This person called me yesterday about a bill i do owe.  He asked me about paying $200 a month and i told him i did not have the finances to do that.  When i explained to him that i was not sure what i could pay he began being a complete jerk.  I told him, OK I will explain a little more so maybe you can understand.  I lost my husband to cancer on July 1 and therefore his SS income as well, so you will just have to forgive for now.  By this time i was in tears and i just hung up the phone.   He called right back, i didnt pick up and he left a voice mail that said, Now let me explain something so you understand, you cant use your husband...........   He continues to call back, three times.  i answer the phone then hang it up so he cant leave me anymore messages like that.  He called again this morning and left another message, though it wasnt has bad as the ones before.  I wish i could do something about this unkind person.

    This company continues to call me daily and threatens me and even told me to "[***] off" and called mw  "[***]" all because i asked them to send varification of a bill they say i owe. I asked them to either mail me or email me the information. I was told that they didn't have to send me anything. Ugh...the calls are getting so annoying.

      Tell any&all callers like that, that you are going to report them to the FTC: Federal Trade Commission.
      They'll get the message to leave you ALONE!!@!

        It is the fdcpa...You peolpe that owe money make every excuse in book not to pay..Your debts can be sold for non payment..And if you call oringinal client they have no record because its sold...They ask you to verify social and name because its the law..Just pay your bills and you wont have to deal with collections..

          If it's a legitimate loan then there are legitimate recourses a lender can use to get the money back. I am assuming these are illegal loans therefore theses companies have to resort to illegal practices to attempt to collect. I'm sure they make their money back from those that don't know what predatory lending is and that will pay back the 300%+ loans. I say if a company if low enough to resort to these kinds of loans, they deserve not to be paid back.

      I tell people like this all the time to send me something in the mail that says I owe something. But I never get anything in the mail. People are just scamming

    If you get a call from a phantom debt collector, file a complaint with your state attorney general's office and the Federal Trade Commission. This is how prosecutors build a case and go after these crooks. The FTC has information about phantom debts and fake collection notices on its website

      in that case everyone should just take out debts not pay them back an then when they get a call they should just contact there attorney general... that makes so much sense ... how about just pay the bill thats owed or better yet dont take out loans that you know you cant pay back

    A guy named Tony keeps calling my son and me asking for my ex husbands phone number.  If they have his name, shouldn't they have his phone number as well?  Tony is very rude.

    Total scam. Do not give them any money . They call me everyday . I got scamped out of $55. Looked online found numerous other people in my same ordeal . I called my bank immediately and disputed the charge. When you tell them no they get mad and start yelling. I repeat total scam do not give them any money what so ever.

    I have been receiving numerous harrassing phone calls to my home and my cell phone from this group regarding my Daughter.  They will not release any information nor talk with me regarding the claim.  My Daughter is very ill and cannot speak with them.  They more or less told me that it is none of my business and that they need to speak with my Daughter.  It just seems strange to me that if she owes any money and i am willing to hear what they have to say then why not talk with me I am her Mother and they are calling my phone numbers.

    SCAM Alert! I have had the same problem call 3 times now with a person names James who was rude as hell and even hung up on me when I tried to make payment arrangements that were too small to make him money.

    No more calls
    Charles with NAM(716-362-3293) group called my cell today and stated he is trying to collect on a debt for Check n go. The first company was Sam Smith with Northwood Group. I have not received a letter stating how much I owe and I told Sam I do not owe the amount he is trying to collect. I will not pay until they provide me with a validation letter.

    They are using a phone number 8447603230. "MR davis" his name is yet he emails from a Paul smith"  Hey "taylor" tell your co-workers to get a little more creative with the names.

      We don't send emails, our front t office does. Is that too hard to comprehend?
