I received 3 harrassing phone calls from a man with a very heavy Indian thick accent claiming he has a law suit against me. I need to get to the bottom of this.

    I too just received an email from the ACS Incorporation but with a different number.  Same exact total owed to them and same threat. Here is the email.  People are really despirate.

    I just got the very exact same email, same amount, same working.  Why can't people like this be stopped?  Sadistic [***].

    I just recieved this EXACT email just moments ago! It is the EXACT email as what I have just read in this post. Each and every one of thse emails have the EXACT amount they claim that is owed $986.45 AND a law suit which will be amounting to $4579.26  Both amounts the same, secondly a business like this would NEVER use gmail.  Below is a copy of the EXACT email they send to me also.

    Unbelievable!  I just received the same thing.  I have worked with our State Division of Consumer Finance and I forwarded the email to them.  The first thing is, they used an email I never use to apply for anything, and the second is that they use the same amount in emails to everyone.  I had something similar to this a few months ago, different company but when I googled the phone number I saw that other people got the same message with the same amounts due.  I am not even going to call these people.  I thought of replying to their email but I'm not sure if I should.  Like I don't have enough to worry about!

      Ive received a similiar email stating in 48 hrs ill be prosecuted for check fraud. So i call and an Indian man says he cant give me any information id be contacted via email. Email states i borrowed $300 and have made no attempt to repay. They state they have 11 pieces of proof that i received the payment and i signed electronic contract with my ss number and even have last 4 digits of my ss number. Wow im distraught!

    I also just filed a complaint with the agency they say they use, the Internet Crime Complaint Center.  The website says it is affiliated with the FBI.  How ironic if our friends at ACS Legal Dept. gets in trouble with the very agency they claim is helping them!

    Just found out
    I didn't receive an email from them I got a messaged forwarded from human resources that was left from an Anthony Alonzo stating that he was a private investigator licensed here in California and that he would be serving me in 2 hrs. I haven't heard of someone calling to schedule and appointment to served with a cout date. Some of the persons that I talk to sounded legit and spoke clear english so they got me for $100 but since something was still not sitting right I looked on the BBB and found no information about ACS and so I called an attorney friend and got some advice. He said that unless the provide something in US mail and with company name and license it's a scam. I am not sure how they got some of my information but they had it. When they contacted me it was in regards to writing fraudlent checks. which I knew wasn't true. Any how I have filed complaints with the FTC and put a fraud alert with experian and a don't call. Lat thing is to contact FBI and file police report. I am waiting and ready for their next call now that I am sure they are a scam.

    they didn't use ACS legal when they called me they just used ACS. I have seen other postings where they used ACS group along with different number 877-769-1260and they other day I got a missed call from 000-000-0000 or usually unknown. As long as we keep posting others will become aware and maybe we can stop them that way at least stop this scam.

    Is there not any legal actions which can be taken against this? I have had this guy calling me for a year, and then stopped, and now just now i recieved an email from him. I am fed up with this crap. Please let me know if anyone has any information

      well I have been recieving calls at my work from these people  also for months now also, after reading all these complaints i know its the same people.they  leave a name of  mac johnson and a phone number.yea american name and foreign acent.they said I owed a payday loan also like they are telling other people. today 5/9/12 I read an email I got from acs inc. saying they have contacted me several times, no response from me. so the give a case no. say they will downhload it to me,  bunch of bull

    I wish some how or some way these ppl could be STOPPED!!!!!! This is ridiculous!! I got another phone call today from another company that is contracted out of the LLC place that was calling me. There are so many ppl that fall for this and I makes me sick to think that they are doing this to ppl. Something needs to be done. Idk what but something. I have been getting phone calls for 2 years now.

    Just recieved the same email word for word. I first replied back wondering what this was all about. They said it is for a company called Advance Cash Services.Funny how I have never used them. Good thing I didn't give them any of my banking info. These people have been trying to pull scam after scam on me by calling my phone. Now they are just trying a different way that will not work either

    Just received the same email.  I wrote back to them asking them who they were and what account this was for.  Asked them to verify the amount - the wrote $478.9 and I called them on that - if they can't type an email how can they collect money.  Also told them if I didn't hear from them I would contact my attorney.  Can't want to hear their response.

    ACS is trying to get money from people who used Advanced Cash services.  I do know for a fact that this service filed for over charging clients.  I received a check and letter stating such and that I was entitled to it back.
