My sister purchased a lift recliner made by Lazy Boy. She paid 1500.00 for this chair. When the chair goes back to the recline position, the foot rest does not come all the way up, so you are laying back with your legs going into a down position that makes you start sliding out of the chair. while I was there visiting her, I found this to be very uncomfortaable and asked her to call the store that she purchased it from. She did, and they called the manufacturer who sent out a repair man to fix the problem. He came out and said that this is a problem with all of the chairs and there was nothing that could be done with it. It is the way the chair is made. She tried out the demo model in the store and the leg rest went all the way up. He said that all of the chairs made now have the same problem!.
This is totally wrong. She is invalid and needs to get her legs up! Not sliding in a downward slope. It seems that Lazy boy should refund her money or fix the chair!

I got the most expensive lift and massage chair they sell because of my knee replacement. It cost 2300.00. The leg rest does not go all the way up. The massage unit started making noise 2 months after I got it. They replaced it 10 days ago now it is making noise again.

I have a luxery lazyboy lift chair. The chair works fine except the backrest only reclines a little. The motor is running while I'm trying to lay back but it only goes back slightly. I can actually push hard and lay it back but it won't stay back. Is there something I can do to adjust tension or something so I can lay back? Help!

We purchased a top of the line massage/heat chair from lazy boy for $2,500.00  The massage will work and then shut off after about 20 minutes. That’s reasonable but when you want to put the massage back on it comes on for only 10 SECONDS! Lazy boy tells us the chair has to rest for awhile before you can resume with the massage!!!!  Has anyone ever heard about this before???  A repairman came out several times to fix it, BUT NOW THEY TELL US THE CHAIR HAS TO REST!!!!

I have an older lazboy lift chair with heat and massage. It will go up but not down. replaced control wand  a couple of years ago. It had same problem, that fixed it until know.  I had a breaker go bad in panel box without a surge protector. could that be the problem?
