I recently spoke with someone named Dan Ferguson at Allied Auto Warranty.  In his emails to me he claimed that he was a "Certified Auto Service Contract Specialist."
I had asked him to provide any proof of certification.  I needed to be sure that the company was ligitiment and not just out to steal my money.

Apparently, asking for someone's credentials is frowned upon now a days.  As soon as he received my request for proof, it turned ugly.  Dan at Allied Auto Warranty went forward and started to curse at me.  He stated that I was "wasting his time." and that if I "don't plan on purchasing,", I should stop emailing him and asking for information.

Almost fell for Allied Auto Warranty
I had a similiar run in with Dan Ferguson..he insulted me on the phone when I questioned him and continued via email.  I checked with the BBB, there is NO rating, it says they are investigating this company.  I did a 'whois' lookup on the site alliedautowarranty.com and it was only registered in August of 2012, How could the service thousand of customers in only 4 months?  Clearly a scam.

I had requested a quote via the internet and bought from another company that was polite on the phone, gave me their info and sent me a copy of what they offered.  Avoid Allied Auto Warranty, there are many reputable companies to do business with.

The same thing happened to me!  I got an email advertisement, requested more info, spoke with Dan on the phone, at first he was nice, then he said the plans were with Mercury Insurance, I had him send me a listing of waht was covered, it said a different company name so I called Mercury Insurance directly.  They said Allied had nothing to do with them and did NOT resell their mechanical breakdown insurance policies.  I asked what they had available, their policy covered MUCH more and was even a little less money.  I signed up with them  Dan had sent me another email so I told him I went with Mercury, he responded with they don't offer payments, (which the did) and that I couldn't afford $299.00 down which I NEVER said and then he added a 'good luck with that'.  Not only and I glad I did NOT go with Allied but after reading this, I see it wasn't just me.  The bottom line is they are no good, dishonest and rude.

That is funny Jim, I have a mercury policy (and have used it) that Allied Auto Warranty signed me up with. Had no problems and think you may be making a "mountain out of a mole hill". I really find this forum funny, is it a Dan haters club, or are you trying to besmirch a company because of personal reasons.

This is obviously a competitor trying to discredit a company and then sending people to his or her company.

      Dear Jane:

Clearly you are not an employee of Direct Buy Warranty...give me a break!

I dealt with Dan directly and he was nothing but helpful.  It would appear that most of these "posts" are probably competitors simply trying to discredit a quality organization.

The above (Johnny Ramon) sounds like it is someone at Allied Auto Warranty trying to make up for their complaints.  Here is the ORIGINAL email...anyone who wants me to FORWARD this to them for PROOF, ask.  Dan Ferguson MISREPRESENTED himself as offering Mercury Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, I called MErcury directly, they offered much more coverage for less money...Dan got rude with me when I told him I wanted to go with Mercury:

    Dear Jim:

They don’t offer payments and you couldn’t afford $299 down, but good luck with that.

    Sincerely,

    Dan Ferguson

Wow....They do offer Mercury Mechanical Breakdown Insurance....I have it. It is Mercury's True Value Protection policy, Allied Auto Warranty helped me just fine. Just believe in being fair, and ran across this while doing my due diligence.

So, let me get this straight..you believe in being fair and decided to do some 'due diligencce' a year after you claim to have purchased a policy.  Were you just so bored you decided to do a search on the Internet to see who was talking badly about poor Dax Ferguson?  Come on, already!!  Cut the crap Dax or whichever one of your friends or current employees this is.

Please take the time to read the policy in it’s entirety.  It is absolutely underwritten by Mercury.

Clearly you can see MY email address if you would like to contact me further, secondly I am not a competitor, just a potential customer who went elsewhere because Dan was rude on the phone and lied about his coverage.  Period end of story!

After reading this post full of both lies and untruths I did a simple Google search of both the email address and the phone number Mr, Jim Madison provided us at the time of application.  His phone number brought up the following ad:

    Posting ID :  #1011568549

This positions pays $12.00 per hour. Must be available to start immediatly.

Upon calling the other number referenced in the ad, the 954-358-4870 I found out this is actually another auto warranty company with a literal slew of complaints.  The name of the company is Nationwide Auto Guard out of Fort Lauderdale Florida "aka" AutoGuard.

A link to this actual webpage can be found here, however I am sure once this post is actually published this ad will probably be pulled.  http://www.pandahi.com/1011568549.html

The 954-358-4870 number can also be searched on Craig's list in Florida jobs as well.  The 954-225-4058 is Mr. Madison's number.

It is a shame that a competitor would stoop so low to discredit an honest person and company.  It doesn't make a lot of sense to purchase a warranty thru another company when you sell them yourself, does it?

I got a warranty through Allied Auto warranty and they were very helpful when i signed up. Yes, the process was quick and easy and within my budget. It was all done through my e mail and for that Im grateful, as a single mother that works full time I did not have time to spend dragging out an auto warranty process. and since then I have used my policy and thanking my lucky stars i got a warranty though them.

I kept receiving calls from 850-780-3478 and the person keeps hanging up. When I called them back they kept hanging up on me until I called them from a different phone number. Then they answered and said the company name Allied Auto Warrantee. I have already several times told this company several times to remove my number and not to call me. So now the keep calling and hanging up. All they do is harass people if you don't buy their insurance. This company needs to be prosecuted for harassment and lose their business license and pay restitution for the mental distress they cause.

You are complaining on the wrong company.  The company that has been  calling you is Allied American Warranty out of Miami, Florida according to the number they called you from.

This person is now going by Dax, and attempting to sell craigslist ads for a company call smalladmedia.  When asked questions about the service or company he becomes very irate, or just hangs up. Beware of this person.
