Unauthorized charges to bank account

I tried a free trial of Perma Slim from Momentum Direct. I paid about $9 dollars in shipping and 2 weeks later I received the pills.

The instructions that came with the pills stated that I have 14 day trial and if I wasn't satisfied to return the bottles and my account would not be charge $49.95. I called them a week of trying the pills they did not work. I went to the bank the following day to go pay some bills and found that they charged me $49.95. I called to Momentum Direct and spoke to a foreign guy who hardly spoke any english and told him a was canceling my free trial. He also promised to refund me my money.

Long story short, I never received my refund. When I called my bank, they told me that they can't do anything. Momentum Direct does not respond to my calls to 281-356-9939 and my emails all go unanswered.

    I too am a dummy .I return mine via post office with signature return request. I have e-mail twice asking to be cancel I've only had 1 with drawl from my account but am worried now that they will continue. Has anyone been able to get theirs stopped.

    If you have read all the other reports, you already know they will take anything they can.  

    If you don't want this to continue, then file a written dispute of any unauthorized charges with your bank, and close the account they are charging to block further unauthorized charges.  

    Follow up with written complaints to:
    1)  FTC
    2)  your state AG
    3)  Texas AG

    i ordered from momentum direct today.  nothing has been charged yet but i am scared.  What should i do??

    i called twice to get my fefund that i never ordered and they said that it would be sent out in the mail and all this blah blah crap and a day later they billed my account again for more money.  i would like my money back, since i didn't even know what this stuff was nor order it.

    I was sent a cream that i never knew I ordered. the email and phone number contact was some lady named tammy who is from kentucky. i live in cali. i never heard of this company and now they are sending me stuff. i don't know what account they are using to get their money i have no new activity on my credit report, no accounts opened. my credit and checking accounts do not show any strange deductions. so what do i do? i am trying to file a police report but sherriff is busy.

    I dont even know anything about this company, until they just started withdrawing money out of my account. I have never even brought anything from these people and I dont know how even know how they got my account information. All I know is I'm pissed off about it.

    I just find out I charged $58.93 from my checking without authorizing this action. Who will help us? I'm filing a complaint with Texas Attorney General

    I am a victim of the same type of fraud by Momentum Direct. I have tried calling them directly at 281-256-1400 and it doesn't even ring. I get nothing. I sent an email as well and still no response. I have asked for my $49.95 to be returned to my account immediately. I sent the bottle of pills back to them right away because I heard of the fraud that they have caused to others.

    It's always the same guy too, whiny voice, thich foreign accent that you can barely understand.

    Does anyone know if the bank will block certain companies from taking money out of your account?  I've only gotten charged once, and am still trying to get that money back.  After reading what other people have been through, I'm afraid they will charge me more, even though they promised my account was closed.

    These people are out to rip you off. You can put a stop payment on the check amount they withdraw but if they change it by one penny they can withdraw again. The best thing for you all to do is to change your bank acts. Close them out and start a new acct. The bank said when you report them to the BBB or federal trade commision they just get a warning and keep doing it. Please I warn you now. Change your bank acct number and never give it out again.

    I ordered this product and never received it.  It's been 2 weeks and they debited my checking account $8 for the shipping, but nothing else as of yet.  I am going to the bank with copies of all of these complaints and they are going to put a "watch-out" on my account so that this company can't STEAL any more of my money.  I tried calling and no one returned my calls or has emailed me back.  DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.  They have been reported by myself as well as many others to the BBB.

    Same thing happen to me several unauthorize withdrawls.  I closed my account back in August 07, then today 12-27-07 they sent me another bottle but, I never opened another account, so I guess they just think I will be stupid twice and send them so bank info that I do not have.

    biggest rip off ever...promise of refund...instead they debit your account
    again for $59.98...for something you do not receive....and make you send the trial order back.... after you have
    paid for the postage and $49.95 for the trial offer... not as advertised at all... I called and got a confirmation number for cancelation and was promised a refund by e-mail but was charged another $59.98 before I could
    get it stopped and now there is no response from them by e-mail or phone...
    advise..stay away from their web site or any offer from them..they are not
    what they advertise to be....IT IS FRAUD....

    $99.09 was debited out of my checking account without my authorization. I signed up for a free trial. I never received my free trial but I sure noticed the money taken out of my account, and when I called the customer service number listed, it was just a dead line. What do you do, you can't get a hold of the so called company the money is already gone and you've never received the free trial. WHAT A RIP OFF IS RIGHT.

    These people are crazy!!! I can't believe the number of fraudulent companies going on now a days. What ever happened to caring about each other. Everything is always about money!! [***]! They got me too, but I have just been waiting for 2 months for the product, like an idiot. Only paid them 7.95, and I bank with bank of america, who will look into it and fix it for me. Thank God.
