I got a call today at home from a man stating he was a process server for Collin County DA's Office and he is with the Sheriff's office and needed to come serve a warrant on me.  I was shocked and asked why?  He stated do you live ....are you still at this address are you now at this address and I stated who are you?  He again, stated he was from the county going to serve court papers on me today. He gave me a toll free number for what he stated was the county's office which is 1 866.872.6116 gave me a case no. which he called a Cause No. 008307-TX. I called the number was transferred to a Mr. Fisher's office who stated that law suite in the amount of $6,214.24 was filed in Collin Co., Tx and that warrant was out for me.  He then after back and forth said let me get more information from my secretary and state this was for an outstanding debt in from Capital One a credit card that I obtained several years back and had disputes over interest charges etc.  He stated that if I did not want to go to court or jail that I could pay $1,951.00 in full by end of business today and this matter could be cleared up.  I explained that I recently lost my job etc.  Anyway, he stated that I needed to call him back by EOB today or they will serve the papers.  Ok, so that was a heads up for me.  I called the DA's office nothing is filed on me as of today, after searching PMG it is clear that they do not practice best practices for collections and have been in trouble for this before back in 2004.  I need someone to give me advise. I want to pay off my debt, I don't want this type of collections to continue this upset me, made my blood pressure raise, this type of collections are not the right thing to do.  Had they called and ask to make arrangements or give me an opportunity to clear the matter, rather then threaten me by taken legal action, or harassment stating they are sending a sheriff over today.  This is wrong, bad business, and should not continue this company is bad news.

Pristine Loss Mitigation Inc., scammed a bunch of people and then "transferred" accounts to newly formed SCC Law Group, which stands for Rose Spellamn, Thomas Chapin and David Clark.  Thomas Chapin represents one of the dirt bags from the Rincon scam that was raided way back in 2011.  Anybody have any info on this newly formed "SCC Law Group".

Also, attorney Paul St.Amant, recently disbarred for stealing from over a dozen clients.  He was closely associated with the Rincon scam, and filed BKs for Tina Goff and Rhonda Loop in 2013 (both of which were fraudulent).  His last address at 1 Ridgegate, Temecula, is in the same building as an office for another group of very nasty "Rincon" people. Anybody know of Mr. St.Amant's current adventures? Do they involve Wayne Lunsford and relatives?

Thanks for the research on SCC Law Group, but I had most of that.  I was looking for names of employees of SCC Law Group, i.e. is this just Pristine Loss Mitigation renamed; are any Rincon scammers involved, etc.

As for your reference to Jack Law, One Alliance and National Mitigation, I'm not drawing a connection to either the SCC Law Group or the other matter, Paul St.Amant....am I missing something?

        Thanks again.

that there was a cluster of similar operations historically tied to the same phone number.

Mainly, I wanted to see if the typical complaint pattern showed up on 800notes.

Continuity in phone numbers (and possibly Experian/Accurint accounts) has shown up in other resurrected Corona operations.  The names keep changing, but sometimes the phone numbers stay the same, or connect related "offices" via complaints under a common phone number on 800notes.

There is a past pattern of both "debt negotiation service" and "debt collection" with B&L.
Might just be a local answering service.

"St. Amant" showed up in one of the B&L websites at the time of the FTC raids, with boilerplate construction similar to their other later batch of sites.  I think FTC may have taken emails with their website developer about it.  Might be in the docs they filed with the court, visible on Pacer.  Not sure to what degree Paul St. Amant was/is involved.

    GET A LIFE
    "WASTED TIME"

    Well baby, there you stand
With your little head, down in your hand
Oh, my God, you can't believe it's happening again
Your baby's gone, and you're all alone
And it looks like the end.

And you're back out on the street.
    And you're tryin' to remember.
How do you start it over?
You don't know if you can.
You don't care much for a stranger's touch,
But you can't hold your man.

You never thought you'd be alone this far down the line
And I know what's been on your mind
You're afraid it's all been wasted time

The autumn leaves have got you thinking about the first time that you fell
You didn't love the boy too much, no, no, you just loved the boy too well,
    Farewell
So you live from day to day, and you dream about tomorrow, oh.
And the hours go by like minutes and the shadows come to stay
So you take a little something to make them go away
And I could have done so many things, baby
If I could only stop my mind from wonderin' what
I left behind and from worrying 'bout this wasted time

Oh, another love has come and gone
Oh, and the years keep rushing on
I remember what you told me before you went out on your own:
"Sometimes to keep it together, we got to leave it alone."
So you can get on with your search, baby, and I can get on with mine
And maybe someday we will find , that it wasn't really wasted time
    Mm, hm
    Oh hoo, ooh, oh,
    Ooh, ooh, mm

    Civil Harassment
In general, civil harassment is abuse, threats of abuse, stalking, sexual assault, or serious harassment by someone you have not dated and do NOT have a close family relationship with, like a neighbor, a roommate, or a friend (that you have never dated). It is also civil harassment if the abuse is from a family member that is not included in the list under domestic violence. So, for example, if the abuse is from an uncle or aunt, a niece or nephew, or a cousin, it is considered civil harassment and NOT domestic violence.
The civil harassment laws say “harassment” is:

Unlawful violence, like assault or battery or stalking, OR
A credible threat of violence, AND
The violence or threats seriously scare, annoy, or harass someone and there is no valid reason for it.
“Credible threat of violence” means intentionally saying something or acting in a way that would make a reasonable person afraid for his or her safety or the safety of his or her family. A “credible threat of violence” includes following or stalking someone or making harassing calls or sending harassing messages (by phone, mail, or e-mail) over a period of time (even if it is a short time).

Read about the law in Code of Civil Procedure section 527.6.

    Workplace Violence
For a workplace violence situation, the harassment is defined in the same way as for civil harassment. The difference is that the harassment happens primarily at work AND it is the employer of the harassed employee who asks for protection for the employee (and, if necessary, for the employee’s family).

For an employer to get a workplace violence restraining order on behalf of an employee, there needs to be reasonable proof that:

    The employee has suffered unlawful violence (like assault, battery or stalking) or a credible threat of violence;
    The unlawful violence or the threat of violence can reasonably be construed to be carried out or to have been carried out at the workplace;
The conduct is not allowable as part of a legitimate labor dispute; and
The person accused is not engaged in constitutionally protected activity.
Read about the law in Code of Civil Procedure section 527.8.
