How can your report this to the "Do Not Call List" when their phone number does not show up on caller ID?  My ID always says "Unavailable 1".

I just received a phone call from a James Thompson with a very thick Middle Eastern accent claiming to be a verification officer for US Fed Grant Dept. @ 200 Independence Ave, S. W., Washington, D.C. 20201 working under the Ministry of Health and Human Services. He told me I qualified for a $10,000.00 free Government Grant (this was the first clue that he was bogus! free money, yeah right!!!) I also had to donate to charity they will provide and send it thru Western Union; once I provide then with MTCN, then they will release the grant...I was once a Western Union agent and these type of scams are really effective and they victimize the most vulnerable especially the elderly.  Please stop these criminals!!! I was provided with a contact numberd to get my grant: (202)657-6761 and another man answered also with a Middle Eastern accent claiming to be a US Gov Agency and an affiliate of account manager Amanda Parker?

"Ministry of Health and Human Services"

In the US, "ministry" has a religious meaning, not a governmental agency meaning.

They are a bunch of swindlers, probably in India or Pakistan.

    The Pissed  Americian
I was also contacted by this number and told  that i was selected to recieve a $10,000 government grant. All i had to do is send a $199  donation to a charity of my choosing. This is [***] , especially in a time like this in americia . These criminals need to be caught , lined up in time square , and for their crimes publicly  punished and broadcast all across the world. Not to get away with all the money and slapped on the hand like Madolf & Holder.

I just got the call and the same middlx eastern accented guy named willie told me i was going to get 8400 dollars too! He assured me it wasn't a scam and said he would stay on the phone with me while the made the transfer to my Walmart card! I asked him why they couldn't just take it out of the 8400 and he said they can't do it that way, I have to pay the one time donation then get the funds. This is crap and i want to report them but to who?

I live in San Antonio, TX and received a call today from someone with an accent alleging I had been rewarded a grant from the US Federal Govt. form D.C. in the amount of $8400.00 and could use it for anything I wanted as long it was not contraband items.  They ask me for a card to put my money on and I gave them a reloadable card that is useless just in case this was a scam.  They gave me a number to call with a confirmation number.  The number is 202-499-1578 and I called it, it rung 3 times and went dead, the person's name they told me to speak with was Donald Webb.  The name made me laugh because I thought of Donald Duck.  Watch out for these people, IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!
