I have noticed monthly charges from WC Mon ValuePlus in the amount of $24.95, did not pay much attention to it because I was sure these charges were for gasoline, one of our gas stations has a very similar name therefore all of these charges have been ignored by me, until most recent online statement review it jumped at me because the icon was not as a shopping cart but different then any other.  By opening the transaction data it was revealed as ATM or cash advance charge. Called visa,  the customer service rep contacted the 800 number, I was then informed that about 5 months of charges will be removed from my account. Well, that was on Friday August 08, nothing has changed as of today.  I remember ordering curling iron by viewing ad on TV, it looked impressive, now looking back these charges started to occur since then.  That was in May of 2013.  By now they charged me $374.95. Wonder if any of the money can be recovered.

Thank you

    It's a cramming scam..

They often get consumer account information from "marketing partners", like sleazeball "as seen on TV" infomercial types.

Shouldn't surprise you that they might promise "5 months of refund", but it's just another brush-off.
    That's how these schemes work.

Immediately contact your bank to dispute the charges as fraudulent, and have your bank block your card number or shut down your account to prevent further fraud.  Your bank can reverse charges back 2 to 3 months if you dispute promptly, under FRB Reg. E or FCBA.

For the rest, file fraud complaints with FTC and your state Attorney General.
A letter from your AG might shake loose a refund.

Although the bank dispute periods are 60 days from the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charges, SOL for suing is 1 year.  It was fraud, and they know it.  That's the "business" they are in, and they get lots of AG complaints.  Demand it all back.

Kathleen, just yesterday o was going through my mom (82yr old) Visa statements. Jan, Feb and March statements show this $24.95 charge. I came across your message then.   I called the number on the statement and chose the options to "cancel" I have the confirmation for the cancel. Am planning on calling them tomorrow about the 75.00 already charged.  Would appreciate any input you can provide.  Think I am also calling the Better Business Bureau as well.
Again any info you may be able to provide would be appreciated.
                           Thank You,
                    Marsha Stafford

Me Too! Darn I just found a charge on my statement also. I have to call a company called Medici Quest out of Manteno, IL 60950, and see if they have anything to do with them. Right after I ordered their product, this other issue popped up! Been to my bank and asked them what to do, they said contact them and go from there. I'll do that and see what happens. I know I would not sign up for anything of the sort. My phone number is 607-272-5848 and leave a message between 9 am-9pm. Thanks

I just noticed the $24.95 deductions from my account. They go back to February 5, 2016. I never gave Value Plus my permission to deduct funds from my account nor did I join their membership. I emailed them telling them I demand reimbursement or me and many more victims will start a class action law suit against them. My phone # is 508-934-5159

Lucky I check my bank acct every morning so I caught the very first one.  Knew I had done nothing the day before that would warrant this.  What I did was call my bank...they had no info on it so I went in, filed a wrongful charge report (not sure of the legal name it has).  The bank immediately took the charge down.  Its a pain to have to do that because you have to turn your card in and wait a few days---they send you a new one with new number.  But I was so angry that these idiots can do this I was willing to wait for the new card.  Chances are as you know already they will keep using it if you  don't.  Hope this helps.....

You are not alone.  My 95 year old mother-in-law is being subjected to this.  She just assumed because it showed up on her bill that it was to be paid. Getting nowhere fast with this.

I also overlooked the charge.  I do not. Recall authorizing any membership fee at all.  I was told they would cancel my membership and send me a form to get my three months payment back for a. Total of $74.85

Very interesting. I just came across this when looking up vale plus as they have taken 10 months of 24.95 from my account as well. First didn't pay much attention to it, thinking it might be something I ordered but found out this was in connection with ordering a nutribullet "as seen on TV" after watching a TV commercial. I never agreed to any membership, never received any information on that along with the nutribullet shipment, and would have never seen any connection if it wasn't for them misspelling my name (both nutribullet and value plus).
On the phone value plus promised a quick refund but all I received was a letter confirming that my "membership" was canceled and that the purchase was authorized through me or someone who was authorized by me/cardholder. [***]. Added, I could ask for a review if I send that form back to them but i have no time for games, not in the mood.
I am contacting both value plus and nutribullet (their reputation is on the line here, too if they use value plus call center services, I would say). I demand immediate refund or I will take it to the press & legal route.
I hope that's enough for them to get moving.
