I live on S.S. and since I am not planing to go to Orlando Or Datona, I would like my money back. I am 73 yrs old and feel like I was pressured into excepting the so called deal. This is a faugulent company, & I do hope I can get my money back. When I asked for a refund I was refused. Said I was to late to get a refund. I called within 10 days of them taking $198.00 out of my checking account.

    Received numerous calls, finally answered told the sales person that I had to think about it. He became upset and said he was not going to beg me to come to Florida for 99.00 I hung up.  Rude Glad I did not spend anymoney. I have had good results with the wyndham vacation club in florida. Check them out!!

    4-7-10, I just got off the phone with ETT.  They are refusing to credit $99. to my account.  I gave the package to my son in Dec. 09.  They called again on 3-20-10 and insisted I should buy another package.  Said I couldn't afford it and they sent the info to my son in NY (I live in FL).  They also charged my account $99. AGAIN!!  Had told them I couldn't afford it at the time but today they said it was up to my son to cancel within 15 days.  I did NOT authorize a charge but they charged me anyhow and refuse to give a credit saying it's been over 15 days.  Being rude is the way all of their callers have been.  To say I'm extremely unhappy with this company is an understatement.

    They keep calling me, 3 different people so far, about travel.  I told them I don't like to travel, I never travel, and I'm not interested.  They just keep blabbing on.  I hung up on them.  They have my name, email, address and birthdate.  Crooked company.

    I must agree this company seems fishy to me as well. I Answered my phone to a sales lady who knew all my wifes info, told me My wife applied for this. I even argued with the lady on the phone about giving my card number. Buty she had all this info on my wife so reluctantly I gave out my info. I was todl that all I would be charged is a 4.95 deduction to confirm my package and get a package in the mail. When I hung up I got thinking what the f***, this sounds like something that stinks. I called my card company and was informed they took a much larger amount. I changed my card info right there. Although I did receive a package with a phone number,so I CALLED. I demanded my money back. I really do not expect it to be credited back to me. They will be haselled by me as they have haselled others.Fogive my spelling.

    ETour and travel called me on July 1 and tried to sell me a package deal for Orlando and Daytona.  They agreed to hold my credit card number until I received a package from them and called them back to accept or decline their offer.  They told me I would receive the package within 5-7 business days and I had 15 days from July 1 to cancel.  They also told me I would be receiving info. via email within 24 hrs.  I never received that info. I phoned them the next day and told them I had decided to cancel.  I was told I would have to call back the following day at a specific time to speak to their supervisors.  The salesperson did not have authority to cancel. I phoned the next day and spoke with the person in charge of canceling.  He wanted to know why I had decided to cancel and when told the reason, he became very annoyed and tried to justify all of the red flags I had read online about their company. He then told me I would have to wait until I received the package and go online to punch in a code number to cancel it.  I agreed to wait a few more days, as it hadn't been 5-7 business days.  In the meantime, they ran my credit card and got their money. I phoned them back about this and had to wait to speak to the supervisors, who were either out or on another line.  When I was finally able to speak with them, I wanted to know why they charged my card when they had agreed to hold it until I viewed the package.  They said that was how they did it, but that was not what they told me originally.  Luckily I had recorded the conversations.  The supervisors then connected me with customer service who again, for the fifth time, wanted to know why I was canceling and tried to convince me that it really was a good deal.  When I became understandably annoyed, he connected me to his trainer who proceeded to tell me how rude I was.  I finally told them to process my cancellation and credit my account.  I was then told it would take 7-10 business days for them to refund me.  I also received an email that said they had cancelled my package and I would be given a refund within 5-7 business days.  I finally received my refund approximately seven days later, but I had to go through steps they did not inform me about.  I recorded our conversations and even threatened to get the FBI involved if needed.  I would not recommend  doing busines with this company. They are very aggressive and don't tell you all the details unless you know to ask.
    I wonder how many people they do this to and collect the interest off of their money by holding it for so many days.

    I have been done the same as the rest of you guys, I looked over the material and decided not to take the trip, and they told me I wasted past the 15 days but I did not, and I have been trying since June to get my $99.00 back. I talked to a different person each time I called. One man said I would get my refund, the other idiots could not make any sense out of the whole deal. This is a big scam and one lady I asked her "is this just some kind of scam" and she said yes" but then when I told her what she said she denied saying it. I hate this company and if I ever get my money back, they better hope they never call my number again..................

    Got a call from E Tour & Travel telling me that I won a trip to Orlando. I was told that the trip included air, accomodations and tickets to Universal Studios. All I had to pay were taxes of $399.00. When I called to book my trip I was told that the package did not include airfare. After 15 minutes of ranting and raving about being ripped off I hung up. I contacted the Florida Attorney General, Orlando BBB, the Pennsylvania Attorney General (where I'm from) and the NY Attorney General (where I signed up to win the trip). Within 2 weeks I had all of my money refunded to my credit card!!

