Post Mark is from Portugal. Address on inside letter is in Madrid Spain,  "United State Dollars" is misspelled.  Fee is not the 5%, it will be whatever the agent thinks he can get from you.  The letter doesn't have your name on the actual letter, only on the envelope.  The letter is printed on an InkJet Printer. So, Mailed from Portugal, Written in English, Lots of important titles on the text     It is a Scam.  The premise is the same as the "get something for nothing" scam.  In this case you can add:  It's probably a scam if they need to get cash upfront to give you money.  (Why don't they just take the money they need out of the proceeds and give you the rest.).  And,  they want you to keep it secret (be selfish and don't share the money?  Naaahhh,  --don't tell anyone, because there are thousands of letters out there asking the same from others.

Received this same scam email - October 11, 2018.  Machine stamps on envelope were from Lisbon, Portugal on October 3, 2018.  Like others commenting, inserted letter says Madrid, Spain and has similar instructions plus similar names.

I also received a letter today from Mega Lottery Picker 2018 based in Madrid Espana stating that I won US$4.5 million (tax free0, but 5% of which should be kept  by Safeway Seguro as the promotion company. I was asked to ring Dr. Gerry Johnson at 01134654669583. Did a google search on this lottery institute that leads me to this page. Thanks for sharing these scam stories so that I don't have to fall into this trick.

My husband received the Chris Hunt 4,500,000 letter today.  Plain white envelope with no return address.  I wonder how they choose their victims.

My letter dated 10/17/18 was for 5.5 million. I was to contact Dr Anthony Ramos. It was signed with typed signature of Maria Lopez (General Secretary) which was scribbled over by someone else. Same story as the rest.  SCAM!!!

It's a shame that we (the public) have to endure these fraudulent attempts to separate us from our money via scams like the Mega Lottery or even the one from Publishers' Clearing house.  Beware and be smart not to buy into these ridiculous scams.

I spoke to a Dr.Antonio Reyes who put me in touch with Bankia Bank in Madrid. He said not to phone until 9:00 am my time and ask for a David Lemes. Well, I phoned the bank right after I had spoken to Dr
Reyes...the bank was answered from someone who spoke like Dr.Reyes. These people should be tossed in jail.

Got my letter yesterday signed by Henrik Cruz, General Secretary. $4,500,000.   Same 5% to be deducted. No excitement here. I knew it had to be another scam and also wish they could be caught.
