Dillards refuse to take returns after 13 days

I bought a pair of shoes from Dillards 13 days ago. When I went to return it today I was told that they have a 3 day return policy and I could not return the shoes. I find this unacceptable as no one told me that when I purchased the shoes. I find this consumer policy completely unacceptable - what recourse do I have?

You’re the reason strict return policies exist. Sounds like you plan to wear them for the “1 day” needed and then return. 😡
I am assuming that you are not the official spokesperson for Dillard's, or an employee, as I have thought that they only hired people with class. I have to say that your response to the dissatisfied customer was not what I would call a professional way of handling the complaint, as I am sure that Dillard's would still appreciate her business in the future.

No, I cannot believe the AHO who wrote these insults works for Dillard's. Dillard's is a professional retail company that would hire the best; this insulting jerk cannot represent Dillard's.
