Calls all the time, says we own a payday loan. WE do not. He says very nasty words to us, threatens up too. I will not repeat on here what he has sad sexual then hangs up.
A David Holmes from 707-278-4083 called me at work and harrassed me about a payday loan and how I needed an attorney and my work was going to know about $300 thru Cash Advance USA - the attorney general in AR ran these folks out of the state several years ago. Upset me to know end!
I recieved a call today from BCI (bureau of investigations) claiming to be located in fort myers, FL called from phone number 1866-893-8482. He said his name Raymond Scott and that i owed from a payday loan from back in January he gave me the last four digits of my account number and last four of my social security i wasnt sure if it was a scam because i know i did one payday loan in the past so i checked my account online while i had him on the phone the date he given me for when the money was deposited, and there was nothing deposited to my account on that day. I hung up on him and he called right back and said i will see who i am messing with when he has his "peoples" hit me with the summons, and i better get an attorney to represent me. what a bunch of crap!!! im glad i didnt fall for this scam!
I received a call today from BCI (bureau of investigations) claiming to be located in FL from Raymond Scott at 888-683-9683. He said that I owed money from a payday loan in January he gave me the last 4 digits of social sercuity but he can verify when the money deposit in my account. I never take out a loan from cash Advanced America berfore. He can not verify the account number and he said he will mail me the paper work and recived it on my address. I think he scam me here.

For the past two days I have been receiving harassing phone calls from a supposedly debt collector alleging I owe them a debt for a cash advance loan. This is not true. I have asked this person to stop calling me at work and he continues to call me repeatedly. Today I received about 20 phone calls from him. He has threatened to call my manager and co-workers to seek information on me. He identified himself as:

I did a little research online and found the following reports on this fraudulent overseas company posing as debt collectors.
Thank you for this post I had also received a call with him giving me the same information about me owing some loan I was really scared but I'm relieved to know this is all a scam and I didn't provide any information. Thank you so much for clearing this up.

I have got phone calls from a number of different men saying I owe s payday loan. I stating from bci Saying they s pressing charges on me for fraud, theft and some money thing else. They are rude people. Calling my job and trying to take my money. This is bull [***]. I tried of being harassed by this thefts!

I received 57 calls at my place of business (these frauds don't even have my personal number) saying I owed money to a payday loan place and they cussed and demanded I pay $895 for they'll prosecute. They were Indian as well.

I just called from "Officer Chris," he is calling on behalf of the BCI. I asked if he was calling from the Police Dept. He said "yes." Then I asked where he was calling from, he responded Florida. I then said she is not available can I leave a message. Then I checked my cell phone which is my work phone and a urgent message came stating the same that He was Officer Chris something and he was leaving a message due to a complaint from attorneys and from companies. If I don't call back I would have problems at my house and my work. So I went on the internet looking at the BCI Florida. The number's on the website did not match the Bureau of Criminal Investigations of the Police dept. Then I google the BSI collection agency and this is what I ran into. I do agree being threatened that I need to take care of this otherwise..... But then again I know the real deal Investigators will knock on your door for real.

I have also received these calls at my place of business. I have not taken out any loans, took the number down that BCI Investigations called from 877-837-4395 - Paul was the foreigners name. When he was asking to speak with a supervisor I informed him that I manage the place, and there is no supervisor. He said he would be calling the main number. I tried to call the number back and speak with "Paul's" supervisor and there was a recording that stated the call would be subject to being tape recorded, when I got the voice mail I left my name and informed them that the AG had been notified of their "harassment" calls to my place of business. I informed them this was considered harassment and that the BBB would also be notified once they received the call from the Attorney Generals office and the complaint was complete. I also notified them via voicemail that any further calls to my place of employment would be considered harassment, and therefore they would incur legal charges in connection with any harm done to my position of employment. -During the entire call back to them I remained calm, and clear to get my point across. I suggest anyone reading these reviews handle it this way. The calls stopped after I left that message... but, we shall see what tomorrow brings. I am fully prepared to give them back what they are giving me. -Definitely a SCAM, don't play into it, if you get loud or scream they will continue to call, in the hopes that you will give in and pay them.

they call my job, home and cell using names such as Watson and Peter Jones. Threats "i will call you 100 times. You will be fired from job. You will be behind bars." Phone messages usually end with " i can only wish you good luck as this unfolds on you." one of the numbers is 312-473-2924. They do not have a transaction date.

I just got a call from 408-471-7960. he said he was from bureau of investigations in california and why was i ignoring him. he daid he has been trying to grt a hold of me for over an hour. he said i will be arrested tomorrow and he will be. calling my manager tomorrow. then he said if i am pretty when he comes to get me we wll have sex. while i am typing this he is calling again

I have someone named officer Paul Cooper calling saying that one of my friends has me down as something and if I don't get her to call them that I can go to jail for 7 months, I'm confused because they have my friends name. I just want them to stop calling me, how do I do that?

A man called saying he was Raymond Scott claiming to be checking on an employee who is not working now. He had an Indian accent and wanted to talk to my manager. The owner took the call and this man gave the last 4 digits of said employee's Social. They were claiming that said employee had listed our business as a reference on a loan and that unless we paid the debt they would go after the business for $20,000. We got bombarded by calls from there automatic dialer. We have several lines coming in and it tied us up for over 2 hours. This total scam came from the same place as others have talked about. The #'s they called from were 877-455-7911, 855-846-4573, 866-452-7816. They bombarded the phone lines and would not talk in a educated or resonable manner. They would not give there address, would not give his supervisior's name. When told to stop calling they did not. We told them that they were harrassing us and we were going to block there #, he laughed and said we have plenty of #'s. The Police could do nothing. Do not give out any information over the phone to anyone claiming to be from a "collections agency" Get everything in writing 1st.

These people called my all day harrassing everyone at my job that i owe them $500 then it when up to $1200 later they said i owed $20,000. J dont owe any one at all i dont know how they got my job info this was so embarrassing for me,too.

Received a call from a man saying that I was served in my County court saying a owe a payday loan for 510.00 calling from 3139253214 then calling from 404 537 3500 Found out that this is not legal...beware don't give out any info.
