I just spoke to The Zeal Money Management Company and hoping I will get my refund in 5 to 7 days who knows. Just the chance to vent my anger at their sly tactics and deceitfulness was worth the few minutes. Take my advice go and shut down your current account because other preditors will be looking to take your money without your consent.

my thought, dont enter your bank account information anywhere online. thats how this happens. it happens to everyone from anywhere not just them. so play it safe just dont do it unless you check into it.
I never put my account information on the internet. They can get your banking information by my understanding from my credit union through other sources. For instance, having your mortgage payment debited from your account.

I just filled my complaint with the FTC, and i am also contacting the Utah Dept. of Commerce. My bank says they can only take action after the charge clears. Being in law enforcement they will not get over on this one.

I had the same thing happen $29.95 taken out of my checking account. I called Zeal and was told they never heard of me could not find my email in their system but I probably applied for a pay day loan (which I didn't), and I would hear back from someone via a phone call within 7 days. I contacted my bank, and the BB. After about 2 days I received an e-mail from a person with a gmail account with a message that they were from Zeal and will refund my money. I replied with "if you work for Zeal" why is your e-mail address a Gmail email, and not a company (Zeal) email. I received a nasty message back telling me they were from Zeal and didn't asked any account info. I replied with a message that I called Zeal, filed a complaint with the BB, talked to the fraud dept at my bank (filed a claim) and was going to contact the CA Attorney General's office. That was 7 days ago and was my last email from the person. I don't think I will ever get the $29.95 back. I did close my account at the bank, but am afraid to pay my bills on line anymore.

I just called Zeal. I had in fact applied for a payday loan online. Although I declined the loan they had a membership fee. Simply called and killed them with kindness. They are refunding the money. Simple for me.

My $29.95 has been refunded!
I called the number listed on the transaction on my bank's Website. I told them i had no idea what this was and they did refund my money. It took about 5 days but my refund showed up this morning.
If you call 888-485-8578, they should be able to help you. I was told they got my email address and account information from a payday loan vendor, not sure how they were able to authorize anything like that but they did offer to refund it for me. I also told them to stop any transaction from going through in the future.
I also called that same number and was told they will refund my $29.95 in five days. I am waiting to see. My Credit Union will take care of me even if they don't. I will have to close my account and re-open another but that is ok with me. Security is better anyway.
The same happened to me on 10/18. They did refund my money this morning after I told them I knew they were a fraud company and I would be filling papers on them through my bank, which I did. These frauds are ridiculous!!

I also had $29.95 taken out of my account. I contacted the company and told them I did not authorize this deduction and was going to file a complaint with my bank if it was not put back into my account. They assured me they would credit my account within 5 work days and they did.

The above two posts have virtually identical wording, and were posted on the same date.
They may be shill posts by employees of the company, intended to direct consumers down a path in the interest of the merchant rather than the consumer.
There have been other similar posts showing up recently, with similar wording.

I just checked my online banking and I get this charge for $29.95 and overdraft my bank account. I've never heard of this company and I called my bank to inform them so now I have to call and dispute cause I don't know who the freak this company are.

Woke up to 29.95. Missing out of my bank account from Zeal as well and I have no idea who they are nor did I authorize the transaction. Sadly I have to wait for a bank investigation before anything can be credit back. I will contact my attorney general consumer protection, the federal. Trade commission and the bbb.

I was just on-line checking our account and noticed a $29.95 withdrawl from our account to Zeal Money Solutions who are these people we went right to our bank they took care of everything.
