It is now May 2011 and I still can't register my washer.  What is wrong with you people?  I bought a Maytag because it was made in this country, but it seems you can't work computers.

Well, now it's March 2014, and, I'm having no luck in registering my Maytag Refrigerator! This company
wants to get paid to do so!!! I paid $2500 for this product in May 2012. I'll never buy USA products again.

I have experience the same thing.  They clearly say to go to www.Maytag.
com to register.  I have been chased all over the web trying to find it!  They do need to catch up with the rest of the world!  I do love my product (so far) though.  Ok, get the pen out and do it through the mail! (ridiculous!)

Can't find the website to register my dryer. The website on the registration card takes me to an automobile website. I just read at leat 2 YEARS of COMPLAINS about REGISTERING Maytag/Admiral products, and STILL the problem has not been resolved!

The CEO is obviously playing too much golf.

Its 6/15/2011 and I am having trouble registering my Maytag Range on their web site.
I read the complaints for Dec. 2010 and they haven't corrected it yet. What is going on?
    I hope I don't regret purchasing a Maytag.

to above comment get frustrated when having to deal with these issues from an established company- should have said the site says my serial no is wrong well they put the number on the paperwork- so it is their mistake- me thinks they just want to sell product and then don't give a darn about customer's- but without us they will go out of business

Wehave just purchased from Lowes in South Carolina a Bravos MayTag 5.0 134 cycle washer and was told there are at least one rebate of $50.00.  Are there more than one rebate?  What do we have to send in?  Please advise and thanks,

I just tried it and it actually works.  Just registered my fridge.  You have to go through the customer service side of the site to get to the link.  Try this:
    https://www.maytag.ca/en/Registration/Default.html

But you're right, it's too painful to have to hunt for something like that.

I read the note Maytag posted in Dec 2010 and obviously they need to hire someone in the computer program field to completely re-do the on-line registration.  God help us all if their service dept is as as bad.  I spent less time buying the refrigerator than trying to register the damn thing.

A Whirlpool of Junk Mail ~ No Thanks!
Product registration cards and consumer surveys from the website https://www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs4-junk.htm#9, section "Junk Mail, How did they all get my address"

Be aware that warranty or "product registration" cards have less to do with warranties than they do with mailing lists. These cards often ask you about your hobbies, the number of people in your household, your income, and other information the company obviously does not need to guarantee the product.

Registration cards are usually not mailed to the company that manufactured the product, but to a post office box in Denver, Colorado, of Equifax Direct Marketing Solutions (formerly Polk). This company compiles buyer profiles and sells the information to other companies for marketing purposes. Experian also compiles consumer information from registration forms. (See information about removing your contact information from these companies in number 4 above.)

California law requires companies to inform consumers that the card or form is for product registration. The statement cannot state or imply that the form is for warranty registration. The statement must also inform the consumer that failure to complete and return the card or form does not diminish your warranty rights. (California Civil Code 1793.1)

When you buy a product, generally you should not fill out the product registration card. In most cases your receipt ensures that you are covered by the warranty if the product is defective. If you decide to send the registration card, include only minimal information: name, address, date of purchase and product serial number. (For some products you may want the company to have a record of your purchase in case there is a safety recall.)

You should always complete the product registration card for any durable infant’s or toddler’s products such as cribs, toddler beds, strollers, car seats, play yards, swings, and high chairs. This information allows you to be contacted if there is a recall. The information from cards for these specific types of products cannot be used for marketing or other commercial purposes. For more information read http://kidsindanger.org/publications/brochures/2010_PR_Brochure.pdf

Note that the Product Registration Card that came with my refrigerator states that "Your answers (to this questionaire) will be used for market research studies and reports. They will also allow you to receive important mailings and special offers from a number of fine companies whose products and services relate directly to the specifid interest, hobbies, and other information indicated above....FAILURE TO RETURN THIS CARD WILL NOT DIMINISH YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS."

    Thanks but no thanks!!
