I think this is funny. Want to discuss my account. I am not with Chase. Never have been. In 2006, I cut up and paid off all of my cards and have used my debit card for everything since. BYE BYE scammers, not falling for it.

Same idiots, been calling here for 2 years phishing for credit card information. These idiots know I don’t have a credit card but still call anyway spoofing and phishing. I guess these idiots don’t have very many number to keep calling me.Funny thing I run a business out of my home and they still call even when I answer with the name of my business. Takes all kinds these nasty people from India have even got vulgar with me when I asked to be removed from their list. Very stupid people.

These people are scam artists, phishing for credit card information and other personal information such as name and social security numbers. Do not give them any information. Get registered on the do not call list and if these scam artists continue to call after 31 days you can report them to the Federal Trade Commission. It’s illegal for them to call you so be sure to report them. Let the Feds deal with them, fine them and make them stop.

The Feds can't do anything about a company in India scamming people in the U.S.

The donotcall registry doesn't work any more.  Even if you are on the registry which I have been for over 15 years, and have re-registered every year, nothing happens.  Even if you give them a number, nothing happens.  These scammers have fake numbers.  Most are out of the country and the FCC won't do anything about that.  Some of the numbers list a real business, for instance the Joint and Bone Clinic, which is real in our area, but it was a scammer.  Many of the numbers, if you try to call them back, won't even go through or you'll get an error message.      The only thing we consumers can do is harass them, not answer, or hang up.  Wish we could do more.

They called 4 times yesterday within a 2 minute time frame. At least I have NOMOROBO and the phone only rings once before they are transferred to NOMOROBO. They called twice today within an hour. Nice of xfinity to have an online call history for my account. Don't have to deal with them. The bad news is I get from 6-10 robocalls a day on the home phone. They are supposed to do something about having the phone companies verifying calls by January 2019, but everyone needs to use the software. I have the feeling it won't do any good because the overseas phone companies don't have to subscribe to this, which will still let through the SCAMMERS from India. ;-(

Agree with Glenn, just search nomorobo online and set up for your home phone only.  Rings only once. Number shows on TV screen.  Even getting the disturbance of that one ring still erks, but quickly eased by feeling of success provided by getting even using nomorobo!

Caller ID stated: 11/12/18, 10:28 AM, Chase Card Svcs, 800-945-2000. I didn't pick up the phone because I found this site while they were calling. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. They have to be getting desperate since they have to call multiple times a day. Must mean they are not getting many people hooked. These Scam [***] Need to Die! I enjoyed your phone call rendition. Could be made into a comedy routine.

I asked the Indian guy which card he was referring about lowering. He asked if I was wasting his time. I reminded him that he called me. Then he blew up, cursing at me and said he wanted to F@&$ my mother!  Wow

OK, so here's the deal with this number:  It IS a real Chase number, however it is ALSO a popular number to spoof for scammers.  So if you call this number, you will legitimately get Chase.

HOWEVER, if you receive a call from this (or any) number claiming to be Chase, ask what they need and call Chase back at the number on the back of your card to see if it is really them calling you.  Never give personal information to incoming calls, ALWAYS call back on a number you're 100% sure of.

This is a scam from people with indian accents using Chase's inbound number. Chase cannot call out on this number and can only receive calls from this number. I confirmed this with Chase. If you receive a call from this number do not give out any personal information. Or they might ask for a hug.

Definitely a scam. They do robocalls in which they do not identify who they are with. Exact same wording as credit card scam calls from many different numbers. Legitimate callers identify who they are. They just say they are calling about "your credit card account" while any legitimate company would identify the specific account. They have no idea what accounts you have. They are just hoping that you will take the bait.
