So I had purchased the 3 year warranty for my car a few months ago. My ABS lights on the dash came on. Took the car to a mechanic and parts and labor around $700.00. Send a claim into DBW 2 days later after being on hold for over 25 minutes they denied my claim. They stated wear and tear and my negligence caused the problem. My mechanic called DBW and explained not the drivers fault and the part wore out. DBW refused to pay the amount and never paid for my rental car. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. BUYER BEWARE. They will take your money but will come up with a lousy excuse to avoid paying the bill.

    Scam company. They deny all claims the first three times. Run away as fast as u can. Do not buy this warranty they are a rip off.

    DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY! I am still fighting them on a covered componet failure. They deny all claims for any reason they can make up.

    This company is RIDICULOUS!!!!  They find every reason in the world to deny your claims.  If you are lucky. enough to get a claim approved, you will still end up paying out of pocket because the amount they approve does not cover the full cost of the parts and labor.  My car was in the shop for a month and the shop could not get DBW to cover the full cost of the repair.  The money you save with them is definitely not worth the headache and stress especially when they are not paying any claims.  DO NOT USE!! Includ3 me in any lawsuit against them.

    DBW CONTACTED ME TODAY TO BUY A WARRANTY FOR 4YEARS OR 48K  $1749.00 ON MY BMW. NOW I AM AFRAID TO BUY. DBW TOLD ME THEY WILL COVER EVERYTHING BUT OIL CHANGE, BREAK PADS, AND OTHER WEAR AND TEAR. THEY SAID THEY WILL COVER MAJOR PARTS. PLEASE WRITE SO I CAN GET YOUR OPION. THANKS

      I bought a used car only because it came with a DBW. I had valve cover oil leaks to repair, DENIED because GM issued a TSB Technical Specification bulletin regarding valve covers. The legalize is FILLED with reasons NOT to pay. If a TSB is issued on a part... they don't pay! You know how many 3 ring binders your cars TSB's can fill? They can get out of almost any claim! SCAM. Do-Not-Buy.

      Sure hope you didn't buy this - it truly is worthless.  They will find a way to deny your claims - count on it.

    I have a 2004 range rover bought the most expensive warranty that was like an "extension of the new car warranty" 2 months later my torqe converter went they denied me because it was a "pre existing condition" total scam include me if its not too late

    I have a 2001 s600 I was told they would cover my mercedes for $2344 for 3 yrs 50000 miles. They want me to pay upfront. I am very leery of this company. Please give me feedback. Thanks

      DONT DO IT I BOUGHT IN DECEMBER AND GOT RIPPED OFF TODAY BY THEM.

    DONT DO IT I JUST PURCHASED A WARRANTY IN DEC AND HAD A CLAIM AND IT WAS DENIED. THEY SAY PRE EXISTING ON EVERY CLAIM.

    I purchased a warranty from Direct Buy Warranty and my first claim was denied!  I was told this was because I had just started and cannot file a claim before 30 days.  So I waited and filed a claim for a different problem that I had and it was paid for by them.  My wife's contract had also 4 total claims paid (althought out of 6 we had requested payment.  the other 2 were denied because they were problems with the brakes)  All in all I am fairly happy with them.

    First experience was with one of our two DBW warranties. Wife's Tahoe had a transfer case issue. Easy fix. Second experience my F350 ball joints. DBW was great on phone. Finally my shop called me and I spoke to DBW rep Problem resolved within one hour.
