Recieved a call from a man named John Nelson, with very thick accent. He put his Supervisor, Anthony Johnson, on the phone, upon my repeated request,  demanding $956 to be paid immediately to a business called Cash Advance America for an alleged loan he claimed my wife failed to pay over a year ago. Never had a loan from them, never heard of them. He said if she didn't pay today that another company called American Law Division had a "senior" attorney ready to file suit against her tomorrow in "Oklahoma Court" for over $4000 after attorney's fee's. He had the last four digits of her social security number. He never could furnish our address. He claimed her employer was also being "investigated." He also called my wife at her work place earlier in the day. He told her she had failed to take care of her business and that she would "end up behind the bars."  She continued to ask for a Supervisor and was told by Anthony that he was the Supervisor. She asked for his Supervisor because, while he claimed to be American and had an American name, his accent was so thick she could not understand a word he was saying. He then started talking really quickly and shouting. She just kept shouting back for him to put someone who could speak English on the line and he hung up.  He also told her his company had sent 18 emails that had gone ignored. ROFL! Of course, those types of emails always get deleted!  Not a letter or correspondence one.  Just the emails... which, upon sifting through my past email logs were not found.  My wife was very upset and I told her it was a scam and I'd be able to find something on the internet to prove it. Of course, I have found that proof here. You'll also note, they never put a phone number on their web sites.  I'll have to see if they keep calling before I try to take any legal action, which I doubt would do any good since they are foreigners. I suppose I'll play along and make them mad everytime they call... who know's it might be fun!

    I received the same type of phone call today regarding an assumption of a $300 loan I received from Cash Advance America and a man named Eugene Baker who gave a badge # and case #.  He said there would be a warrant for my arrest for borrowing this  $300 loan with the intent not to pay.  EVERYONE BEWARE THEY ARE FRAUDULENT!!!!  DO NOT BORROW OR GO ON THE INTERNET AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.  IF YOU NEED MONEY BORROW FROM THE LOAN SHOP/STARCASHPROCESSING/ZIP19.COM - THESE ARE REAL LOANERS THAT WILL WORK WITH YOU AND GET YOU THE MONEY YOU NEED IN 1 TO 2 BUSINESS DAYS WITHOUT A BACKGROUND CHECK/CREDIT CHECK, ETC.

    My Mom Fell For It
    My mom got a call yesterday at work from an officer Richard Johnson Badge #95634. Phone #786-275-5079 & a fax #786-513-2882.When she called back she also got a Harry Nelson. They gave her a case #I7862-1140. He was extremely rude & told her she was going to get arrested and sued by Cash Advance of America for an unpaid payday loan. However, all my moms payday loans are paid. This Richard Johnson wanted 3000 dollars, my mom not thinking said she could only afford to pay $300. She was scared out of her mind. This guy knew everything, where she worked, her social, her phonenumbers, her email address. She sadly gave him her debit card info to pay the $300. I found out 2day about this and I sadly had to curse & yell at my mom for doing something so stupid. Shes now going to the bank to cancel her card and report the incident to the real police.

    My job and I keep getting threatning phone call from a law firm called anderson law firm that say that I did not pay cash advance america and that I am being brought on charges for check fraud if I do not pay 300.00 the number is from florida 1-786-275-5079 they even gave me a case number I7862-1140 and he gave me his batch number RJ95634 which I think is bogus he won't even give me paper work  the guy sound like he's indian or asian he said they tried to send me emails which is a lie when I asked when was this loan he said 2010 I never got a payday loan in 2010 what can I do to stop this maddness he have my job thinking I am committing Fraud!!!!HE SAID THAT IF i PAY i CAN STOP THE LEGAL CHARGES AGAINST ME.

    THEY STOPPED calling once I let them know what I researched about them on the internet and their fraudulent/scam activity.  Please continue to BEWARE AND BE AWARE OF CASH ADVANCE AMERICA!!!!!!

    I have also  received similar phone calls. These guys are a scam. They have all of your information to scare you. The only ones that need a case against them are themselves. What you need to do is put a fraud alert on your records through the 3 major credit bereu, Equifax 1-888-766-0008, TransUnion 1-800-680-7289, and Experian 1-888-397-3742. Next submit your complaint to the to the FTC. The man who called me had a thick Indian accent, and was rude. He told me I would have the authorities at my door if I did not pay the supposed loans I had taken out through Cash Advanced services of America. I never had taken out any loans through this company. Be careful not to fall for these online loan scams, be careful with the information you submit to anyone online. The man claimed he was with the US legal services, and his name was Joan Anderson. Also he called from phone number 904-584-8348.

    You need request a fraud alert through equifax, transunion, and experian. And then file a complaint with the FTC. I did all of this today. Let your boss know it is a fraud, and these people are trying to scam you. file those alerts ASAP incase they try and use your information. File the FTC too because it helps investigaters catch these guys.

