I got a call today at home from a man stating he was a process server for Collin County DA's Office and he is with the Sheriff's office and needed to come serve a warrant on me.  I was shocked and asked why?  He stated do you live ....are you still at this address are you now at this address and I stated who are you?  He again, stated he was from the county going to serve court papers on me today. He gave me a toll free number for what he stated was the county's office which is 1 866.872.6116 gave me a case no. which he called a Cause No. 008307-TX. I called the number was transferred to a Mr. Fisher's office who stated that law suite in the amount of $6,214.24 was filed in Collin Co., Tx and that warrant was out for me.  He then after back and forth said let me get more information from my secretary and state this was for an outstanding debt in from Capital One a credit card that I obtained several years back and had disputes over interest charges etc.  He stated that if I did not want to go to court or jail that I could pay $1,951.00 in full by end of business today and this matter could be cleared up.  I explained that I recently lost my job etc.  Anyway, he stated that I needed to call him back by EOB today or they will serve the papers.  Ok, so that was a heads up for me.  I called the DA's office nothing is filed on me as of today, after searching PMG it is clear that they do not practice best practices for collections and have been in trouble for this before back in 2004.  I need someone to give me advise. I want to pay off my debt, I don't want this type of collections to continue this upset me, made my blood pressure raise, this type of collections are not the right thing to do.  Had they called and ask to make arrangements or give me an opportunity to clear the matter, rather then threaten me by taken legal action, or harassment stating they are sending a sheriff over today.  This is wrong, bad business, and should not continue this company is bad news.

    Then
If they have no legit reason to use it then they should not have access.

    Aha Moment!
Menifee is right next to Sun City... It looks like our buddies at PMG are busy...

Got this call three times in last 45 minutes, and this started a couple of days ago. They are tied to a company called A&N Financial Firm in Menifee California.
Now that I'm onto them, they have really gotten obnoxious on the phone. I have reported this A&N Financial Firm to the BBB and the FTC they already have an F with the BBB by the way,
They are in no way prcess servers and I'm sure actually work for A&N but they are using VOIP to throw different area codes at you. They will never tell me the name of their process serving company, because there isn't one.
Next stop, will try the FBI.

The number is now 1-888-519-1310 and called me saying that I was being sued and that I will be getting a summons.  I have an ill husband here and dont need anymore grief.  I dont have any payday loans and am tired of these fone calls...

WOW, I'm glad I read this post, I was almost scammed by this company but something told me to Google these people and I was glad I did because I almost paid these people $1600 for a $500 credit card I had 5 years ago. I was really scared, they told my mother there was a warrant out for my arrest and I needed to call asap. I reported them to TX FTC/ FCRA / Harris County FBI Office and was told they are already Investigating CM Association.

I too was a victim of harassment from this company. CM Association based out of Corona, CA. First they contacted my mom with a phone call. They asked her if anyone was at her house. She said yes, why. He then said are you over 18, she replied with yes, why. He said we have a Summons here for Christi and we need to drop it off. She said well Christi doesn't live here. She's in LA, I'm in VA. Then they said it's urgent that they speak with me regarding this case number. My mom asked what it was in reference to, but they wouldn't say. (They DON'T Call you first to see if you're home so they can drop off a Summons), I mean Seriously???

So I call the number and provide them with a Case Number. It forwards me to an answering machine. Later I receive a call back from Christian Mathews. She says that I took out a loan in Nov 2005 and I now owe $1700 to them. I told her repeatedly that I didn't do a payday loan. She got very loud and sarcastic with me.  I told her that there was no way that was possible. She went on to tell me my address from 6 yrs ago, which was correct, but heck I lived there for 13 yrs. Anyone could get that info.

She tells me I have 3 options, 1. Go to Court and then pay the bill plus court fees totally $3200, 2. Pay $330 in 4 monthly installments, or 3. Pay $265 to pay off the bill. I began racking my brain but knew this wasn't true. I knew I hadn't taken a loan out with that company (Quick Payday Inc.)  Once I was near a Fax Machine, I called Christian back and asked that she send me over some paperwork that shows that I owe this amount along with my original application for the loan. So what does she do.... She types up a letter saying briefly that I owe that amount and it needs to be paid no later than today or the deal is off.

I call back telling her that I had asked for the original documentation. She says well we don't have that, the criminal lawyer has those records cause he needs them for court. I said well if this is supposedly already being taken to court and has been filed, why are they contacting me. She said that they wanted their money. I told her without any type of actual documentation from Quick Payday I wouldn't be making a payment. She proceeded to cuss me out, telling me how crappy her life is, and how there are such lowlifes out in this world that are scum because they don't take care of their bills much less anything else. (She was Screaming at me). I told her to calm herself down, and get a life. She kept threatening with taking me to court. I finally said GO AHEAD!!!! She said nothing and hung up.

This lady really scared the hell out of me with this huge bill that I knew I hadn't made. And had I of made it, I'm sure the actual company would of sent me letters, bills, certified letters, etc trying to get me to pay it in 2005. I almost paid this stupid company but finally came to my senses when I had asked for documentation. When they couldn't provide it, I knew it was a Scam!!!! Don't be fooled by these people and definitely don't pass out your credit card information or Bank Info!!!

