There was an automatic bank withdrawal to this company that I did not authorize. I do not know how they know my banking acct. BUT I want my money reimbursed and this to stop immediately or I will sue this company for theft. I was a member of AOL over a year ago it took me forever to take me off their accts. and stop withdrawals. Now I have to call the bank. This is not right. This is THEFT.

I checked my statements post a confirmed cancellation in March of 2007.  Charges disappeared for a period of months and then reoccurred in 2008 and 2009.  I am currently disputing charges.  Using a debit or bank card is not
a good idea for these transactions.

I have cancelled this same account at least twice in 2007.  I am submitting
another cancellation request or confirmation.  And will follow up with a
    cease and desist.

I just got a call today from aol, they told me my account is 5 month overdue. And that I owe them $190.00 that was going to be turned over to collections. I have not used aol since 2003. I did use a free month of service and then cancelled it before the month was up. So I started looking at my bank statments and found out that they have been taking $25.90 a month out of my bank account since 2004 That is five years they have been stealing from me and my family. I dont even want to do the math, It would make me to mad. I am going to do every thing I can to stop this theft I will call my lawyer tomorrow!

If you or any body else that's having this fraudulent problem like myself,
here is a toll free number to get your refund. It may take sometime which
I feel that it did not take them but a few hours to deduct it from your account. They will send you an affividavit and read it carefully, sign it
    and mail it back as quick as possible. Here it is: AOL Fraud Department;
    1-800-307-7969.

Go to your bank and report that your card has been lost or stolen and file a complaint with your Bank Institution against these unauthorized charges.
Show the bank the unauthorized charges if you have any statements regarding those charges. Whatever those charges are the bank should pull up your account to view those unauthorized charges. If you have unauthorized charges fron AOL, here is a number to call@ AOL Fraud DEPT.@
1-800-307-7969 Mon thru Fri. between the hours of 10PM to 7PM.

Like I have suggested with others and like myself. Call this number @
the AOL Fraud Department whereas the number is: 1-800-307-7969. If that doesn't work or if you do not receive an affividavit to fill out against these fraudulent charges, then go to your Bank Institution and file a claim
    of UNAUTHORIZED Charles. Good Luck.

This shxt has nothing to do w/using AOL services. It is also happening to European card holders. Simple credit card fraud. Is AOL buying hacked credit card data to steal unknowing people?

Over a 13 month period $420.00 was taken from my debit card account.  I did not have an AOL account.  I called the AOL Fraud Department at 1-800-307-7969 and a rep sent me a "Fraud Affidavit" to fill out and stopped the automatic AOL payments.  The affidavit requested copies of my statements of AOL withdrawals.  I faxed the statements along with the Affidavit and the $420.00 was deposited into my account within a week. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised at the speedy recovery of my money.

P.S. I will keep a closer watch on my bank statements from now on.
