There was an automatic bank withdrawal to this company that I did not authorize. I do not know how they know my banking acct. BUT I want my money reimbursed and this to stop immediately or I will sue this company for theft. I was a member of AOL over a year ago it took me forever to take me off their accts. and stop withdrawals. Now I have to call the bank. This is not right. This is THEFT.

I discovered a monthly $25.09 withdrawal against my bankcard starting 18 months ago from TSX*AOL. They state it is for dial-up service and has never been used. I closed by bank acct. The bank will refund two months. AOL rep was sympathetic, took info, stated they would close acct. I will call fraud dept tomorrow 800-307-7969, open M-F from 10 am to 7 Pm central time. I use broadband through my cable provider

I've just noticed that I've been being scammed for nearly a year worth of 32.90 billings to my checking account.  It went unnoticed because of the low amount and the statement definition was to sparse.  Only clue I had was the keyword AOL*Service.  Using a browser I found a phone number, call them, and they told me that I was paying for internet dial-up.  I flipped because that is more than I pay for my broadband service.  I don't remember the last time I had a computer/laptop that had phone dial-up capability.   With wi-fi who uses that.  That's why the police, the FBI, the Congress should be all over these guys.  Doesn't take much to know that you are billing someone for a never used service.  Come on congressional committee...

AOL withdrew charges from my bank account beginning July 2004.  I filled out the fraud claim form and received reimbursement starting at November 2005.  The company has some sort of arbitary cut off date of November 2005, and will not reimbursement for 462.40 in unauthorized charges prior to that date.  They will not identify where their call center is, since it sounds as though customer service reps are in another country.  Any idea's?

I just had AOL pull 77 dollar off of my card. I've never had service with them in all of my life.  I filed a complaint like PP said to do, and I think anyone else who has a problem with them should follow suit. Outrageous!

I just realized that this TWX AOL has a long history. Does anyone have any way of resolving this? I would be glad to know! Can the CC company block payment?

Aol has been taking over $40/month out of my checking account for over 9 years now for a fraudulent account I never started. I've never even owned a computer. I am a single, employed widow with 4 children that I care for, as well as my brother who is a paraplegic and my mother who suffers from alzheimers. I have tried repeatedly through my bank to have the withdrawals stopped, to no avail. Have also attempted to cancel said fraudulent account several times.......unsuccessfully.  This may be a small amount to some of you, as it was to me some 8 years ago when this began. But now we are looking at over $5000!! This is plain old theft and if I did it, I'd  would have to be judged and punished for it. AOL evil infidels from the pits of Hell, you too will someday reap what you sow

Complaints about AOL helping themselves to your bank accounts have been submitted to this site for over NINE years and nothing has changed!  What it did accomplish is to
document a long history of AOL making unauthorized withdrawals from your accounts.
if your having problems with the fraud depth at your bank reversing ALL of the charges that you incurred because they didn't catch it, make a copy of all the complaints on this site and submit it as proof of fraud.
