I have only recieved 1 solicitation call from Globalreach and hopefully it will be the last. Here's how it goes:
6:30pm dinner time of course, I get a call and foolishly answer it. I gete a very fast talking (reading) salesman spending most of our time informing me how extremely reputable globalreach is, 5 minutes into this and I still have no idea what he wants. I am then put on hold, you gotta love that.
Chris the closer picksup and tells me about my free trip for 2. Ask where the wife and I would like to go? I have no wife!
well then the girlfriend? I have no girlfriend!
His next sales pitch is: Your a "[***] [***] [***]" at which times he hangsup.

You got to be kidding me!?

    They call me regularly also.  No one is there when you pick up.  They call early in the morning and sometimes late at night.

    More numbers to add to the list.  They called me 3 times in one hour from this #.  213-452-6533.  I could barely understand the guy on the phone. He asked for me but I told him "She is not here is there a message I can take for her".  He said something I could not understand so I just hung up.

    These people have been calling my house every morning at exactly 8:30 am and every afternoon at exactly 4:30 pm. I do not care about the afternoon call since I am at work but the early morning one wakes me up, just to find out it is a telemarketing call. I am so glad caller ID was invented. These calls have gone on for the past month and I am just about sick of it, myself. I don't know how to get rid of the calling but I am going to find out.

    I've been getting 3-5 daily calls from these scum bags too.  They keep calling from 213-452-6533.  The phone rings twice then they hang up.  I answered a call from them a couple weeks ago and they asked for someone who doesn't, and never has, lived here.  I told them that and to stop calling.  They called today and I yelled at them again and was told they'd put me on thier do not call list.  Not 30 minutes later, I got another call from them!!!!  I have been on the DNC list for years and these yaahoo's are the only ones calling me.  

    I went to the DNC web site to file a complaint and got this reply:

    "We Are Unable to Accept Your Complaint

    The phone number 213-452-6533 was registered on July 10, 2009. Companies may call you for up to 31 days after that date. You may file a complaint if a company calls you after August 10, 2009.

    I hope not answering will work, bacause I have been doing this for days now. they call me every 15 to 20 minutes and they are driving me nuts.  We need to stop them.

    Just got off the phone with a salesman. I played dumb. He was reading off of a sheet of paper for his pitch. I still went with it. asked for a personal grant which we all know is [***]. Then he proceeded to ask for the credit card. I refused to give it to him. I asked him like 2 questions he couldnt answer so he put me on hold. Then his "Closer" got on the phone which i know it was probably someone sitting next to his desk and kept asking for my credit card #. I said no once again and asked him some other questions not even grant related. He ignored the ?? i asked. He asked me how would i like to take care of the $1.95 visa, mastercard, or discover? I hung the phone up.

    These people call me at least 3 times a day, usually when I'm not home. When I am home, just do what I do......hit the "answer" button on your phone (if it's not a cell phone), and just lay the phone down and walk off. If they're going to waste my time, I'm going to waste some of theirs by them connecting to a call with nobody there to listen to their garbage. At least it makes me laugh!

    I have gotten (7) calls from them today,they also call me,let it ring twice and then hang up.Oh and (4)calls yesterday.Let me get ahold of one of them and I'll ripp them a new you know what.

    Most of the guys doing the post here should have investigated first. First of all, US companies operating call center operations in the Philippines are leasing Globalreach facilities and voice gateways to reach out to their targets in the US and elsewhere. Globalreach is just doing business and they are not doing the unsolicited calls. Globalreach has no control of the calls being made in the same manner that AT&T and Verizon has no control of the guys making the calls using their lines. We specifically advised our client call centers to refrain from making unsolicited calls but how do you think we can prevent that. If you are bothered, get the name of the caller and the company h/she represents and direct the complaint to their organization.

    Give me a break! These guys are scam artists and if Globalreach is so reputable, why are they allowing scammers to lease their lines?

    As far as getting the name of the caller - are you NUTS?  They hang up as soon as you don't buy into their scam.  As far as I'm concerned, it's Globalreach that needs to be reported.

    I now am getting calls every half hour from Globalreach.My question is what is the best method to get these calls to stop. Should I ignore them? Should I answer and threaten them?
