I will get them if they do not refund my money. I don't have the money to pay my account thanks to them. I will have to file bankruptcy. I will not go down alone. The FBI has been notified and they are waiting my response to go.

    Taken In Maine says, (11/26/07)

Same story here, I got "SUCKERED" by these PosterPass.com "THIESES" !

Saw the add for the $2:00 each posters and thought it would make good gifts for the grandkids,so, I ordered the four posters of my choice, didn't realize there was a $31:00 hidden charge until after I ordered them and was able to axcess the "Help" option that's only avalable after they have your credit card and shipt to address information.

Once I did find out about the outragious charges to my credit account I got in touch with my credit card company and learned that I'm far from the only person that's been taken by these "INTERNET CROOKS",the credit card company put the transaction with "PosterPass.com" in dispute and also fowarded all the information to there fraud division because there have been so many complaints with "PosterPass.com".

Last week I recieved another shipment of posters from "PosterPass.com" and I did not even order them, sure enough they had the nerve or stupidity to hit my credit card account without my authorization, today the U.S. Mail brought yet again another box of four posters sent to me by "PosterPass.com" of which I did not order, "yes"_the credit card company has been notified promptly because this now goes far beyond fraud, it is outright steeling from peoples credit card accounts.

I'm not worried about the outcome, my credit card company is really good and all that they will pay these "THIEVES" for is the $8:00 owed to them in my original one time order of the four posters advertised for $2:00 each, as the S&H charges where hidden and unknown to me at the time of purchace they will not be paid, nor will any charges for any more poster shipped to me that I did not order.

These "CROOKS" at "PosterPass.com" better have some good lawyers as they are definitely going to need them to defend themselves from the fraud charges the credit card company is no doubt going press against them.

I hope they get the proper jail time and have to pay outragious fines, "SCUMS" like these "PosterPass.com" "INTERNET THIEVES" need to be stopped.

I filled out an order form prior to reading the terms.  I clicked back to read them did not authorize any sale. My current bank statement lists a $25.00 purchase from PosterPass.com.  I immediately emailed my bank, told them the situation, and to take care of it.  I'm waiting for a response.

Has anyone gotten their full refund from posterpass.com? They have charged my bank account 5 times and I have been waiting since July to get a refund and they have only given me $33 of the $250 they owe me. I am thinking about contacting a lawyer. Has anyone done this yet? If so have you had any luck getting any money refunded fromt his company?

    Not Going To Take It
Contact their Better Business Bureau.  This kind of thing is absolutely wrong, does not follow common business practice of giving customers what they want. They're sending & CHARGING unauthorized product...they are taking your hard earned dollars without your consent.  Google their State's website and do a search on who actually owns said company. Use their phone number to look them up.  My guess is that 'posterpass.com' is one of a few 'dba' (doing business as) names under a larger LLC (Limited Liability Company) or Corporation.  Whomever this is, they need to clearly state, and not hide, the fact that ordering once with them throws their customers into an auto-ship program without their consent. LET THE PEOPLE KNOW!  Had I known that, I would not have ordered the original 5 posters for $25.  The first box said nothing about another shipment arriving.  The second box I received did have a sticker about another shipment which obviously alarmed me & sent me into action.  I'm not going to take it.  You shouldn't either.  Anyone can buy a business license... it doesn't make them a good company.  Their actions will speak louder than their fine print.  If they do not refund you in full, I say...DO SOMETHING.  Get your pen & paper out, call them up, find out exactly when the charges were made without your consent and how much they charged you. If their charges sent you into NSF at your bank, document that as well.  If enough people have had these issues, someone has to do something about it.  A good start is the aforementioned BBB.  Good luck & dont just take it!

PosterPass is a ripoff company. They got me 2 times. They are also connected with a company called Home Arts Direct. If the one can't get you the other one will. All the web sites are full of complaints on both of these ripoff companies. They claim that if you receive the posters at home they debit your account for $38.90 per week for 2 posters which you can buy at kmart for $3.00 each. I have contacted the Ohio Attorney General concerning both of these companies. They said they are investigating them now, and have said that other state and federal agencies are also involved.

