The Mega Iottery Picker 2018.   Writes a very professional looking letter but I knew it had to be a scam!
I would have loved to win the two million, eight hundred thousand dollars, but I knew it had to be a scam!
This was the third scam letter I have received this year, and I hope no one is taken in by these  despicable crooks.

I also received a letter different names Dr. John Lucas, Foreign Service Manager, etc.  two million eight hundred and fifty was the amount I won.  I had to go to Madrid, Spain to claim my price or pay a fee for delivery and of course 5% had to be paid to Safeway Securities.  Pleeeease, what a scam that is.

I also received a letter dated September 19th from Doctor David Luther from Madrid Espana and phone calls claiming everyone 4500000 United States dollars have to be present in Spain to pick up check or pay a insurance fee of $1,800 in a week from today's date which is September 25th that I have received a phone call supposedly from David Luther as well as yesterday claiming that I need to pay the $1,800 in a week to pay for a lady to fly to my home with the check. I asked I wanted more information to verify it's true and I was giving a number supposed to be to a John in Wisconsin that claims he had the winnings over a year ago which seems to be the same person voice. I also would be in on trying to find out how to catch these type of people.

I am 79 and also received the letter I think Publishers Clearing House shares our info because I never received anything like this until I did some games on Publishers Clearing House. They also make you buy garbage items so I will send this to congress with that info, of course nothing will happen because the US government has not done anything since 1980 least of all protect seniors but I will feel that I have done something.
Many seniors in France have been victimized from the African continent really terrible

I totally agree. Have purchased a few items from Publishers Clearing House and the items arrived late and were of very low quality. Worse still, this company now acts like a loan shark and bombards me with promotional fliers every other day and bills on items I never ordered . . .

Post Mark is from Portugal. Address on inside letter is in Madrid Spain,  "United State Dollars" is misspelled.  Fee is not the 5%, it will be whatever the agent thinks he can get from you.  The letter doesn't have your name on the actual letter, only on the envelope.  The letter is printed on an InkJet Printer. So, Mailed from Portugal, Written in English, Lots of important titles on the text     It is a Scam.  The premise is the same as the "get something for nothing" scam.  In this case you can add:  It's probably a scam if they need to get cash upfront to give you money.  (Why don't they just take the money they need out of the proceeds and give you the rest.).  And,  they want you to keep it secret (be selfish and don't share the money?  Naaahhh,  --don't tell anyone, because there are thousands of letters out there asking the same from others.