    I just had a very disturbing phone threatning me with jail if i do not pay back a loan, i never requested! The guys name was David lee(very thick Indian accent) and he even left a voice message. (i saved it of course). When i started asking questions, he said, if i didnt let him finish what he was reading, that i would suffer the wrath of getting arrested tomorrow at  my work. When i kept interrupting, he hung up. Anyways, i called back and i got another guy, (didnt catch his name) And he tried looking me up with my number and he couldnt find it. Anyways, the first guy must've deleted my information when i told him, i was taking this phone call to the cops, because someone is obviously stealing my identity. He was rude and yelling at me. I filed a complaint with the FTC. I have the voicemail and number to prove it. He dialed me from 626-384-3258. Please do not fall for this trick. Tell him, everything on your phone is recording and that you will call the cops.

    I got a call from them today at 804-277-9078.  He said he was from the "Bureau of Investigations" and I had a payday loan that I never paid back.  I have never had a payday loan, lol.  I told them I didn't know what they were talking about.  I called them back and told them I had already sent a complaint to the FBI and wanted to know what their name was.  He was yelling at me and I yelled back and told him that it was fraud he hung up on me.

    I receive a phone call from 8042779078, telling me that i was going to jail because i was covering somebody that I don't even know, supposedly this was a collections agent I repeatedly told him to pleas take my number from his list he told me that he wont and that he was on the way to arrest me with a cop.  It was somebody with an Indian accent and he called like 4 times in a row.

    I got a call from this same number 626-384-3258. Said his name was Kevin Cyrus. Same crap as everyone else on this web site. Had my bank numbers, full social and everythings else. What a scam.

    I got a call from a guy named Andrew Johnson and that he's calling me from Anderson Lawfirm... He left a nasty voicemail on my phone and was yelling at the same time...So I called back the # I got from my voicemail and I spoke to one of the agent and gave me my Case # and his badge #... And he was telling me that CASH ADVANCE AMERICA was suing me because they transfer $300 on my account and that when they tried authorizing my bank account it says insufficient fund and that is why I'm getting sued by them.. The agent even asked me if I want to settle this outside the court or in the court.. I asked him how much do I have to pay if I settle it outside the court and he said $500 something... I kept telling him that I never borrowed any money from any loan company and that I haven't had any transactions what so ever on my bank account regarding transfer from them... I was soo mad and just hanged up the phone, and fortunately they never call back... The # will be 786-275-5079 and that they are from Anderson Lawfirm.. Oh BTW they have heavy accent...

    I received a call within the last few days with the same bogus claims for debts owed from back in February. Within the last three weeks i had pursued online payday advance options but the only ones that were respnding to me were scammers and rip-off artists that needed a payment made first through western union.Get real!!The call I received came from the Southwest Florida area and a man named Dennis Lake. He had a strong accent that sounded like he was from India, just like all the other con artists I had spoken with.

    I've been getting these calls for a few days..They really had me scared like I had done something even though I knew I hadn't..His name Is frank harris he said I would be arrested if I did not pay them back by today. The number they called from was 804-277-9078 ext 572..Very heavy accent & Is very rude.

    I've gotten 10 calls to my work phone from these people.  I called them back and told them to stop calling my work or they will get me fired and the guy is claiming to send officers to my work to arrest me, he then said I will surely get fired.  I told him how can you get money from me when I am fired from my job.  I also proceeded to tell them that I've already notified Cash Advance America and they informed me that he was fraud.  He then treatened me again about having me being arrested for talking about to an officer, (now he is an officer).

    This is CRAZY!  These people need to be stopped.   the number they called from shows up as a wireless call 626-384-3258

    I have received several phone calls from this phone number and voicemails left on my phone. He also has been saying that he is taking me to court. When I told him our conversation was being recorded and that I was going to take this information of his so called law firm name to my lawyer; he hung up. I called again and he hung up on me. Now I called for a third time and he doesn't answer the phone anymore. He also stated that he couldn't tell me what this was in reference to when I asked him.

    Me too guys.  They first called my cell on 10/4 and left me an 'urgent' message to call them back and if they didn't hear from me or my lawyer, then they wished me the best of luck in 'this matter'.  I was worried at the time and I called them back and they guy told me I owed money to Cash Advance America and to listen to their instructions and do not interupt them.  They said they were with Anderson Law Group and that they were sending the police to my work to arrest me the next day if I didn't pay and that they had three claims against me for not paying back a payday loan (which i NEVER applied for). When I told them that I did not borrow any money, he put me on hold and hung up on me.  I called back and told the person who answered that I never borrowed money and demanded to know what was going on, he put me on hold and hung up on me too.  By the third time, I was furious and freaked out on the guy who answered.  He actually seemed to get worried and told me that they would not contact me again since I said I did not borrow money and that they would research it with Cash Advance America and call me back the next day.  Needless to say I did not hear from him the next day, but last night, I received another voicemail, same as the first one.  This morning, I had one more 'follow up' call demanding that I call them back.  They called from 508-313-2173 the first time and 347-468-9571 the second time. How ridiculous.  Thankfully you are all out there to forewarn me.  Otherwise, I would have been a complete mess this week!
