"The person calling uses the name "John" asks to speak to the same person each time he calls, he is rude if he does speak "

Probably a debt collector, or someone pretending to be a debt collector.

"Vitelity LLC" is a provider of VoIP phone service, that is commonly used by a number of telemarketers, particularly calling from out of the country or overseas.  They also frequently show up on caller id in connection with fraudulent telemarketing complaints, including advance fee "loan" scams, phony "payday loan debt collection" scams, etc.

The call might be coming from anywhere in the world.

Best response is to not answer, as it's probably a "con" of some sort.

If you do talk to them, DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY, and DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY ID OR ACCOUNT INFORMATION.  These calls are often scams or phone extortion rackets.

I have recently been receiving calls from "Vetelity, LLC".  Since I have caller ID and got thoroughly tired of telemarketers calling, even though I am on theNational Do Not Call registry, I simply do not answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.  Best way to handle nuisance calls--don't let them even talk to you!

These are calls from Portfolio Recovery.  Trying to collect on a charge card of my son's that is 15+ years old.  Hasn't lived with us for at least this same length of time.  I hope if we continue to ignore the MANY calls daily this might stop.  Don't know what to do

there is also another number *57 i think ...that will trace the call and you can get the police involved because those are considered harrasing calls and they can be sued and fined severely if they do not stop.   good luck             jay

They called my 82 year old mother saying they were with dish network and was offering Cinemax free for 3 months if she paid for HBO and Showtime.  When my mother said if he looked at her account he could see she already gets HBO and Showtime.  Person said he did not have access to her account.  I told her not to talk to them any more.

These people have been calling my neighbors and my family telling them that I was to receive an award. Then they started asking questions about my personal life and what I do for a living and what my hobbies are. These people are just a CON trying to get into ypur life like hacking into you computer to steel info. DON'T Answer them and tell your friends and family not to talk to them. Report them to the Fed. Vitelity, LLC  keeps calling me also.  They are totally lawless and
should be stopped.  I tried calling the Federal Trade commission and now I have a complaint about them.  They ask the same questions
over and over and you never get to speak to anyone.

Their website is www.vitelity.com.   Did some research and they are in Colorado.  They don't appear to have a real office as the address is 7900 E Union Ave, Denver, CO.  This address belongs to Regus Executive Offices.  When you go and ask for vitelity, they don't even have a permanent office there. These guys are the ones supplying the service to all these shady telemarketing and con artists.  They need to be shut down by the FTC.  Vitelity phone number is 888-898-4835.  How about we all call them and give them a taste of their own medicine.

I got a msg saying I entered a sweepstake online and won a $40 Visa card. Said to call an 800 number to claim my prize.  Caller ID showed Vitelity, LLC and the # they called from was 724-260-8169.  I never enter sweepstakes and knew it was a scam. It appears they are calling with a lot of different scams and in all locations.

I received a call yesterday afternoon from a man wanting to put a sign in my yard for a General Electric Security co. and I would be given free equipment plus a medical alert monater. Told him I wasn't interested and he was very rude, said it would be my lost. Then tonight around 7:16pm, I received another call from Vitelity, LLC. phone number 727-264-1285, but they would not say anything.
I want these calls to stop.
