Bad Service and High Hidden Fees

Very deceptive company  they have more than 5 different names and websites. They are spamming under the other names.

Signed up for this company back 7/2011 as an alternative merchant acct to process checks from clients. Never used the service, not even once, and ended up forgetting about them until 1/2012.
Looking at my bank statement I see a charge for $199.95 annual fee!!! With NO notice from greenbyphone that this charge would be coming!!!
I quickly got on the phone. I was told to submit in writing that I never used the acct and want to be removed and of course refunded that money. Sent the email promptly never heard a word for a week. Called back to confirm receipt of email. Yes we got it and it's in our acct dept. waited another week no answer. 4 weeks later I get a response that they will not refund due to their terms and conditions !!!
I have an ingoing dispute with this company. Buyer Beware!! Very unreasonable for a small business

    Beware!! I just began doing business with green at the beginning of this month. They are holding over $1700 in funds of mine stating that they have not been able to receive the processing fee for each check. That is not true. I checked with my bank and was told fees have came out. I called to speak with someone only to be told three  Times that they are the answering service and someone would return my call and still no one has called me back. They request that a debit card is put on file to pay the fees and the debit card that I had on file is tied to the same business account that they put funds in. The contract clearly states that they will deposit the full amount of the check and take the fees out after. With that being said how are you are telling me that my card is declining for fees.  More importantly I have enough money in my account so that is impossible. They state that you can contact their customer support by email and I have sent numerous messages and have gotten no reply except for an automated message saying they received my email and gave me a ticket number stating someone will contact me within 24 hours. This is ridiculous they are taking advantage  and holding funds and holding up businesses. I don't know how they are getting away with this.

      They are truly are crooks, i have reported them to the attorney general, you should do the same. They shouldn't continue to get away with outrageous fees and debit peoples account at will.

      Mona, you were charged a signup fee up front. The reason your checks did not process is because your account was set to Credit Card Prepay. That is because your account was deemed high risk. Our terms and conditions do NOT state that we will deposit the full amount of your check and then withdraw our fees. We will only do that on Non-High Risk accounts. In your case you are pointing the finger at us when you don't have the funds available to process the checks you entered into the system.

        In having some problems with getting thru to JAIK can you help me??  I will call you tomorrow and ask for you personally I really hope you can help me out. I've signed up a week ago and got hit with all kinds of fees and next day of activation fee I get hit with a $500 prepaid account because they thought I was running a fake check till the owner had to Call and thought I ran away with his money!! Please help me Lonnie I would really appreciate it because JAIK is always out of the office or unavailable at lunch. Thank you

    Green By Phone is an amazing company that has helped me in my business for years and will for years to come. I can only guess that the people who have posted negative things about this company would be the same type of people who would agree to terms and conditions for any company, without actually reading them. These people do not belong in the real business arena, go back to selling fast food and leave real business to the adults! Green has no hidden agenda, and everything is spelled out in their contract in perfect english. I would recommend them to anybody, especially the people on this site who have posted negative comments, because they clearly do not know how to conduct real business and deserve to be parted from their money!

      You are definitely a partner of green by phone, because if you think they are amazing you are crazy. 3.-3.5 transaction fees, 199 annual fees, monthly fees, set up fees, deposits.. come on, who are you kidding.

        Dave...I will respond only with this...by the looks of your response then you have read Green's Terms and Conditions, so if you did not agree with them, why did you do business with them? Because you are considered "High Risk" and companies like Green are your only option...don't like it, then change your profession.

    Well green does have a very high fees. Also there customer service is pathetic. They say they will call but they won't. Please understand if u wanna grow stop these unprofessional  practices. It won't land u no where.

      Aman, thanks for your concern. We are growing at about 300% over last year. That says a lot. We have been in business for 8 years and have over 8000 merchants using our processing systems, as well as hundreds of resellers. We answer our phones live 24 hours a day. We respond to every rational inquiry within 24 business hours. As to our high fees, those are because we are dealing with high risk accounts. However, we do offer pricing as low as 5 cents per check for those processing Low-Risk, higher volume.

    VERY sad to be associated with such a company.So much hidden fees and rmp and that rmp(rolling reserve)will never be credit back to you.This is a fraud company and i would request to everyone not to take there merchant because they will end up getting nothing.They will never talk to you on phone and only ask you to email every time.This company is run by a bunch of [***] and i always see this Lonnie replying and hiding the fraud they are doing.She is replying to everyone because when someone else go through the review they can fool them by showing there replies but those replies are [***].I want every company who is scammed by them to file a case against these [***].

    I wouldn't agree with Mona, we just started using Green, and they are actually doing what they say. I agree with Lonnie, if its a Prepay account you goota fill it in.its like a prepaid phone..the more your recharge the more you talk...I am really looking forward for a long term business associate with Green.

    Please never take there merchant because they are fraud company,please try and save your money.You will start by thinking that you will be able to get a reliable source but later on you will realize that there is a whole lot of fees and unnecessary charges on the account and there is no one to solve your problems.
    I would request everyone to find a different merchant  because all these people who are writing the reviews in there favor are the one who works for them only .there new name is www.green.money now they are fooling people by this name.

    They are a complete scam. Paid $199.99 setup fee and was assured the only other payment would be a recurring $10 fee. Second month with them I see both the $10 fee and an additional fee for $10. Call them and they say it's for "compliance" and refused to explain it further. They gave me the number of the compliance company who explained nothing to me. Another dead end. The next month the "compliance" charge is magically raised to $14.99. No explaination. Called them again and received a rude dead end response basically saying that there is nothing I could do about this. So these people basically charge whatever they want whenever they want without consent. In other words, they steal. Beware! Complete scam. In talks to sue them now.

    I recently purchased something with an e-check and was slightly alarmed when I read the link. Reading the comments I see dealings with a professional who goes out of their way to voice comments and concerns so try being fair and reasonable like the companies you are representing and call them, be patient and give them a chance? I understand these concerns are important to address and you might've posted them quickly out of duress, but yeah, if you have more and want to smear what is probably a good company, abide by this bullet list:

    * construct proper sentences
    * avoid double negatives
    * spell out words like you instead of "u" and such
    * know the difference between there/their/they're and its/it's (check in your favorite search engine)
    * put the apostrophe in the right place or avoid the apostrophe by reconstructing the sentence

    Very deceptive and dishonest. Terrible customer service and business. I regret the day I ever signed up with Green.Money AKA greenbyphone.com AKA scam artists. I suggest you dont send a deposit. None of your customers checks will ever clear, their system is constantly not working. You will never get a refund even if it is their fault. They are the grimiest players in the credit card industry. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!

    Lonnie and Kyle are the only people who will ever respond. Very small business, cant afford to lose any money so they will steal yours. They clearly wrote these positive reviews themselves. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
