeps trying to smear Thomas, but has a hard time explaining why he owes Kieth Jackson, Mood Swing Orchestra, AEC, David Martin's House Party and Pride and Joy all within the last 3 months. Why is Steve Leflar listed as DBA North Bay Entertainment since March 2008?
Looks like Leflar is using cyber tactics to hide the fact that he is a thief.
It looks like only you and Eric are the ones being sued. I hope City Lights joins in and we get our long overdue money!
ou mention Randy Harris. I looked him up and this guy has a felony record.
Nice choice of people you associate with.

Hello Thomas,
So far everything seems to going pretty smooth with the transition of ownership of North Bay Entertainment to me.
What are your thoughts concerning notifying the venues? I know you have some very strong relationships in the market.
I don't want to take up to much of your time since you are somewhat of a Global person these days with all your ventures.

Hi Thomas,
When I was still married I put my personal property in my mothers name so my ex wife couldn’t get it when we divorced. My mother passed away. I went through probate etc. Hired an attorney for the probate. The property went back to me and I sold her house etc and settled with my family. I paid all the taxes along with all the expenses. The title should’ve returned back into my name. Obviously it didn’t. Her name was still on it. I just found out today what was still holding it up as you can see below. I am doing all I can.
I know the medical bills are tough. When I gave you the $20k out of my safe, that was my living money. I’ve only worked three events this whole year. That’s a total income of $2450.00 in three months. I’m in a bad situation myself. I never thought it would take this long. Since the sub prime loans, money is very tight and extremely hard to get. The bank has approved everything. It’s out of there hands at this point. The title company has to get the title straight before escrow will close and they are trying. It’s the attorneys fault for not following through when my mother passed away.
The first quarter at the studio is always a drain. It’s when we bid on contracts for the year. Therefore we use the company line of credit. As I told you before it takes both Pat & myself to draw on the line with a reason why before the bank releases funds. We’ve already used a good portion for operating expenses. I have every intention on pulling temp money from that account. Pat isn’t in town. He’s in Philadelphia in meetings.
I don’t know what else to do. I have a total of $5000.00 in all of my accounts before I pay any bills.
Do you have any ideas? I'm open.

It was a Star Sounds Productions gig, so dont try and blame other people
This gig was December 4th 2009 and its under Star Sounds Productions.
Your website can't hide the real facts. You are a thief.Quit blaming Gig and Thomas and all the bands. Face the facts. You made false promises, lied to me and stole form me.
When a guy goes this far to tell everyone he is not lying, he's lying
All you seem to do is blame Thomas and Gig. Cant you just step up and be a man?

Hi Fenella,
I was told you would have every thing finished by March 7, 2008 and deposited funds in my account.
Today is March 10, 2008 and no funds. I know you were waiting for the County Recorders Office to post. I checked this morning and found it was posted Friday.
I need to know exactly when I can receive the funds. This has been a very tiresome process with bad information back and forth. No [***] involved just the facts.
I have been a long time customer with Wells Fargo and would like to continue, however I don’t have time for the runaround. I’ve left three messages today and no call back.
GET THIS DONE NOW AND GET BACK TO ME !!!!!!!!!!!