    I did purchase the package they offered as it sounded exciting and I thought I could make it work.......unfortunately, I am a single mother of 3 and still not working after Maternity leave. I called to cancel and let them know that I had still not received anything in the mail and I was uncomfortable continuing to do business with them, as well as I really should never have purchased the package to begin with. They charmed me again by adding a day and giving me an extra year to use the package. They also said they would send out the package for me to view right away. Well, I received the package last week and had to call and cancel as I really cannot afford the cost at this time. I spoke with the sales person who was wonderful and then a supervisor, Eric I think. He said it would be impossible to get a refund as I was over the allotted 10 or 15 days. I told him how I had originally contacted them to cancel and was talked into keeping it and said, well why did you do that?! I have asked for his boss to contact me, Floyd is his name....he still has not called....I truly need this money refunded to my credit card ASAP! They have told me I can transfer it, but after reading so many horrible stories, how could I possibly do that in good faith.

    MYfriend &Iwas sentmail about  a travel package to Orlando, Florida  &Daytona,,Florida;including in the package was aire fare tickets hotel, car rental , when we recieved down to Orlando Florida  there would be  a vouher fo  a to day stay in universal studio.I read these consumer reviews,I haved notice some hidden cost.

    I am in the same boat you guys are in. I was taken for a ride too. They took $99.00 from my account also, and I called and cancelled the trip before the deadline and they said I never called. That they had no record of it. So I had to get a record of my calls which was made from my cell phone and it is on there, but I have not sent it to them yet because it will cost me to fax it to them and I don't think I should have to pay even more, but I am going to try to scan it and send it to them that way to see if they will accept that. This is a crooked company and I don't think they should be allowed to call people and make it sound so simple and cheap but when you get the papers there is a few more things added that they did not tell you about. How they get our phone numbers I don't know, I have that block on my phone but it doesn't matter they still call and won't shut up.

    This company called my husband yesterday and a male with a Jamaican accent was trying to sell him a $99 travel package. My husband asked him to call back so he could speak to me about it first before purchasing anything.I wasn't home at the time. Before hanging up, my husband inquired about the amenities of the hotels. He was transferred to a female who explained all amenities and upgrade costs for the deluxe rooms for the various hotels they offer. She asked my husband for his credit card and again my husband said that they would have to wait until he spoke to me. At that point, she said "Let me see what I can do for you". A "supervisor" came on the phone (who was male) and was really pushing him to buy right then. He offered my husband the 15 money back guarantee and said you can buy now, speak to your wife and if she decides against it, just call us back and we'll refund your money. After going back and forth of this guy really trying to get a credit card number, even as far as asking my husband to find a billing statement to retrieve the credit card number from there after he was told that my husband doesn't carry credit cards, and also asking my husband to call me at work to get an answer, the guy got irritated with my husband. All my husband wanted him to do was call back in a few hours once he spoke to me. The guy said that the offer is only good with this phone call and if he were to call back the offer would be $490 vs. $99. He then went on to say that I (his wife) must be the breadwinner and that he should be able to find a billing statement unless it's in a lockbox somewhere. Then he asked the no-no question.  He said "I've been in this business long enough to know that either you don't have any money or you just don't believe this package exists, because I'm telling you it exists.  Man to man, what it is, just tell me that you don't have any money, c'mon, tell me, man to man".  My husband was so taken back and replied back to him "Man to man, if you were in front of me, I'd beat your ass". The guy replied, "You know where I'm at, I'm in Orlando, you're in San Francisco, all of you are soft out there, come see me pumpkin". Conversation continued, but by now every word my husband would say,the guy would mock. Finally the guy hung up.

    In addition to filing a complaint with the BBB (it's not surprising that they are NOT a member), I'm also sending a letter to each and every company that they "represent" and sell packages for. Etourandtravels, according to their website, received permission from all of those companies to use their name/logo so these companies need to know who really is representing them too. I'd like to see this company SHUT DOWN. I'd hate to see people that really work hard for their money be pressured into buying a package from a company like this one that has NO STANDARDS whatsoever, and from the sounds of it, don't deliver to some. The COO should be fined and put out of business and I hope that eventually Karma kicks them all a good one.  This company is terrible, do not buy from them.  The more people that don't buy from them, the sooner they will all be out of a job.

    I have the same problem, Was pressure to buy a package, After me telling the guy I have no money on my credit cards, She push me to give him the cards numbers, First one Capital One decline, The second one he didn't said if it went excepted or decline, After given him the info I called ETour Travel right back, The same guy answer, I told him I wanted to cancel, then I called The credit card company, They said it decline, But I should cancel my card and get a new number so I did, But I just found out on Monday Feburay 07 2011 that They try the next day and it went though, They got $408 So I called to ask for my money back and was refuse, The guy called me on Dec 29 2010, Help me, It put me $400.00 over my limit.

    My husband & I purchased a vacation package from etour & travel in 2009 we did not take our vacation until 2011 we had to reschedule several times. and we were never even charged for the extended time beyond the 12 months or for the changes.  we had the vacation that they promised as well as we took an extra 7 days in between daytona and orlando to go where we wanted. We got exactly what they promised the resorts we stayed at were wonderful and  I will buy another vacation from them hopefully for next years vacation I don't know who you people dealt with but we had no problems and we had a wonderful vacation
