I have noticed monthly charges from WC Mon ValuePlus in the amount of $24.95, did not pay much attention to it because I was sure these charges were for gasoline, one of our gas stations has a very similar name therefore all of these charges have been ignored by me, until most recent online statement review it jumped at me because the icon was not as a shopping cart but different then any other.  By opening the transaction data it was revealed as ATM or cash advance charge. Called visa,  the customer service rep contacted the 800 number, I was then informed that about 5 months of charges will be removed from my account. Well, that was on Friday August 08, nothing has changed as of today.  I remember ordering curling iron by viewing ad on TV, it looked impressive, now looking back these charges started to occur since then.  That was in May of 2013.  By now they charged me $374.95. Wonder if any of the money can be recovered.

Thank you

My 24.95 charge was just noticed this moment.  I had ordered something online from bed  bath and beyond.  Of course no one answered the phone number so angry!  I'll get it straight and will report to the attorney general.

I'm sure this scam is coming from a company selling Nu-wave cook top. I just got their product last month and got charged $59.99 for shipping just for a single box by retaining another shipment that supposed to be included according to their commercial and with all the lie they made on their tv commercial the person I contacted was telling me about the some kind of membership that doesn't really anything to do with the selling program they have. However, I responded the person back that I don't need any  extra thing and I just need the only thing that you are selling on the tv. Even that didn't arrive in its full order. Like any one of you they start charging $24.95 from my credit card. I am writing this because I read one of the victims has wrote about the same product I purchased. This company should take the responsibility. "Nu-wave"

Just noticed these recurring charges of $24.95 on my mother's BoA account.  I called the number, and they identified themselves as "Membership Services".  They say they provide discount services for various stores.  She indicated that her account was just cancelled due to her card not being able to be processed. I also had her give me a cancellation confirmation number.  She then had the audacity to offer me a free cruise!!!!  For those taking care of elderly loved ones, be sure to check their banking accounts regularly.  There are so many companies targeting them and robbing them of their hard-earned retirement funds.

My brother in law recently had to go to a nursing home and we are trying to straighten out his affairs. In going through his credit card statements we discovered a monthly charge of $19.95 from WC MON Value Plus that has been occurring since at least October 2015.. When we called the number on the credit card statement, the person at the other end said the charge was for some kind of service that offered coupons for discounts at local food stores nd other businesses. We cancelled, and just got a confirmation statement of the cancellation which also stated that no refund would be given because "We have confirmed that your purchase of Value Plus was made either by you or an authorized user of the card ending in XXXX." We're going to fil out and  return the form, itemizing all the months the charge has been made, and see if we get anywhere.

It's a cramming scam.  They rely on people missing their small charges long enough that they can keep some of the money.

File fraud complaints through your bank, and block your card number or shut down your account to prevent further charges.  That should get you back 2 to 3 months of charges.

For the rest, file a fraud complaint with your state Attorney General.

I called the company (WC *MON ValuePlus) on my visa statement (800-925-8674 Mn) they told me I approved this charge back in October 2016.  I asked who they were and his response was discounts to hotels, air fares, and other companies I never heard of so I asked to cancel my subscription. They will send a form that will be in the mail 5 business days. Reading everyone's comments I better not hold my breath.  I called my visa company they are closing my account and sent it to the Fraud department and see if they will credit me back to November but not to count on it. Pay attention to your statements and I will tell everyone I know so it does not happen to them.

God. How do all these companies get away with this stuff?  I just found out today that they've been taking out $24.95 out of my MasterCard, for the last three months. I only called for my balance, but when I heard it I went to transactions and they said something about a membership and I said "wait a minute, I don't belong to any membership". Now I have no money, no MasterCard, and a fight on my hands to get it all back. And I have no idea, none at all, how they obtained my bank card number. Your right, they need to be sued. I'm in for any Class Action Suit if anyone wants to join. They are CRIMINALS!

Because you have been charging us a membership fee since Sept. of 2016, I am going to notify the Better Business Bureau and Attorney Generals office. We did not sign up for this membership and you will return our money in full amt. This is a scam and it needs to be stopped. We will do it!

I noticed my bank account has been charged the 24.95 for the last 6 months. I'm going to dispute all the charges but I'm not sure they will go back that far.

Ordering any product from infomercials is extremely risky because of who these companies hire to take their calls. Any number that is called from the tv to order a product or get information is being answered by another company. Credit card information is sold and personal information is sold to a data bank company and as you know, promises are not kept. Every "additional offer, " which is "Free Rewards Plus, " "Magazines, " etc, the company taking the calls for all infomercials benefits financially with these scams. Anyone who have elderly people in their families need to warn them about buying products on infomercials or even calling numbers from the tv, in order to protect them because that is who these companies prey on.
