I have only recieved 1 solicitation call from Globalreach and hopefully it will be the last. Here's how it goes:
6:30pm dinner time of course, I get a call and foolishly answer it. I gete a very fast talking (reading) salesman spending most of our time informing me how extremely reputable globalreach is, 5 minutes into this and I still have no idea what he wants. I am then put on hold, you gotta love that.
Chris the closer picksup and tells me about my free trip for 2. Ask where the wife and I would like to go? I have no wife!
well then the girlfriend? I have no girlfriend!
His next sales pitch is: Your a "[***] [***] [***]" at which times he hangsup.
You got to be kidding me!?

Then get your phone admin to block these numbers at the phone switch.
If personal number, see if your phone service has call screening. If not, get a spare PC with a Caller ID capable dial-up modem, and use a program such as "PhoneTray" to block these calls.
If on a corporate Blackberry, have your administrator block the number at the Blackberry server.
If on a regular cell phone, collect all friends, colleagues, neighbors, associates, family, and friendly bussinesses, put them all on your contacts list, then use an option similar to: "accept only calls from your contact list"
Never give out your real phone number to anyone who asks. Heck... if you so desire, why not give out one of Jay's phone numbers as your "real" number.
Other things I've heard are to get an air horn, answer as "Sheriff's Department", ask why they're calling the scene of a recent homicide (thank you Tom Mabe), give false information to them, etc.
Be inventive....
I would think the fcc would get wind and do something.

give a damn that its 10;30 and past my bead time. I'm almost 80. About the time I get to sleep they wake me up trying to screw me out of part of my
limited fixed income. My wife is disable. She don't need that crap as well.
I wouldn't deal with them even if they were honest just because they are
a bunch rude [***]. I have asked to be put on there do not call list.
So far it hasn't worked.
Thanks for the pop off valve.
