Company has called my home eigtheen since March first. The person calling uses the name "John" asks to speak to the same person each time he calls, he is rude if he does speak otherwise he hangs up.  

PLEASE STOP CALLING HERE.

    I have been receiving calls on both my cell and house phone from these people for several months.
    I usually ignore the number, unknown. On a whim I answered and they hung up.
    How can we stop this abuse??

    I've reported them as well. I've also contacted the Attorneys General offices in Newark, NJ not too far from where I live. So, they are aware. They did mention though that when they cut-off their service they just get another number and the harassing calls start all over again from another number.

    They told me they are called 'zombie debt collectors'  and that they purchase old debt and if they don't collect on this old debt then they lose a lot of $$$$ that they paid out-of-pocket. So, they keep calling and calling, even though most people don't answer. These people are not the brightest bulb in the pack, so to speak.

    I think they are as stupid as it gets. The debt they purchase is usually old debt. Most often, the person has moved or changed phone #'s ... or the debt is beyond the Statue Of Limitation (SOL varies from state-to-state) but they keep calling anyway. What a waste.

    If you pay them to get them off your back, you are actually admitting to the debt and you could be liable for the rest of it ... and they will be on you like maggots on road-kill .

    Don't answer. They are  trying to get into an argument with you or break people down so they will pay for something they technically don't owe just to get these creeps off of their backs.

    Don't answer or if you do answer blow a loud whistle into the phone and then hang up on these psycho-thugs.

    They are calling my cell phone all day from a 972 areacode i just send them straight to voicemail but they will never leave a voicemail the first call came in a 8am

    The number Vitelity, LLC, is using in Boise, Idaho, is 208-209-2461, 208-209-2436, and 208-209-2437.  I have yet to answer their phone calls and definitely won't after reading all of your messages.  Thank you, everyone, for sharing your stories.

    They keep calling and telling me to push my parties extension.  Thanks for this website, now I know not to ever answer the call.

    why can't someone stop these people from calling, I have received 6 call in 30 minutes.
    I have an ill child and I do not need these stupid calls.

      The calls are probably coming from telemarketing or debt collection call centers, or from overseas scammers, both of which use Vitelity as a telecom for cheap VoIP.

      If "Vitelity" shows up in caller id, then they didn't even bother to change caller id settings, but that may actually help, since if they did, they could be spoofing it pretending to be some other company or number.

      Contact the telecom, Vitelity LLC, to report harassing calls from one of their clients.

    I feel downright fortunate after reading a couple of pages of these complaints. I only receive about 3 calls a day, on average. For the last two to three weeks. It's 1:00 PM here, and I just got my second call for today.
    The number is 484-841-2804
    I never pick up, and they never leave messages.

    I a man with an India accent called me.Wanted my credit card numbers and balances to go through a back payment program with him.I told him my cards are fine,thankyou. He keeps calling.We got in a conversation of his nephew was a consultant back in India.

    I just got a call from them at this number: 703-564-1189, which is local to me. With Skype you can purchase phone numbers from any area code anywhere and so I find that more and more of these local numbers are really not local at all.

    I also am getting these phone calls, they start at 8 AM and don't stop until 8:30 PM does anybody know how to stop them

      The person who put this fraudulent claim out here on this site is a lead generator from Maine in the same business as I.  He is a sick and twisted individual with a long documented history of fraud, scams and a laundry list of criminal arrests.

      Mike Lillibridge/JCS Enterprises/Laconia NH is actually swamp ass. On top of going to web sites pretending to be complaining consumers this [***] is actually quite the photography buff. He loves to take pics of other vendor booths at trade shows. Someone also suggested he might use his photograhy skill near school yard playgrounds, and perhaps a men's room or two near here  in the Washington dc, northern Virginia area. No proof of it, just rumors going around.
