Bizapedia Will Not Remove Me from Its Directory

Bizapedia published my business address and home address even though my business was closed over ten years ago. I have offered a Certificate of Dissolution as proof, but it will not budge, and my Secretary of State's office said that it does not remove businesses (even defunct ones) from its public records.

    Bizapedia, LLC   3225 McLeod Dr Ste 100 Las Vegas, NV 89121 has a  BBB rating F    and  is not BBB Accredited  AND their company status has been    Revoked   see  Nevada Secretary Of State  link below. Bizapedia is a MURAY MOORE and a Laughlin Associates with 33+ different entiies in numerous USA States. Many of their holdings are gambiling casinos.

    The freedom of Speech is rubbish Bizapedia is operatiing with a revoked License ( see  Nevada Secretary Of State  link belowNevada) and Better Business Bureau, reports this company with the lowest rating that is possible FFFF

      so i have now found my business and my personal info on this defunct.. bad for business and danger to my home and children.. and self site..i have tried every method to contact BBB on them.. since they are default i am hitting roadblocks.. did you know they have a fb page to.. of course you cannot message.. contact or anything.. i have no webpage by personal choice so i cannot even contact bizpedia thru their own system...how do i handle this... I am livid.. and enraged..

    I called the number that was provided on this page and got a fax.
    I haven't been affiliated with the company they listed me with
    for since 1991. I sent them an e-mail and they returned one saying
    that according to the governing body of the company that I'm
    supposed to be president of, I'm still active with that company.  Does anyone
    have a good phone number for the firm that handles that company?

    They would not remove my information either.  They wanted me to sign an agreement and send them a copy of my driver's license. I'm not going to do that. I'm going to look into a legal way to force them to remove my information.

    I am a Privacy & Security Consultant and might be able to offer a little information based on this situation.

    What Bizapedia is doing is protected by the Freedom of Information Act. Posting public information, even at a price, is not illegal and protected by law. Plenty of companies do this. In fact, the address for my business is posted on their site. The only information they are positing, is what information is being provided by the state the company is filed in.

    However, the address that is posted for my business is the address for a private mailbox at a UPS Store because I pay for a box there. This is something that I highly recommend to anyone starting a business from home so they aren't having their home address plastered all over the internet.

    As far as the people filing complaints with the BBB. Please remember that the BBB is NOT a government agency but a business that is paid by other businesses. Having your page on the BBB "revoked" can be as simple as no longer paying the dues to the BBB. The grades on that site is based off of the opinions by people within the BBB when they get complaints. Your best option is of course filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, but remember, this company is doing nothing illegal and is actually protected by the Freedom of Information Act.

    If you don't like this, call your Congressman and complain. Just don't be surprised if they are one of the ones who voted for the Freedom of Information Act to begin with.

    I'm with Pulliam Design Group, LLC. We hired a girl to help me out doing secretarial work. She did nothing but play her game. So the owner fired her and she went crazy., and I never logged out of Bizapedia.  I've been emailing  Bizapedia to ask them how to delete or edit a bad review. They have yet  to respond . It's been 2 days now and my boss wants her review off his company. She used my name so there has to be a way to edit or delete it. Can someone please help me either tell me how to delete or edit since it's under my name.. please help me edit or delete or have a phone number for Bizapedia.
