I am getting several calls a day from this number and finally after about 15 calls of only static, someone said they were from a college and asked me to verify some information. I told him to take me off his call list and he hung up before I could even finish speaking

this is the first time this number has called me on a sunday. Luckily, no one caught Touched By An Angel theme going off loudly in the back of the room. I sent them right to voicemail and nothing was left on my voicemail. This NEEDS to stop!

the caller initially called and hung up on the 25th at 9:22 pm, then on the28th @ about 12:00 noon he called and hung up before the phone could be answered, called back within 15 minutes,asked for me by name and hung up when told i was unavailable. called @3:09 pm and asked for me by first name. when i answered silence until i had said hello a 4th time. i thought it was a college location service. i am done with them. they think so little of people as individuals, they give your number out to any old creep. The only thing i put my phone number on is accounts that i have financial dealings with, other than college location services. this is rediculous.

Yep, I'm in the same boat as all of you. It only says "Bronx NY" on my caller ID. I called back and of course got the disconnected number BUT, here I am 3:05 later and the phone hasn't disconnected. This guy could easily record the "ding ding ding, This number is disconnected..." on his VM and then just leave a bunch of silence afterwards. I"m gonna keep the number on speaker phone for 10 minutes to see if it ever beeps and goes to VM.
Anyways, all that ever happens is that he hangs up immediately. I'm at a business by the way.

this number has been calling me for over a week 1-2 times a day. At first it was hang-ups then he started asking for names that were close to mine and I would say I don not know that person please stop calling me. Then the second time today my husband answered and he got my name right this time but my husband told him to stop calling this number or we were calling the cops. Probably wont help but I plan to call my cell provider tomorrow to see if I can block it. I have had the same cell number for 10 years and very rarely get a wrong number by someone mis-dialing and almost never get telemarketers calling. My number is registered with the Do Not Call Registry as well.

I'm getting the same kind of calls at different times for the last week.The calls are from the same number and show good old FELIX as the caller.I assume it's a scam to get you to call back.

this has been happing to me and they call and hang up!!! my boyfriend thought it was my x..lol then i gooled it and it came up this!!! this is crazy and freaky!!!! jennifer

My husband has also been receiving calls on his cell phone from 718-542-7472. When he called it back he got a recording saying that the number had been disconnected.

I called 718-542-7472 back and a recording says that this number is out of service. the caller ID says BRONX. I dialed "O" for operator and asked about the constant call with no voice. The operator gave me 800-288-2747 to call and inquire. There, The male voice asked what number I was calling from & after getting my information he told me that I reached the old AT&T and said he will give me the new AT&T customer service to call. I called 800-288-2020 and got a recording which did not allow me to speak to an agent as I was calling after hours. THIS IS [***]. Looks like this has been going on for quite some time yet no one can find out why this is happening and how to make it stop. Please continue to post when you get calls.

I got 2 calls today from this number. I'm also on the Do Not Call list. I used whitepages.com to do a reverse phone number search and it came up as belonging to Felix Ceballos, 846 Beck St, Bronx, NY 10459-5026. I also called the number back and got the Number is Disconnected message. Has anyone called the Bronx PD?

I got a call from this number as well, caller asked for my wife by name. When I said she wasn't home and asked for his name, he hung up. Dude sounded like he was in the hood. Looked on Facebook and there's a few Felix Ceballos on there... but this area code is from new york...

I received a call from 718-542-7472 today at 7:25 Chicago time. I did not answer it because I did not recognize the number. When I call back it rings and then says the number you dialed is not in service. I assume it is someone trying to run a scam.

I get call from this number and they do not answer and hang up when I pick up the phone but one time they threat me that they will make harm to me. This is an obvious harassment crime and NYPD needs to stop them. Unfortunately they just get pay and make belly! Shame on NYPD and Intelligence depatment with their shameful service!
