Country: United States
I got a call today at home from a man stating he was a process server for Collin County DA's Office and he is with the Sheriff's office and needed to come serve a warrant on me.  I was shocked and asked why?  He stated do you live ....are you still at this address are you now at this address and I stated who are you?  He again, stated he was from the county going to serve court papers on me today. He gave me a toll free number for what he stated was the county's office which is 1 866.872.6116 gave me a case no. which he called a Cause No. 008307-TX. I called the number was transferred to a Mr. Fisher's office who stated that law suite in the amount of $6,214.24 was filed in Collin Co., Tx and that warrant was out for me.  He then after back and forth said let me get more information from my secretary and state this was for an outstanding debt in from Capital One a credit card that I obtained several years back and had disputes over interest charges etc.  He stated that if I did not want to go to court or jail that I could pay $1,951.00 in full by end of business today and this matter could be cleared up.  I explained that I recently lost my job etc.  Anyway, he stated that I needed to call him back by EOB today or they will serve the papers.  Ok, so that was a heads up for me.  I called the DA's office nothing is filed on me as of today, after searching PMG it is clear that they do not practice best practices for collections and have been in trouble for this before back in 2004.  I need someone to give me advise. I want to pay off my debt, I don't want this type of collections to continue this upset me, made my blood pressure raise, this type of collections are not the right thing to do.  Had they called and ask to make arrangements or give me an opportunity to clear the matter, rather then threaten me by taken legal action, or harassment stating they are sending a sheriff over today.  This is wrong, bad business, and should not continue this company is bad news.

    Too bad you won't see any of the money from that 'dead beat widow.' If you call being involved in an FTC lawsuit being 'a little busy' then you clearly have a birth defect. Maybe you're confusing that for your supposed job skills.

    FYI
    FYI:  That is not everything - that's just the introductory complaint itself.  There are other documents that include hundreds of pages of evidence and other supporting documentation - including dozens of sworn declarations by victims - some incredibly shocking.

    To get an idea of the full scope of the operation you're gonna have to sign up for a Pacer account.

    Their toys
    All one has to do is visit their fb pages to see their favorite toys.  Tons of pics of off-road jacked-up trucks, souped up cars, dune and baha buggies and ATV's.  Judging from the trucks - including Jason Begley's F150 (built for him by brother Chris) - the favored color is red.

    They even posted photos of the vehicles with their license plates front and center.  That should make it easier for the feds to track and repossess the vehicles to reimburse the victims!

    Pay Structure
    From the FCC Docs:

    Up to 15k regular money collected - @ 33% commission

    Anything over 15k regular money - @20% commission

    Example - for 30k regular money collected
    15k collected @33% = 5K in your pocket
    Next 15k collected @20% = 3k in your pocket
    Totaling $8k in your pocket

    OR

    15k = $5k in your pocket
    10K = $3300 in your pocket
    7500 = $2500 in your pocket
    6k = 2k in your pocket

    Spiff money is $500 collected over total balance principal and interest

    Collector gets 80% of that = $400 the other 20% = $100 goes to the manager of the office.  You don't get spiff until you are hitting 10k regular money collected for the month.

    EXAMPLE:  you collect 9K regular money 3K spiff = 12K total.

    1K of spiff money goes towards regular money so 10K regular money and 2K spiff = $3300 regular money and $1600 spiff money = $4900 in pocket.

    Spiff money is how you can make the most money

    HHSMB = heavy hitter spiff money business

    So...
    Do you think that their way of starting sham LLC's and appointing themselves as Signer and President to avoid having to pay ANY taxes will work out in the long run? Once the IRS is tipped off (And they Have Been!) all will be visible. DMV records aren't hard to get if you are a Gov't agency... I bet those with cars are dumping them and trying to remain above water. They will need that money more than they could ever know...

    "Spiff money is best"
    Wouldn't that "Spiff Money" be taxed at a much higher rate? Those of us who have ever earned bonuses or commissions know you pay a much higher rate to the Man on "Extra money" than base pay... So if the IRS sees $1600 in "Spiff" money they are gonna want $1600.00 X 40% = 640.00 in applicable taxes. I hope they had a little something stashed away in their mattresses, cause it's looking like a welfare Christmas for these "Heavy Hitters"

    Begley's Harley
    Jason Begley's wife Shontel posted pics a while back of a 2007 HARLEY DAVIDSON SOFTAIL she said they were trying to sell.  Asking price was $18,900 at the time -- and she said they had $30K in upgrades in it.  Pics still public on her fb page - Shontel Begly (Deese).

    More assets for the feds to seize and reimburse victims.

    TJM?
    Isn't that what WayneLunsford changed his company to in his FB? I think it is! I wonder how much money Wayne and Jason funneled into that TJM company. If only their were financial records and such for the FTC and IRS to follow...oh, wait...

    Pure comedy gold - but they won't get it. Nuances, subtleties and references to pop culture are definitely not their forte.

    That's OK
    As long as SOMEONE here has recognized my awesomeness that is enough for me. That, and the money that I will soon be getting from some VERY interested News Media companies I am in deliberations with regarding certain as-of-yet undisclosed details surrounding this case.

    Love May Be A Battlefield, but the District Court in LA will make love seem like a mild tiff.  :)

    Withholding on nonperiodic bonuses would be at around that rate.
    Actual marginal tax rate would depend on total taxable income.

    what about the spouses
    It's a shame that the spouses of these con men can not be brought to justice.
    They were the ones who were enjoying all the benefits of the scam.
    I really don't have a very good opinion of them.

    Wow...We seem to have ran them off
    I don't think they felt The Love here they were hoping to. Or maybe that "Debt Beat Widow" called back and they had to go.
    OR, maybe the utilities are starting to get shutoff since none of them have any money.

    @ "Dumb"
    First off, thank you using an honest name for once. :) Secondly, the way I hear it your companies bought Old Debt Lists. Since most of the debt was outside of the statute of limitations and was legally "uncollectable" through traditional, legal means, you bought it knowing full well that you would need to break, bend, and circumvent the law in order to ever collect a dime. You people knew each time you purchased more debt (FTC says they spent roughly $2,000,000 Between 01/01/2011 and 06/31/2011) what you were going to have to do to collect. If your business does somehow stay afloat throughout these proceedings you will find that your lack of ability to work as a Valid Debt Collector will be your undoing. Anyone can be a pickpocket, and you jokers just did it over the phone out of fear of retribution. Well, ya had a nice run folks.
