It is the same company just many different phone numbers over the year.
This is not a debt collector, this is a scam for a payday loan. I inquired about a payday loan but never got one, this man called me on 33012 first at 6:54am then again begining at 9:22am he then proceeded to cuss out my husband and then myself, he called 21 times between 9:22am and 9:41am just to cuss us out. I called and reported him to the FTC ( Federal Trade Commission), they said he is a scam and they are going to prossicute him to the fullest if there are any other people out there he has called they want to know about it, at this time he is looking at substancial prision time. Also if you put any info out there for a payday loan contact the credit agencys and put a fraud alert on your social security number also contact your bank accounts and do the same for them, then call the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 and make a report, it will add to the charges on this guy. Please know I do not take this lightly and will not stop until he is behind bars, The FTC and myself will make sure this happens so please report him if he called you.

LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC is an internet communication provider. The people that are calling are using this provider to scam people. I got a call from a number today and the hung up. I looked them up and came up with LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC. Who is all over the world as a communication provider . Big key is DO NOT give out info to anyone you don't  do business with. People ( Crooks ) are trying to do anything to get info so they can commit identity theft.

Just as a side, level 3 Communications were recently sued for violations of the International Safe Harbor Privacy Framework, and of course we all know the last thing swindlers care about is Consumer Privacy.

These calls are STILL going on....two years later!  I get several calls a week from different numbers, all with my same area code, 904.  Some are hang ups and some say that I've won a cruise.  Getting so tired of these.  I finally reported them to my state Do Not Call registry administrator.

I just received a call from 407-287-5178, I was able to trace it back to Level 3 in Winter Garden, Florida.  I didn't answer the call, nor was a message left.  It sounds like the same scam.  I am in the process of blocking the number, notifying Verizon, and well as the FCC.

There are debt collection laws per state.    A company with whom you may have had a debt to go into collections can only legally call you to try and reconcile the debt for only as many years as legal by your States' law.   In Texas, it is illegal for a debt collector to call to collect a debt after 3 years (not sure of time frame - probably 3 years from the time it goes into collections).  Even if they sell your account to a collection agency - the timeframe for the agency to call and attempt to collect the debt is based upon the laws of your state.  This is my understanding and you may want to contact and just ask a local attorney to provide more information.

I got a call from 551-233-5621 said it was a collection agency and I owe 41567 (?) and asked how I will pay. I asked who the bill was for and he said AT&T Mobility. ..from 2006. it has been 12 years so why now are they calling and I hung up. Not sure if I really owe any money but he did repeat all the cell phone numbers associated with my old phone.

Got a call from a 202 area code. Told me I was given a federal grant of $8400! Just need a way to deposit it, so I gave them an empty prepaid visa number. After a few minutes I told I needed to call Kevin Noll # 202-407-7264. I did, [***] said I need to pay $230. Told him I don't have the money. I reported him to, FTC,FCC,FHR, which he said he was from, & state and federal att. general. Jokes on them

Apparently "Level 3 Communications" has come to Fort Lauderdale, FL via LAN line.
They call, I have them on ignore, and they have never bothered to leave a voicemail. I tried to call them back once, and it is a non-working number. Imagine that...
I've been keeping a record of all of their calls to build a case with Verizon and the FTC. I know my phone ignores the number, but it is still annoying to see that they showed up on the incoming call list as blocked... Is there a better way to block and not see they called? Samsung S4.

Yep there is just forward your unanswered calls to another number! Say for instance...their office or the FCC or something. Had old girlfriend that i would forward her calls to mental health :)
