I just went rounds with one of the supervisors at freescore/identityhawk about charges to my bankcard. I understand what you all have experience. I for one will not let this sleeping dog ly. I will be contacting a class action attorney in the State of Michigan as well as the Attorney General. We have to stand up and fight back otherwise they will continue to scam other honest hard working people. If you are interested in joining my army, respond to my post.

I got hit for 6 payments of 14.95 for helping my grandfather check his credit. There was no identityhawk mentioned and the freescore.com was cancelled the same day. my credit card company cancelled my card and refunded all the charges, the idhawks said that I had agreed to the terms. What terms??? I was even told that the application was done from a website called pumeria or some such nonsense. FRAUD!!!!!

Noticed a charge from IDENTITYHAWK, cancelled on the 7th day but charged the $14.45. I remember opting out to anything connected with IDENTITYHAWK while getting my credit report. This is theft

Set up a freescore account back in March to keep track of my credit score while apartment hunting. I cancelled my freescore just a few short days after I started it and, of course, assumed all potential charges to cease. I was right about freescore not charging me, but apparently not about Identity Hawk. I used a low-balance credit card to start the account, one that I rarely use for much else. Last night (August 31), I was paying my bill and decided to look over my transactions and sure enough 7 charges for $14.95 each from March til August. I was disgusted. First I thought my account had been compromised but after a few quick google searchs-I've found all of you. I cancelled the "service" this morning and sought full refunds from the supervisor. "Amber" informed me that I've "obviously known about the charges since they've been happening since March," and that a refund could be issued for August only, but not the rest of the months. I told her I wasn't even aware that the complany existed until I saw the charges on my account and demanded full-refund, she got nasty, refused to give me her company ID--and the rest is history.
I'm contacting my credit card company (Capital One) and am currently in the process of disputing the charges. Hopefully Capital One will be able to refund the money but that would NOT be the last time Identity Hawk hears from me. I am very interested in filing a class-action lawsuit. Just because I provide certain information to freescore does not make my account a free-for-all for all of their friends and cronies. I will NEVER deal with freescore again and will drive anyone I know away from them. I feel so taken advantage of and compromised. I am fighting for my own right to MY money and MY credit account. For a company that claims to protect peoples' identity they sure do a lot of scamming to get to peoples information!!!
If you do file a lawsuit, please let me know - I am in - This is ridiculous that people have to go through this - we all work hard for our money.

Just contacted a government website and reported them as credit card fraud. Also called my credit card company and they deemed the charges fraudulent and filed against them as well - I am credited back only as far as December, but i am still unsure of how much they really stole from me - make sure to report them to officials - this is a federal offense and they need to be charged.
