Receiving calls telling me to call 855-430-6762 and given a complaint number. These people state that a certified document has been sent to me and returned as undeliverable and that I am to appear in court on a specific date, but I contacted the Court in the county where I live and no such information on me or for me even to appear in court. These people need to be stopped! I reported all information to the FTC and the Attorney General.

These are scams when: they tell you to settle would cost less than going to court, they have no info on the original purchase, the supposed bill is several years old and you haven't recv'd any snail mail prior to this, they won't snail mail you the info now, they become hostile & offensive, you have no recall of any charge according to the info they give you, you are not someone who doesn't pay your bills ... and when you feel confused, or you're suspicious. And, if it feels wrong they are prob not legit. Never let them scare you.

S & O Mediators has been contacting me since 26 Jan stating I owe a dept since '05. The letterhead, that I DLd says Stanley O'Connell & Counsil. That company doesn't exist. I called the creditors to make sure I didn't owe. No record of me having an acct. They've called me from 5 different numbers and a Private number. Aaaand, txtd a family member. Wouldn't send proof of having the acct. Said I had to go to the courts to obtain the paperwork and pay all the fees. They're using DocuSign to collect. Got to figure out how I'm going to report this. So, be careful. They're kinda slick.

I received a call from a woman named Katy Smith from Arc Mediations about a payday loan I supposedly took out in 2014. Said she would come to my house the next day to drop of papers and if I wasnt there it would be reported as refused to sign or declined signature. She never showed up and im still waiting to see what this Katy looks like. told me to call (833) 823-8611 and I did. They refused to give me the name of the payday loan place, the name of some attorney if  there is one. They had my fathers old address. The name of a company I never worked at, the last four of my social, a loan amount of 1,262 dollars but said i could settle it for just 750 but never said who I would be giving the 750 to if I paid it. (I didnt pay it). I've called back several times to find out as much information as i can. Looked up the phone number it's saying it cant be found, they have no website. I told the man this on the phone and he yelled at me and hung up. He was very rude. Anyone else get a call from this number?

I received a phone call from (760) 495-4095 on 05/18/2022 from Nicole Allen. She said her Company name is Pinnacle Meditation. She was calling to collect $1399.00 that I was supposed to owe to Mobi Loans. When I call back, I was given Case file # xxxxxxxx and to call back (833) 741-3530 to make payments via a credit or debit card only. I was told by Nicole Allen I will be sued if I don't pay that amount immediately. I requested she send me a bill or invoice to validate the debt, she said the company do not send out such documents. She insists i made the payments without even seen a document of who I owed the money too. This is a scam, that most people could fall victim too.

This is a scam they left the same sort of message on my voice mail, they don't even use my name, and all my bills are paid on time so I know I do not have anything to worry about.  I reported them.  I hope they are caught and shut down soon and go to prison.

If they call again they are recording your call, tell them immediately! "ALL RIGHTS RESERVED WITHOUT PREJUDICE and WITHOUT RECOURSE".  Also tell them to put everything they are alleging in writing and send it to you since they allegedly have all your information.  You want ALL  documents with signature evidence on the alleged contract along with any and all assignment(s)!  They are violating the FDCPA Section 1692 by even alleging, they are affilated with a lawfirm and THREATENING to take any legal action for an old debt that the statute of limitations probably no longer applies -- check your states laws for the statute of limitations for a contract!  They bought the alleged debt for pennies in the dollar and are trying to come back and make money.  Stand your ground with crooks.

my mother received a call from 833-785-6253 stating she was from Mediation Department, and it was in regard to my brother..... downfall is my brother had passed away 8 years ago so my mother had me call to find out what was going on and upon calling the lady was very ignorant and proceeded to tell me that my brother was part of a petition and that they had multiple mail sent back to them and that the matter was of importance as they were going to proceed with wage garnishments and that there was a court case etc. I then asked them what the legal matter was and they told me they couldn't go into detail as it was a legal matter etc. so then I asked when this all had occurred and they again told me that they couldn't go into detail, so I then told them that my brother had passed away and she again got ignorant and asked when and I told her it was over 8 years ago and she was pissy and told me that someone else must have took his identity etc. and when I said it was impossible she got pissy again I again told her that this was a scam she got very ignorant and told me that she would mark the computer as he was deceased and then hung up on me. Some people are ridiculous any more now a days. So please people be aware!

The same thing happened to me yesterday from ARS Mediation.  While ARS Mediation IS a legit company, this was NOT who was calling me.  I googled ARS and called them directly and they advised me that this call I was receiving from someone claiming to be them was a scam.  The scammers were on their A game though because they even had a courier call me telling me they'd be delivering paperwork to me today from 12-3.  Courier told me to have 2 forms of ID and a witness available when they deliver it.  I almost fell for it because I was so scared about going to court.  Luckily I did my research and found out differently.  Some people have no conscious I swear.  So glad I didn't give them money.  Oh- and they also had my address, ssn, and dob.  Scary.

I just received the same call.  The number that shows up on my phone is 516-210-0852.  This is in Oyster Bay, NY but the message tells me to call is 239-788-9835 or I can press 1 to "exercise my right" to talk to someone.  What's so funny to me is that this was a voicemail message telling me I can press 1.  Then they give me a reference number to use when I call back.  That already is a huge red flag.   First of all, if you have a court date, you're not notified by phone.   You have to get something in your hands, usually by mail or even served to you in person.  My question is what is the scam?  What do they want you to do when you call?  Give them money?
