I have only recieved 1 solicitation call from Globalreach and hopefully it will be the last. Here's how it goes:
6:30pm dinner time of course, I get a call and foolishly answer it. I gete a very fast talking (reading) salesman spending most of our time informing me how extremely reputable globalreach is, 5 minutes into this and I still have no idea what he wants. I am then put on hold, you gotta love that.
Chris the closer picksup and tells me about my free trip for 2. Ask where the wife and I would like to go? I have no wife!
well then the girlfriend? I have no girlfriend!
His next sales pitch is: Your a "[***] [***] [***]" at which times he hangsup.

You got to be kidding me!?

They called my house at almost 9:30 pm last night. I called back demanded to be removed from the list as we are on the DNC list. Well they just called me again! Its nearly 8 pm.

I am furious, and getting ready to contact those "on your side" segments the local news has. Isn't calling after 9 pm illegal to begin with?

This number has also been calling my cell phone number incessantly over the past several days. I always make it a habit to not answer calls I don't recognize - and after about the 3rd call decided to Google the number. My suspicions were confirmed by all on here that this is a telemarketer and not a call I want to take. I'm not sure if all of you have the option to do so, but I blocked the number (213-430-4299) via my online account at VerizonWireless.com. I was also getting a call from another telemarketer and blocked that number as well. So far, no calls have come through. Definitely worth a try with whoever your personal phone provider might be!

I started getting calls from them last week. I did not answer. They called back every 15 min to 1/2 hour. I blocked their number. From what I read here it looks like they change their number every few weeks. I'm just going to have to wait until they start calling me from a different number now. *SIGH*

Here’s how I got them to stop:

    1.  I registered for the Do Not Call list.
    2.  I tried to answer the phone every time they called for about three days.  I let them go through their lines every time, and eventually got this line:  “And what would you like a grant for?  Business, education, or personal use?”  I told him, “There is no such thing as a personal-use grant; so this is a scam.  Do not call me again.”  He apologized, said “Have a nice day” and they haven’t called since.

If they’re calling about grants, tell them how you know they’re a scam.  If they don't mention the personal-use grants, bring it up yourself.  They're desperate to get you, so they'll likely say that you can get a personal grant.  Then call them out.  If this doesn't work, then report them to the FTC and hope they do something about it.  Good luck, everybody.

What good does a complaint do, we need to know who to call to report this company and how to get them to stop.  There must be someone out there who knows something about the law.  This is harrassment, maybe we should all get together and file a complaint to the right person, company, business, whatever. A lawsuit would be nice.

They have already called 4 times, 3 times today. If they continue to call, here is what i am going to say:
Ok. Listen. This is the 3rd time you have called today and I am getting sick of you calling. Please take me off your call list. I am recording this call. If you continue to call me, i will report you to the
government because you know what this is called, it is called harrasment.
And if you still continue to call, i will also block your companys phone number.Thank you. Have a good day.

They have called me at least 10 times in the last two days.  I am ill, in and out of the hospital, and they constantly wake me up.  Asking them to take you off their call list doesn't do any good because they are to stinking ignorant to know what it means.  If I could get my hands on these turkeys I would tear their throats out.

been receiving calls from Global Reach International for couple of days. 213-426-2705    They keep asking for my minor son who they say applied for government grants for college on line. They just called wanting to send me a proposal package for him to fill out and return. I only had to pay $2.87 for shipping. I did not give them my credit card number. I then began to search on line for their company to see if it is a scam. She said they were going to call back later.

This company calls my home number numerous times a day and evening.  I have finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.  Hope it helps.
The BBB had them listed with an "F" rating

We all sound like a broken records.  The number they've been calling me from for almost a month is 213-430-4298.  ( I have not answered yet)  Next time they call, I'm going to answer the phone and use my coaches whistle--maybe they'[ll get the message!

The more we learn from each other the better our chances are for getting rid of them!

I've had a couple of calls from them over the past week.  The one time I picked up, they said I'd expressed interest in a grant, asked what I wanted to use it for, leisure, school, home.  I told them I had no interest, needed to get to work and they were polite and let me go.
