I think this is funny. Want to discuss my account. I am not with Chase. Never have been. In 2006, I cut up and paid off all of my cards and have used my debit card for everything since. BYE BYE scammers, not falling for it.

    Idiots
I get these calls all of the time. The last time I answered it, I hit 1 to talk to someone. The guy came on the line and said he was calling about my credit card but not to worry because there is no issue. I asked him which credit card and he said "Chase, um I mean Capital One." Scammer hung up when I said I don't have either one of those. I love wasting their time :)

    Credit Card Scam
Another credit card scam call.  Very bad computer-generated automated message.  Get 0% rate on your credit card.  Press 1.

Yeah, they may be stupid but they wouldn't be in business unless they find others more stupid than they are, which they obviously do. Lol

Ditto Laurie above! Stranger danger. They called, they don't leave a message. Have an "official" 800- looking number so they can try to trick you into answering it. Lousy scammers, go away!!

I do not think a bank would call without the bank's name on caller id.; and then, I would not now, anyway.
I do not answer calls that I do not know who it is,.
    They can leave a message.
Anyway, now they can, and have called my home with my home phone number on the I D. , like I am calling myself. This is awful!

Got the same call but a different number. I have told them I don't use a credit card but that doesn't stop the calls.
I actually have quite using credit cards because of others using my #. And hate the problems.  I don't use my
computer or phone for any personal business.  I am still swamped with the scammers.

They have called on both the house phone and my cell phone.  SCAMMER.  Hopefully, someday they will be caught and provided "3 hots and a cot" for the next decade.

    Not Fallng For It
They call me multiple times a week for the last year.  I've started just playing along with them.

Blah, blah....My debt is $6,000, highest on Visa.  Then they ask for the credit card expiration and number.  I make up numbers and somehow they confirm it's not valid.  When I tell them I'm not stupid and to stop calling they start calling me names and swearing at me.  Clearly a legit practice.  Haha.

What puzzles me, is how can these international crooks consistently escape law enforcement for many years?!
They potentially financially damage both individuals and companies in US.

They just called my house and I asked who he was looking for and he replied "you", i said "who am I?" and how do you know it is me you are looking for? He went on, and I asked which credit card # he was calling about and he said the one that starts with 4. I asked what name is on the account and he said "yours".
Haha i had this guy scrambling for a few minutes, I was asking HIM all kinds of questions he couldn't answer, until i yelled at him by telling him he had no idea who he was looking for, just a sucker to fall for his scam. He assured me it wasn't and i finally told him i had no credit card with Chase. He said maybe it was a good idea if he took me off of the call list, i said that was a great idea and hung up on him.

    Confirmed Scam.
Received a missed call from this number, didn't answer and no voicemail left. Googled the number and decided to call back after reading the reviews. A representative from Chase answered and I explained that I had received a call from this number and wanted to make sure it wasn't a scam. Representative did not ask for any identifying information but did confirm this number is only an inbound call number and you should never receive a call from this phone number. Confirmed fraudulent activity with phone number spoofing and advised to block this number.

Got a call from this number - caller ID said "Chase"....but no message left - which means it is definitely someone spoofing the number and name. Good advice to everyone is NEVER give out personal information to someone who calls you.... I strongly recommend if you EVER get a call from someone claiming to be with your credit card (even if it's someone claiming their is suspected fraud on your account) tell the person you will call them back at the that is on the back of your card or on your statement. It might take a bit more time, but then you can know for certain if the call was legit.

My phone rang today while I was getting my haircut. When I was done I looked at it and it said Chase Card Services. For a moment I thought it was legit because I just activated my replacement debit card this morning. So I called the number and it asked to either input my credit card number or a menu which give me choices of checking on the status of my application. No matter whether I said speak to a representative or pushed 0, I could not get a live person. Very unlike Chase because anytime I've ever called them, I've always gotten a human being within 30 seconds. So I pulled my debit card out and called the number on the back of it. The person I spoke to said this is not a Chase phone number. I shared it with a couple of friends and one of them told me that from what she has been able to find, it does seem to be a valid Chase phone number. I have been finding mixed stories on that. There are number of sites I just found it say it is a valid number, but then I come across posts like this. Either way I will never respond to a call from that number again.

This is a scam.  I told him I was working with the AG’s office and he was being arrested for false misrepresentation.  Don’t fall for it.  Remember they can change the number on caller ID and it show up as a legit number.  Why can’t legislation be passed to make phone companies disconnect numbers of those who are scammers?

    Bright Idea
When telephone carriers stop allowing calls with SPOOFED CALLER ID through, these calls will cease. There was no spoofing on copper wire (POTS lines) back in the 80's & 90's. Only when "VOIP" service was developed did this technical loophole rear its ugly head. Today's telecom carriers are in on this big time. They make money routing the calls. It's time to boycott all ISP's and telephone carriers who permit falsified caller id. STOP SPOOFING NOW!