    A & N huh?
    http://www.manta.com/c/mt0xsqb/a-n-financial-firm

I am not sure if this is part of W&J's companies or not but it sure looks like a duck...

The last posts show even more plaintiffs to add to your lawsuit Michael. Tina and Denise are still doing their thing, so the case pretty much wins itself. Who would have guessed that if you rip off everyone in the country they might get mad, get information, and get to suing your [***] ass...

    They upped the ante
It looks like they are now threatening to add $3200 in court costs, I guess the $2500 just wan't greedy enough.

    So guess what?
Contact the victims of CMAG and find out if the debt is from PMG's lists... If it is, then there should be a whole 'nother round of FTC scrutiny, since we all know they haven't stopped. When they sold the debt to their buddies they broke the agreement they had with the FTC. Gotta catch 'em all!

    wow
That is pretty desperate when you have to find old post to try and destroy a company.  The Karma that will sooner or later hit you is going to be brutal. Your a very sick person maybe you should get some help.  FYI the FTC is aware of the games your playing and they are getting a little tired of the dead beats you keep having call. Stop trying to eliminate your competition.  All it does is show how week and in experienced your are.

Please keep calling the FTC and every other agency to report these [***] vultures. I want them out of business now. How are they still being allowed to harass the public. Can I make a plea to the public and lets try and stop the lady pond lovers before they get any more of our money.

Ok has anyone seen a consumer complaint on this blog in the last month? If there was one who could even tell.  This thing has turned into a Jerry Springer show on line.  Look at the language these idiots use. There idol is a scam artist himself Michael Peterson who more then likely bit off more then he can chew because now he is exposed. In prison all he did was learn how to be a better criminal. He is very smart he coned you idiots into following him. To all the collectors that are getting slandered once again file a law suit against Michael Peterson for slander do it in small claims you will not need a lawyer and you can sue for up to 5000.00. Wayne and Jason do the same the real scam in all this is Michael Peterson.

    Spiff money

That was part of their "best script ever".

They add "court and attorney fees" as part of coercing "settlement", and if they con a part of them, it's "spiff money".

"they are already Investigating CM Association."

That says CMAG may already be linked with the Corona Scam investigation.

    SPIFF MONEY
Isn't collecting above the amount owed illegal? So, anyone who has paid "Spiff money" should be entitled to reimbursement. Keep it up CMAG, keep it up.

    It is "Linked"
However, without a receiver acting as babysitter for these schmucks they go back to their old habits pretty quick. CMAG is under investigation just like PMG was earlier this year. Keep up the VALID complaints against them and once the number reaches the same plateau it did at PMG then the next wave of Gov't takeovers will begin. LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR. IT IS TIME TO GET OUT OF THIS EXTORTION RACKET. WE WILL FIND YOU, EXPOSE YOU, AND WATCH YOU BURN JUST LIKE WAYNE AND JASON AND JOHN AND TIM AND SAM.

    Of course it is.
That is why Scott Harlow's lawsuit calls it fraud and extortion, and alleges violations of RICO.

    The LLC shells are disposable.
To stop this merry-go-round, the managers and owners must be prosecuted.

Otherwise, they just move, change their name, and start all over again.

    RICO
RICO stands for the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (18 U.S.C. § 1961), a law that increases the severity of penalties for crimes performed in conjunction with organized crime. The law states that any person or group who commits any two out of a list of 35 crimes (known as racketeering activity in the U.S. Code) within a decade and can be determined to have committed them with similar results or similar intentions can be charged with racketeering.
The maximum penalties for racketeering include a fine of up to $25,000 and up to 20 years in prison in addition to the forfeiture of all business interests and gains gleaned from the criminal activity. In addition, the case can be re-tried in civil court; plaintiffs are allowed to sue for triple damages. The law covers crimes such as bribery, extortion, money laundering, counterfeiting, gambling, murder, arson, robbery, kidnapping, harboring certain illegal aliens, obstruction of justice, slavery and others.

In order to prosecute a RICO case, investigators need to establish evidence of the existence of a criminal organization. U.S. Attorneys General who pursue RICO charges can opt to seek an injunction or restraining order before trial that prevents the assets in question from being transferred and requires the defendant to put up a performance bond. This usually serves to push the defendant to plead guilty to the charges before an indictment (a formal accusation against the defendant).

RICO laws are especially effective in prosecuting those who retaliate against victims, whistleblowers or witnesses of crimes when those parties cooperate with law enforcement or an ongoing investigation. In addition, anti-SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) laws can be applied in order to stop corporations or individuals from abusing the legal system by filing retaliatory lawsuits against whistleblowers or crime victims.

Two crimes in a ten year period?
These clowns commit two crimes on their WAY to work, two crimes even before a balanced breakfast. Is this really all it takes to prove RICO? Wow.... they are    f u c k e d !

IF you recently became a closer you might want to quit before YOUR name is added to the lawsuit, I hear there is still room for more defendants!

    Yes!
Finally someone else sees how this works. If these basards are allowed internet access and telephones they WILL continue to harass, annoy, vex, torment and otherwise [***] with victims. Time to put the criminals in cages already.

    RICO also allows..
for civil lawsuits, and it allows awards to be triple the damages.