Posterpass.com is owned by Peel Inc. which also operates www.seattlecoffeedirect.com, www.shopdani.com, www.magazineburst.com, and publicationsmax.com in addition to PosterPass.com

In doing a websearch I noted that similar problems have been encounted by persons buying from any of the these websites.

Other DBA ( doing business as) names are

    Peel.com
    Danielle Janine Jewelry
    Coffee Roasters Direct, Inc
    HollywoodJewelryStorwe.com
    PerfectlyPendants.com
    RelationshipSpot.com
    RingingCell.com
    Superduperfree.com
    VermontRoastingCo.com
    Homeartsdirect.com

According to the Illinois Better Business Bureau website this company, Peel Inc. has an UNSATISFACTORY record with the BBB due to a PATTERN of complaints and has failed to correct the underlying reason for the complaints.

Consumer complaints allege undisclosed or unauthorized charges, lack of clearly disclosed shipping and/or membership fees, and deceptive advertsing.  Consumers further allege receiving multiple orders of merchandise that has not been ordered and/or authorized, and subsequent difficulty obtaining refunds.

Furthermore, many complaintants allege purchasing posters from POSTERPASS.COM at a particular price and report having been charged a much higher pirce and allegedly unknown fees for the transaction.

My spouse was taking an online survey at click on a option to buy 4 poster for $2 each.  In the past three weeks our checking account has been debited for over $150 by both PosterPass.com and HomeArtsDirect.com which is also owned by Peel Inc.

I checked the Missouri Attorney General's Website and no complaints were showing as having been registered to date.

With all the complaints, I do not understand why posterpass is still in business.  They have done the same thing to me.  I have now had to put a hold on charges to my credit card.  He used a new company name - ClassicDecorDirect.com and started charging me again after I called and cancelled.  I sent all the posters back and know I will not be credited.

another BS message from Jeff Berman.  You want customer satisfaction Jeff? Stop scamming people!  Be on the up and up like reputable membership sites and make it crystal clear that people are joining a club. Include that info on the confirmation emails - and even then - when you say "once a month" don't sudden;y ship 4 and 5 times in that one month.  You are a crook and should be sued!

I fell for the 4 posters for $2 also.  After receiving 4 boxes I didn't order, I called and canceled my membership.  After trying to make a purchase with my debit card and having it denied, I looked up my account on line and saw posterpass.com charged me $39.80 13 TIMES!!!  Yeah, that's over $500.  This was in a matter of weeks, mind you.  They tell me I will receive a full refund 10-14 business days after they receive the posters I've sent back.  I can't wait that long!  It's already been a few weeks since I've sent them back!  I'm physically sick thinking about all of this.

I have sent back 5 sets of posters i didnt want back at the end of april it is now july. First i had to call them with tracking numbers after they were recieved. they didnt have a record of the return then had to look for them after i called with tracking info. then they said it will be 14 days for refund. i called back 14 days later and they said o no it takes 30 days. 30 days came they said there was a problem issuing the refund. they never called to tell me there was a problem. then they claim they are manually putting in the refund and give it another 14 days. 14 days came still no refund. then i call and they say that the credit card company they use to refund is having issues and that they will process it with a new company they are using. and i should get it in 3-10 days. called after 10 days and got a guy with an attitude saying you were told 10-14 its not 13 yet. well it is tommorrow and i will be demanding my money and probly fail again. they are scams on all ends.

They've been doing the same thing to me!  First they tell me I'll get a refund when they receive the posters.  That was weeks ago!  When I call, they get snippy with me and tell me they haven't received them yet so they can't refund me.  It took about a week or so for me to receive them after the ONE order I made, and they're trying to tell me they haven't received them back yet?!?  I've already made a complaint to the BBB of IL and I feel a little better, but not $500 better.
