Harrassing Phone Calls

Someone from the Home Center calls every day to ask me to hire them for home improvement.  When I request that they take me off their list and do not call us again they scoff, make snide comments and hang up.  It is the same thing the next day.  How do we make them stop calling?  They don't seem to be a legit home improvement company and the number that appears does not have a way to reply to it.

Had the same issue, called everyday sometimes twice a day.  I asked nicely to be removed from their list with no avail. Finally had enough and asked for them to come give an estimate. When the supposed contractor showed up I got a business card then asked who this home center is. They said it was a marketing company. Told them the only reason they we standing in my driveway right now is because I wanted someone in person to voice my displeasure to and my home security now sees them and their vehicle. Told them now I have this information I am filing a complaint. The guy said he will make the sales calls stop. It actually work and the calls stopped. Now I'm receiving calls from these same butt holes on my cell. I have another appointment scheduled for today at 1. Hope they are glad to see me.

these people make me nuts. I get calls from them on my cell every day. I've had 3 already today and it's not even noon!!! I usually let them start their speech, put the call on mute, and just set the phone down. At least then I waste their time a bit.

Someone called me from The Home Center a year ago.  I did need my house painted so I scheduled an appointment.  I waited the 2 hour window then had to be somewhere, so I  left, with a note on the door telling them to stop bothering me, I had wasted my time and never to call back.  I had tried to call back the number they gave me and it went to a generic voicemail of what sounded like some guy. Then I went to the website and there is no phone number and no address.  It's a phony mock website.  Someone called me back a week later trying to sell me on the service again and I explained what happened, but he was combative and nasty.  I said to never call me again but they have different people call for the past year, all from different numbers and area codes.  Today I finally told the lady who called that I was filing a complaint with the BBB and to tell her boss. If anyone here has an address, please post it here so we can all file complaints with the BBB.

You can't, they already have your address.  In fact, when I told a caller just a few minutes ago that I was reporting their company, he read my address off and told me someone would come by and hung up.  I've been telling them the house was for sale, usually that stops the calls, but this company is horrendous.  We need to all report them to the BBB.

My particular evil pleasure lately is to say to he caller that I am interested in building a room addition on to my house.  After letting the caller get a bit excited I mention that I did not catch the name of the company he is calling from and to give to me again.  When he says it the Home Center I explain that I can not use them sadly, I have already used up my Scamming Money for the month but good luck cheating other people.  They mostly tell I'm stupid and usually much much worse.  When marketers resort to profanity I feel like I have won the moral battle of proving they are scammers!

The number on my caller ID was 714-497-2520, but probably just an individual cell number. I hung up on the woman and she actually called back and yelled at me! I told her that is no way to get sales and she had the nerve to tell me it wasn't a sales call. I called her a liar and she totally lost it. It was laughable.

They mirror off other phone numbers that. Basically they make some poor random persons number appear on your phone. The scammers that call me appears as though from Paradise Ca, but they are not. Sorry to say, you probably pissed off an innocent woman, oops.
